Oh it's a chilly one today. Had to scrape the car for the first time this winter.
I had a good sleep last night, L didn't appear until 5.45 and I think that was my alarm waking him. Wee soul was frozen when he came through.
Pregnancy wise I'm 24 weeks today woohoo! Heart burn still a nightmare, SPD not bad right now but was sore last night. Will see how it is after my workout today.
Hope everyone had a good sleep and a nice day planned! X

Morning LR :)
Scraping car, eurgh. I've not looked out yet but hopefully mine will have defrosted by now, I'm not a morning person anyway and that's quite possibly one of my least favourite jobs. Yay to 24 weeks already! Your pregnancy seems to be going much quicker than mine what aromatherapy will you use for heartburn?
Days annual leave for me today, I'm just getting ready to take M to nursery then I'm off to Glasgow Fort for lunch and shopping with my sis, can't wait, can't remember the last time we had child free time together - probably before her 7 mth old was born!
Pregnancy wise still nothing to report no movements to speak of, think I've put on about 2lbs in total, oh but have gained stretch marks on my legs?? Can't work that out!
Hope everyone is doing well, hi to everyone coming on later x

WE have a fabulous time shopping! I rarely go to the fort but I don't why as its a great place (unless its windy in which case it's Baltic!) have fun!
AFM - 20 weeks today! V happy! I have a sore tummy (tummy not baby) for some reason this morning....might be my tights are getting a bit too small!! Ha!
Have a good day all!

It really is going to be adouble buggy and a boys clothes if needed i think.

LR, can't believe its that cold up there! Yay for 24 weeks :)
Weekender, enjoy your day. Is your placenta anterior? Mine is again and it was only about 19w I felt movements and this is my second.
Sweetpea, happy 20w! Feels like quite a milestone
AR, glad you slept well. Great to tick stuff off! I'm making some progress but I don't think I'll feel like it til the joiners been to sort the spare room out which is after half term.
Afm, I'm ok still tired which seems to be my new normal lol feeling a bit emotional but I've been arranging a collection for someone going through a tough time on another forum and it's made me realise how lucky I am and made me feel sad for them too.

LR - where are you based? Can't believe we're in frost season already. Yuck.
Weekender - just 2lbs? Wow. Enjoy shopping, let us know what you get :)
Sweetpea - Happy Halfway Day to you! (depending on early/late obviously)
AR - will you ask to know the gender, seeing as you have little girl clothes already?
Bertie - I saw Micky Flanagan earlier this year, I was sat in between my husband and his best friend and all 3 of us were crying with laughter. I didn't think he'd be that good! Enjoy :D
Isis, really hope you feel better soon.
Afm, tired through working too much, really starting to miss my old life (friends, reading, exercise, etc). Definitely much more emotional at the moment, got really upset at the Maddie Crimewatch Monday night, then I was really upset about forum stuff y/day, which was my own fault, then upset again last night because hubby away on a course and dog was poorly. Not used to crying lol. OTOH I'm loving daily movements and never had that first time around, this one is a wriggler :)
Hello to followers :)

Isis, I'm not sure about placenta, when did you find out yours was anterior? I had an anterior one last time, don't know if it increases the chances of it being anterior again? 3 weeks tomorrow to 20 wk scan so shall find out then I'm sure.
Everyone else sounds like they are doing ok, lots of tiredness around though! Won't be long till the weekend again x
16/10/2013 at 11:10
I asked at the private scan we had and then double checked at the 20w scan. I wasn't surprised tbh. Not sure if it does increase the chance if you've had one before. I'm still not feeling or seeing anything externally. Can't wait til H can feel the baby :)

LR that's crazy you had to defrost the car, autumn is well and truly here! Glad you had a good sleep it makes a massive difference.
Weekender have a fantastic shopping trip sounds like a lovely day! I still haven't felt any movements (that I'm aware of!) from my scan letter I think that my placenta is posterior so I'm not sure when I should be feeling something!
Congrats on 20 weeks SP halfway through!
AR sounds like you're pretty sorted for the new arrival already, glad you managed to get a good night sleep!
Bertie how cute love baby cuddles, and so lovely you and your sister will have little ones so close together.
Oh Isis sorry you're feeling emotional but how lovely of you to arrange a collection. It is easy to be down when were feeling crap all the time but what we get at the end if it will be so worth it x
Counter sounds like you're having a down day too lots of hugs and I hope the popster feels better bless her.
AFM I have booked a days annual leave (had to use them before the end of the month) and its so nice to have a lie in! Was two hours late for work today thanks to my doctors appointment overrunning and then not being able to park at the station so need to concentrate on work, will come back for personals this evening.
Just wanted to jump on to say thanks for all the reassurance yesterday! Everyone on here is so lovely. I'm just last born worrier! 16 weeks today so determined to try and relax for the next couple of weeks and try to enjoy it.

LR congrats on the 24 weeks milestone! Heartburn sounds rubbish, I've started getting more indigestion too!
WE - Enjoy your day out, sounds lovely. Can't believe you have only put on 2 pounds, very lucky!!
SP - Congrats on 20 weeks - halfway there! Maybe you need maternity tights? I'm wearing some today, very comfy.
AR - Glad you slept better last night, not sleeping is horrible.
Bertie - Most of my friends have had babies already so they give me advice. You can be the font of all knowledge when its their turns!
Isis - Still plenty of time to get things sorted.
Counter - Is there a light at the end of the tunnel with your work? Or it is expected that you do this many hours?
Grif - I think the glowing thing is a myth :) Sorry you are still being sick every morning. Hope the next 3 weeks go quickly, you must be so glad he comes home soon.
AFM - Nearly as pregnant as I have ever been, strange feeling but I'm 21 weeks tomorrow. House is currently in a bit of a mess as we have a builder turning our conservatory/shed into a proper dining room. Can't wait until its finished because then its the nursery :) Other than that nothing much to report.
