Hope it's ok for me to start this!
Thanks for the welcome and the good wishes.
Im so tired today, been in work since 6.30 and about to do my work out. Can really see out far enough though. Has anyone else continued doing exercise through their pregnancy? I'm determined I'm not giving it up, but obviously health comes first.
I'm finding it really hard to eat just now, I'm not nauseas, just have no appetite. I have a banana that I'm planning in eating before my weights but it has no appeal at all!
Hope everyone is well and I think from reading the last few days there are scans today so lots of luck ladies xx

Morning GB, nice to see someone start the thread early! I think as long as you aren't doing anything new, and you've been exercising for sons time your body should be used to it. I think the advice is to try not to wear yourself out too much, or get too hot. Maybe speak to your gp/mw about it?
Good luck to HF and mrs penguin, we'll be waiting to hear your good news later and see the pics of your babies!
AFM, scan day tomorrow. Been up all night last night, just couldn't sleep, I must be sub consciously worrying about it I think. Got to get loads done at work today so hopefully that'll take my mind off it, but roll on home time as I'm exhausted already!
12/06/2013 at 08:07
Hopefully work being busy will make it fly by for you.
I'm still doing my same work out but added more stretches, Pilates/yoga type work. I have my program to work through that is updated weekly depending on how I'm feeling so should be fine. Just need the tiredness to lift!

Mrs P and HF good luck today! You'll both be fine but ill check back to see your pics.
GB I think as imp says your ok as long as its excercise your used to and you don't over do it. Even if you don't have much appetite remember to have plenty water.
Imp I hope your day goes quickly. What time is your scan?
AFM on the train and got the normal nausea. There's a load of people on the train around me either coming back from or going to a festival, they've maybe been at rockness, anyway, they're drinking and the smell is turning my guts! Mrs Bass I didn't get back on to post yesterday, my staple morning food as soon as I get up in the morning is 3 dry crackers and a drink of lucozade. Seems to do the trick to get me to work then I have something when I get in. Not much else from me, scan 2 weeks today, I hope it just flies round. I'm giving in an ordering some mat clothes, my work ruff is cutting me in half and not helping with me feeling a bit sick x

Scan is at 9.40 tomorrow so nice and early. I'm seeing the mw afterwards so I'm not sure what time I'll be able to update you, but will ASAP!
I've decided what I'm buying for mat clothes, I e just not pressed the button yet!

I'm lucky that I live mostly in stretchy yoga pants so not tight yet. Though I can def see a difference in my tummy, its very bloated already!
12/06/2013 at 08:31
Mine isn't until 2pm so I'll have to go to work first and then to the hospital, can't see that being a productive morning! Where are you getting your stuff imp? I've been looking on next and new look, I'm just going to get a couple of things to help me through the next two weeks.
GB I wish I lived in yoga trousers, I could cope with that!
12/06/2013 at 08:35
I'm getting a skirt and trousers from next. Possibly some tops from h&m and maybe gap. I've also seen a dress for work from asos.

Morning ladies, Wow busy thread already.
GymBunny - welcome. Yes I've continued doing exercise, I walk a lot and horse ride, oh and chase a toddler around daily :-) I even managed a 10mile endurance ride last Saturday which was fab. Yes, I'm knackered after but I figure I'd be just as tired sitting on a sofa!
Imp - staying busy definitely helps i think
MDD - hope your nausea buggers off soon. Mine did a week or two ago.
AFM. Scan today. Bricking it. Got barely any sleep. Then cos I was awake, H woke and we DTD and I promptly burst into tears afterwards. Emotional me? Bleeding hormones - grrr. My poor H.

GB - hi and welcome. I think moderate exercise is fine but they do say that high impact stuff like aerobics shold be avoided. Best check with your GP.
Imp, lovely, why are you worrying about your scan?? Baby was happy and wriggly on Saturday - there are only the screening tests to think about and tbh they are just a precaution, aren't they? The chance of their being a cause for concern is tiny. But, sending you a hug anyway xx
missdeedee - urgh, I hate the smell of unwashed people. I hope they don't actually make you throw up!
HF - good luck today, can't wait to hear back! What time is it? Sorry that your hormones aren't playing fair.
3 more days to go! And in 1 week I'll be at the airport ready to go on holiday. Woohoo! Hopefully got a few maternity bits turning up in the post today, which is good, as I'm really starting to struggle to find clothes that a) fit and b) don't just make me look as if I've eaten too much.....
12/06/2013 at 09:33
I know penny, I have no idea why I would be worrying really. I just think my mind is way too active at night and goes off on tangents of its own. I was honestly lying there for hours with baby stuff whirring around in my head, unable to switch off! I didn't think I was worried at all yesterday, but obviously I was!
What have you ordered mat wise?
12/06/2013 at 09:45
Its funny what we're worrying about when we don't even realise it!
I've bought two pairs of black work trousers (one bootcut, one skinny) as they were on sale at a ridiculously low price, so i couldn't say no, one pair of black jeans, and then I've also had to buy a few bits for holiday in case my bump really starts to grow while I'm away - so two pairs of cheap shorts, a pair of white trousers, and some 3/4 length jeans. Hopefully, if I don't need them, I can return them within 28 days if I leave the labels on and don't end up wearing them. So for normal every day wear I only have two pairs of trousers and one pair of jeans. I'm planning on wearing those same trousers on rotation for a little while, with long vests and smart cardigans, accessorised with scarves etc to keep it interesting. I'm not sure what my dress code is at the new job though so I'm hoping this will be ok!
I've also got this dress from Dorothy Perkins which isn't maternity, but will be really good with wedges/heels and a scarf or bright necklace, when the bump does start to show:

Love that dress!

i didnt get back on last night so Hello Gymbunny, welcome and congratulations!
My friend is a real fitness exercise and a part time Personal trainer. she cut back during her first tri mainly due to tiredness but she is slowly getting back to it now. If there is something you arent sure about, your DR or Midwide might be able to help!
Imp i can recomend tidying your desk if you run out of things to do! :-) I hope the day goes quickly and you manage to sleep tonight!
MDD I think the smell of booze so early in the morning would make most people feel ill! New Look have lots of bits on their website and ASOS! After looking in town the other day, I think im going to have to get most of it online as in store ranges are limited or non exsistant! I am in love with my jeans from ASDA though! Light wearing PJs!
Oh HF want to give you a big hug! sendign lots of vibes for today!!
Penny Im sure you ahve said but where are you going on holiday?
After work there was a work BBQ for my H's team which was fun. Everyone knows now as someone made a poster with a cartoon of a baby and H's head stuck on it and plastered them all over his faculty! There were other preggers ladies so had lots to talk about!
When I got home I had the challenge to find an interview outfit. Finding something that a) fits, b) is comfy & c) was suitable for an interview was not easy! Luckily I had a couple of dresses at the back of my wardrobe from my bigger days so i am in one of them!
Lots of vibes for todays scans!!
12/06/2013 at 10:18
I'm going to Cyprus. It's 30 degrees out there right now. I can't wait.
Sounds like your H's team had fun sharing your news, Mrs Bass! What time is your interview today?
12/06/2013 at 10:27
