Hope all is going well. Sapphire welcome to 3rd tri. I didnt manage to get on yest as work was manic and I had to spend lunch time in Primark as no clothes that fit in this cold weather! Still debating a maternity jacket as it's freezing but i'll only wear it a couple of months. Not sure I can get zip up whilst fitting shoulders etc of a non maternity one. All going well here. Baby lovely and wriggly and getting there with organising bits. Even sorted most of xmas presents. One of the scls I work with told me a boy has Rubella in a class I was in only the day previous. Pretty sure the 'Rubella-positive' in my maternity notes means Im immune, but i'll call the MW to check if it is safe to go there.

Morning all sorry I haven't been on here for a few days
Rio get a jacket, I wish I gad got more maternity clothes now as I've literally brought nothing, now with 3 weeks to go I'm wearing summer clothes and cardigans as I refuse to spend money with so little time left and won't get the most of them. Go for it! Glad you're getting organised.
AFM I had my final hosp appt yesterday at my local hosp. We ran through the birth plan and all agreed. Just need to pick up the final copy in the next couple of days. I've had car problems again and then yesterday found my windscreen chipped! Can't wait to finish for mat leave so I can get it all sorted. I finish next Monday so not only a couple of days left now. Must pack my hosp bag this weekend!
Hope you're all well xx

No idea re rubella rio, but def phone the mw. If it helps I'm a nurse and my consultant and mw and occ health have told me not to be in contact with ANY rashes/mumps etc despite immunity as immunity can change following exposure. I was happy seeing chicken pox but they said not to due to immunity being affected following repeated exposures so I just blanket it and don't see any rashes at all.
Mrs L sounds like your car is being a night mare hope you sort it
Jj I feel your pain with the renovations, with a matter of weeks to go our extension is delayed and no sign of it finishing
Welcome to third tri btw
Afm, 5 shifts left to work hallelujah! It's my 'most definitely
Not a baby shower type do' on Saturday, looking forward to teas and cakes and fooood lol, everyone fully aware of the no games/tackyness rules hoping since we will be in a public place people will just eat their cake etc and not make a fuss. So glad to have my section date, at least I know I have the end in sight, Iv literally just counted up and it's frighteningly close .
Scan tomorrow to check placenta, growth and scar feasability.
Take care all x

Rio: I would definitely check with your mw, I think they advise to stay away from all of these conditions. A child was diagonalised with mumps on my last day I probably wouldn't have gone in the following day. I was due the end of Jan with my 1st & I just wore big fleecy jumpers but I'm not a coat person anyway
MrsL: Glad to hear that your plan is finally finalised. Definitely get packing that bag, we seem to have quite a few babies go early on here (although no queue jumping ;-) )
JJ: Welcome to 3rd Tri, so lovely to see so many ladies from the TTC boards on here - the home straight! Sounds like you're getting very organised, it's amazing how generous people are when it comes to babies! Not long maternity leave, try to rest up at work when you can.
RF: Not long left to work now! Your non baby shower sounds like fun, any excuse for cake!!! Glad you've got your date sorted, wonder if you'll reach it this time ;-) Hope your scan goes well today.
AFM: I found out that my baby is back to back yesterday so finally got myself off the sofa to help shift him! I'm also getting quite a few aches & a bit of pressure down there but not sure if that's all the exercises I've been trying to do to turn him or if my body is preparing. Eeek! Although I'll try not to queue jump the people ahead of me!!! Off for a swim for Isobelle's swimming lesson, hope that'll ease things.
