Morning all, hope its ok for me to start today!
I've just arrived in work, made myself a green tea with a squeeze of lemon and about to have my banana. I woke up starving this morning!
Now just need to work up the energy to get started! Thankfully it's quiet this morning so I can chill for a bit.
Hope everyone is good and lots of luck to those with scans today.
Take care x

Lr, congratulations again! How're you feeling? I used to drink buckets of green tea and then I discovered it had caffeine in it, I somehow thought it was caffeine free!
AFM I went to pregnancy yoga last night for the first time. It was very hmmmmmmmm, yoga'y! I'm sure once I'm bigger it'll be amazing, for breathing and my back etc, but I'm not sure it's right for me now. I'll probably continue to go, but only once a week rather than the twice I'd planned.
I slept really badly last night too, I thought I'd be in a relaxed state and sleep right through. I woke up to pee about 4 times, which I never do!
Congrats on your BFP :-)
i am 13weeks today. Hurrah. Off to local NCT 'party in the park' event today with LO. Weather is supposed to be lovely so hopefully it will he good :-)

Hi Imp - I've been having nights where the sleep feels like it was non existent. So frustrating :-(
19/06/2013 at 08:15
I'm feeling fine thanks Imp - H was so excited yesterday and I think it's rubbed off on me! I told my 3 closest friends yesterday which was lovely but I need to decide when/how to tell my folks. My cousins wife is about 10 weeks with their first so I don't want to steel her thunder!
I e just posted about what equipment I still have and what I'll need. Trying to be practice!
I'm sleeping really well, if you consider my usual 5 hours interrupted by non sleeping 3 yr old good sleep! I do wake pirating for the loo though but it never really wakes me during the night thankfully!
HF - enjoy your day. It's nice here as well, planning n taking the kids to the park after work. I do 7-12 on Wed so hopefully still nice when I get home!

Congratulations again LR. I did the same with green tea, then switched to decaf.
Imp, that's disappointing about the yoga, but should get better as you get bigger. At least it's some exercise.
HF, enjoy your day in the park, hope its nice weather.
Not much to report here, last day at work, I bet it drags !
Hi to all that follow x

Thanks Mrs P.
it's caffeine free I always drink anyway. I drink green and peppermint tea by the bucket load.
With regards to the yoga - I find a lot depends on the instructor as well as the content. I had an amazing instructor who unfortunately had to cancel her class, then the next lady was awful. It makes such a difference.
I did antinatal water aerobics last time, more to meet people than anything g else! It was so low impact compared to the usual classes I do that it was about of a waist of time. I'm planning g on continuing the classes I currently do for as long as possible and then just sticking to my gym program. H can adjust it accordingly. The benefit of owning a gym I suppose!
I'm climbing Ben Nevis on 20th July so need to keep my fitness up for that!

All my vibes to sue this morning, I really hope your ok.
LR congrats again. Hope your day stays quiet! I was going to say on your post y'day, I'm so impressed you held of testing so long!
Imp as you say, the classes will probably be great when your bigger but I guess it's good to get into it now at least. I was just about to ask today, is this me for the next 6 no this now that I'll not be able to make it through the night without having to get up for a wee!? I had an awful sleep the night before last but last night wasn't too bad, I still have to get up at least once every night now which obviously doesn't help as it interrupts my sleep!
HF how did the second night in the big bed go? Party in the park sounds good, I hope the weather stays nice for you both.
AFM on the train to work and its mobbed and I'm standing and feel SICK!! My train technique so far is to try and have a sleep which helps with the sickness but no such luck today. Gutted!
Other than that, nothing much from me, a week today until my scan!x

Crossed posts missdeedee! Hope someone gets off and you can grab their seat!
I only just tested because I had the Mirena fitted, had it removed on Friday as it had "dislodged" and was supposed to wait 1-2 weeks and test before having another fitted. Turns out I was already pregnant! Bit of a shock to say the least!

Sorry Mrs P, I must type slow! Hope your last day goes quickly for you! How's pingu! You excited about tomorrow?xx

Night 2 in big girl bed - much better. She slept thru. Hurrah. Then she came running into my room at quarter to 7 this morning. Did a massive great big wee and her DISPOSABLE nappy leaked everywhere. All over my bed. So I was forced to get up pretty promptly. Grr. Annoying because we only temporarly have her in disposables at night because the cloth leak at night. Conclusion = she does big wees overnight!

That's brilliant HF. My L was 3 in March and I can count on my fingers how many nights he's spent in his own crib/cot/bed. He's a big boy as well so goodness knows how we will manage when I have a bump!

Hello, dipping my toes in nervously! Not sure how much I’ll post in the first few weeks, just praying I get to my early scan and hopefully will then feel much better. Hope you are all well anyway x
19/06/2013 at 10:33
Morning OB. Hope you are well x
19/06/2013 at 12:37
OB- Only just saw the news over on OT. I am a bit of a poster/ lurker over there and just want to send lots of vibes and hugs for a very boring and uneventful 8 months :) x
19/06/2013 at 13:00
Thanks MDD, Pingu seems fine, can't wait until tomorrow, although the nuchal measurement scares me slightly.
OB, lovely to see you here, I hope you have the most uneventful 8 months (in the nicest sense) xxx
19/06/2013 at 13:19
Missdeedee, how was the train? Did you make it without any sick incidents?
mrs P, how exciting that its your scan tomorrow! All my good luck vibes!
HF, that made me laugh about your LO! Glad she slept through though.
OB, you will get to your early scan. I know it. Until then try and keep yourself occupied, doctors orders after all!
Sam, nice to see you over here! Hopefully I'll see you over on 2nd try soon!
I actually feel a bit sick today, I did on Sunday too. I though ms and tiredness should have gone by now?! It's all lies!!!!!
19/06/2013 at 14:27
Imp- Not long till your big leap to 2nd tri! :) How had 1st tri been so far? Sorry you are still suffering a little with MS and tiredness. I can't vouch for the MS but my tiredness definitely got better by about 15/16 weeks! Don't get my wrong, still not going to bed at 2am but I'm managing to stay awake past 9pm now which is good! x
19/06/2013 at 14:30
Apart from the anxiety of something going wrong it hasn't been too bad for me, I've felt sick but not actually officially been sick(yet)! I can't believe I've actually got this far, I didn't let myself believe it for a long time!
19/06/2013 at 14:37
Imp- It's understandable to have anxiety and unfortunately I can't tell you it's all going to disappear but it does definitely get easier. I have still barely felt any movement yet and keep bugging H saying 'she is okay in there isn't she/ why isn't she punching me!'. My placenta is anterior so think she is giving that a good walloping instead :) I have said before that I think all this worrying we are doing is going to be around for a long while and isn't going to stop when they are born!
