I was so tired yesterday! it hot me mid morning and didnt go away. im not sure if it was due to that or the hormones but a few people in the office were really getting on my nerves!! I decided it would be best for everyone if I worked from home today!
Planning on staying in my PJs most of the morning!
Managed to stay awake during my meal last night, luckily my friend was happy to meet up early! Id looked at the menue during the say and and chosed a raviolo with goats cheese and and i was really looking forward to it. Naively I thought that as it was a chain resturant, they would use cheese with pasturised milk. Luckily I did check before I ordered and they didnt so I had to choose something else! Although ravioli would have been boiled and therefore cooked all the way through, would it have been ok? Im still so confused by the cheese!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day, looks like we are going to have a sunny one here!

JT- Hope you manage to sort the housework quickly and can put your feet up. Are we forecast nice weather today?
Weeme- Haha I think I managed 10.30! I did crash out on the sofa though and then climbed in to bed at about 11. We are very rock & roll.
AFM- Another one with not a lot going on. Think I need to invest in a maternity pillow as I spent the whole of last night struggling to get comfy. My task for today is pillow research!
Hope everyone has a lovely day xx

MrsBass- I am completely clueless on cheeses but as I don't particularly eat much anyway it hasn't been an issue. Pregnancy is like a minefield! haha Glad you had a lovely meal out with your friend.
19/06/2013 at 08:49
JT - hope you get your housework done quickly :)
weeme - woo! go you with the late night! Hopefully it doesn't tire you out too much for today. I was in bed at 9:15 last night!
Mrs Bass - I always thought that if it had been cooked it would be ok but like you, I would have probably erred on the side of caution. I am confused by cheese and I miss it sooooooooo much more than anything else I've had to give up in pregnancy, I dream about a huge chunk of brie :(
Sam - yeah I need a maternity pillow too, I toss and turn so much at the moment I'm driving H mad. I think Little Pixie got a summer one from Kiddicare that looked good, I'm going to get one of those I think.
AFM - had my flu jab yesterday and my arm was really painful last night, felt quite flu-ey as well but thankfully that's all gone today. I have got my meeting with HR to discuss my leaving date today, yippee! I'm looking at 30th August to start three weeks annual leave, then starting my ML a week before my DD. I'll then have about three and a bit days to use to go part time for a few weeks before I start AL - when I counted it up, I would actually only have about 40 working days left and I can't tell you how appealing that sounds!
19/06/2013 at 10:07
Popcorn- At least your flu jab is out of the way and glad it has gone today. 40 working days sounds amazing! I daren't tot mine up yet as think it will still sound like loads but I know it is going to be approx. 15 weeks which doesn't sound TOO bad! haha
Little Pixie- I'm looking at the simmer pillow. There looks like a fabric circle in the middle of the doughnut shape, is this detatchable or stitched in?
19/06/2013 at 10:16
cheese has been the hardest thing for me too (closely followed by eggs with a runny yolk!) i have had some goats cheese on pizza as i knew it would be cooked through and ive even had a deep fried brie wedge and they was totally melted so defo cooked through! It seems my brain can only concentrait on one thing, it being cooked or it being made with pasturised milk! I was at a christening on sunday and there was a wedge of brie that was just oozing it was so soft!!! looked amazing!
Popcorn glad the side effects of the jab have worn off! 40 days of work left sounds amazing!!
Sam you'll have to let us know which one you go for. Im managing ok at the moment but Im sure one will come in useful in the future!

Woo! Maternity leave all sorted out :)
Last day at work is 30th August, two weeks annual leave and then starting ML on 16 September, 2 weeks before my DD. I had miscalculated the amount of AL I have left as have a week booked off at the beginning of July. In total, I have 42 working days left, eep!
Mrs Bass - oh why did you have to remind me how much I'm missing runny eggs :(
19/06/2013 at 10:43
Popcorn- Yey for maternity leave being sorted! I think my AL/ML will be something very similar. I have about 3 weeks AL left but the most (if any) I am going to take before ML is a week. I will officially be starting ML 2 weeks before DD and taking either 2 or 3 weeks AL before that. Latest I should be leaving is 4th October whoohoo! Going to wait until I get my MATB1 form to sort it all officially and by then I should have more of an idea about what I am doing holiday wise.

Right ladies, how do I get a baby fruit thingy!?
19/06/2013 at 10:52
Hi ladies, a lovely sunny day here not sure what to do with the day yet just waiting for Isla to wake up from her nap.
You lot are very good with your cheeses and what not. I'm not a fan of Brie etc so that's not a prob for me but I thought as Long as it was cooked through theres no issue. I was also told by midwife that a long as you have eggs that are lion stamped its ok to eat them runny as the chicken have been vaccinated against the nasties. I think its egg from the side of the road/peoples gardens etc you have to be careful of.
Hope everyone has a nice day x

Nevermind, figured it out! Little banana baby :) I'm not sure I will be so happy about the fruit comparisons once baby gets bigger..
MrsB- Hope you have a lovely day in the sunshine once Isla wakes :)
19/06/2013 at 11:06
Weeme- well done for staying up late. I'm gradually getting better at it as in 1st tri I was out by 8.30!
MrsBass- I get confused by all the different cheeses too its hard to remember. I tend to go with if its cooked well (melted) then it will be ok
Sam- let us know which pillow you get, I think I need to get one but will have to wait til payday
PC- finishing at the end of aug doesn't sound long away! Very exciting
MrsB- I didn't know that about eggs. Runny eggs are what I miss most of all. I made a fried egg sandwich a couple of weeks ago and cooked it both sides but literally nearly cried as when I cracked the egg open it was a double yolker!! I've never ever had one of them before!
19/06/2013 at 11:24
i should probably start my new job before thinking about when i stop it!!
MrsB you may have just made my day!!!! We used to have poached eggs at the weekend and I miss them so much! I see my midwife in a coupld of weeks so i'll run that theory past her!!
jellytot, i have gone with that theory a coupld of times! I love my cheese too much!
19/06/2013 at 11:27
JT- hahaha I did a little laugh at the double yolker! Bloody sods law!
19/06/2013 at 11:40
Sam - yeah it's all fun and games when it's a banana but the cantaloupe frightened the life out of me ;)
MrsB - you have possibly made my day about the lion stamped eggs thing, dippy eggs and soldiers is my comfort food! Hope you are able to enjoy the sunshine :)
JT - end of Aug sounds seriously close now. It's crazy because I have been moaning so much about how I feel like I've been pregnant for ages and it's all going really slowly!
19/06/2013 at 11:52
Popcorn- Wait until it gets to pumpkin or watermelon! Argh! Papaya doesn't seem too bad, lets wait and see what tomorrow brings for you ;)
19/06/2013 at 12:24
Ah glad I've made a few of you happy this morning. I haven't stopped eating dippy/poached eggs since I found out I was pregnant!
19/06/2013 at 12:54
I am very happy with my little lemon at the moment! :-)
WFH is going well so far, Ive done 2 loads of washing and got them out on the line, a spot of gardening, written a shopping list & still maaged to get more work done than i would have if id been in the office!
Only down fall is i just went in the cupbord to get some baked beans out for a light lunch of beans on toast and I spotted some spice mix for fajitas so ive made fajitas for myself! Oops!!
