36 weeks today. Feels really close now, especially as the last MD baby was born just before 36 weeks! Baby shower in 10 days, 2 days of work at the museum, and hopefully no more pregnancy woes rearing their ugly heads. Oh, but I was up for a while in the night with horrible pain. In my mouth. Like one of my lower wisdom teeth was trying to erupt. Perfect timing! im sure it'll be fine for a few weeks, just will be popping paracetamol if it flares up again like last night And have it taken care of when baby is here. Though I might FaceTime my sister just to get her advice.
hopefully everyone has had as good a nights sleep as possible!

Morning wispa and everyone else to come :)
wispa - great news about 36wks woohoo! It certainly does feel close doesn't it, I'll be 36wks on Friday eek! I have a growth scan on Friday and a meeting with the consultant and diabetic clinic then. So sorry to hear about your wisdom tooth, that doesn't sound pleasant at all, wasn't it Imp that had tooth problems during pregnancy too? I hope it settles itself down :) Is your sis a dentist? Not long til your baby shower, that should be heaps of fun.
AFM my birthing ball arrived yesterday, H pumped it up for me and I had a go last night and again this morning, I had a better nights sleep, not sure if its because of the ball or not but I wasn't waking up every hour to move to get a comfy position which was ace! I wish I had bought one sooner now, oh well. We fitted the Isofix to the car at the weekend, my gawd it feels like this is really happening now! Had my baby shower on Sunday and the bubba was spoilt and I was not keen to have one and it was a surprise, although my friend let it slip a couple of weeks beforehand, it was laugh in the end and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wispa sorry to hear about your tooth. Leelee is right, I had toothache earlier on and ended up getting root canal. I think you might have had some other tteaent didn't you too? I hope it's nothing too bad anyway and that it buggers off on it's own. Yay for 36 weeks! Eeek!
Leelee yay for the ball helping. I find if I use mine at night I have a much more rested nights sleep. I hope it continues for you. Eeek to having fitted the base for the car seat, I bet it feels real now. How lovely that you got a baby shower surprise and got spoilt.
AFM I'm off to the mw this morning. Got a list of ailments to take along with me so I reckon she'll be glad once I've gone! Lol! Had a dreadful nights sleep last night, reckon I must have totalled about 3 hours. So I'm pretty unhappy today too!

Wispa - yay for 36 weeks, the end is truly in sight! Hope your teeth behave themselves until baby arrives!
LeeLee - glad the birthing ball helps, really must try and use mine more! Glad you enjoyed your baby shower.
Imp - hope your appointment goes well, I always take a list so I don't forget anything!
AFM - had my growth scan yesterday, baby is fine just little. They are continuing perfectly along the 19th centile line so at least they are growing consistently! Only downsides were that baby is still breech, I was really sure they had turned. Also as a Dr had referred me for the scan we had to wait an hour and a half after the scan just for a Dr to sign off my notes so we could leave! My slightly impatient husband was not impressed! We have to go back again in 3 weeks time to check baby is still growing ok and to hopefully see that they have turned!
Had 2nd NCT class last night which was good, went through all the options for pain relief which made me feel a little more informed!
Got 34 week midwife appointment today then the breast feeding NCT class tomorrow evening, busy baby filled week!

LL, yep, sister is a dentist. I'm sure she'll say it's fine, though! Yay for the ball helping. I've been using mine for a few days, too, and it's been good. Also, I think it's supposed to help baby get into a good position, isn't it? Glad you enjoyed your shower in the end :)
Imp, yeah, I remember your root canal! I had a crown put on in first tri, but that was for a root canal that was done before my wedding last year. This is a different kind of ache, like something is pushing my teeth and making them all hurt. It's died down already, though, so fingers crossed it's not worth seeing a dentist just yet. I hope the midwife is able to give you some possible solutions for your list!!
Vix, there's plenty of time for baby to turn still. Glad to hear baby is growing well and your enjoying. NCT!

Imp - sorry to hear about your awful nights sleep, there's nothing worse than that to start your day. I hope your mw appt goes well and you get some sound advice/help.
Vix - good news about baby growing in the right way and don't worry about the positioning, there's still time to move :)
wispa - yep I've heard the ball is supposed to help with the positioning/engaging of baby too :) I was a bit worried about using it right now as he has a couple more weeks yet before full term, well just under :) I'm not sure if the hospital have them either so will probably take mine and look like a right wally walking through all the corridors with it haha.
Does anyone know at what point we can start with the raspberry leaf tea or tablets, if it can help with labour/birth then I'm all for trying it haha, taaa x
