Aren't mat trousers just the most comfy things ever?!
I'm feeling brighter after the horrible day yesterday. The bereavement midwife phoned late yesterday and had offered to try and make sure things are smoother going forward, and that I can hopefully see the consultant.
13 days until scan.

Morning Monnie, how exciting that you're now in your maternity trousers! How is your dog today?
I was out last night for a birthday dinner. Tired.com today. The wine was flowing and the smell of it was making me feel quite sick. I swear wine never used to stink so much!
Hi to all who follow, hope everyone is well x
13/11/2013 at 08:50
Missed you Imp, too quick! I'm so glad that you have the bereavement MW on your side, I hope she helps xx
13/11/2013 at 08:56
Ha fig, wine does stink right now.
As you know my sense of smell is going mad and I can smell all sorts if random things, so wine would push me right over the edge I think!
13/11/2013 at 08:58
IMP- im glad your getting better support now, and less than 2 weeks for the scan yay!!
Fig- wine stinks doesnt it, it smells really acidic to me now! honey is alright her breathing is 100% better but shes still a bit groggy in herself, im sure shes playing on it a bit now though, but grandma is spending the day with her so she will get spoilt rotten!
13/11/2013 at 09:06
You're all making me feel sick talking about wine :-( Lol!
Monnie - Yay to the trousers! Where did you get them from? I bet there isn't much selection about!
Imp - Glad you are feeling better. I'm glad the midwife phoned you, hopefully it reassured you slightly about how things will be moving forward. How far will you be at your scan in 13 days?
Figaro - Do you think you raised any suspicion by not joining in on the wine? Me & H have a night out planned with other couples in a couple of weeks. I'm torn between going and trying to pretend I'm drinking when I'm not, or making an excuse to not go. In normal instances I'd go and just pretend to drink or similar, but this group are big for shots and I'm worried I'll get myself into an awkward situation.
As for me. Not a lot to report... really tired today, didn't go to bed until 10.20pm (fell straight asleep!) so think its having a knock on effect this morning. Can't wait to get home and into bed!

iv got a pair from next and a pair from new look
and my maternity jeans are from next aswell
13/11/2013 at 09:11
Hi pep, I think I'll be about 7+5 by then. I hope that's what the scan shows anyway, I'm blooming terrified.
If it was me in your situation I'd make my excuses and not go out. I'm normally the one instigating shots etc so there no way I could get away with it.
13/11/2013 at 09:12
The next trousers are amazing, like wearing yoga pants for work.
13/11/2013 at 09:13
Glad Honey is doing much better Mon.
Pep, I lied and said I'd been really poorly last week and that I still didn't feel 100% so wasn't drinking. I did keep getting offered a glass throughout the night, but I don't think anyone was overly suspicious.
Imp, ha! I'd forgotten about your bloodhound nose lol x
13/11/2013 at 09:21
Imp - I think its understandable to be terrified. Try to keep positive though, everything so far implies everything is fine and you should try to focus on that. Easier said than done I know! Ah, you sound like my kind of person... I'm also a shot instigator, so very suspicious if I'm not forcing people to do 394873 shots! Think I will cancel. Just need a valid excuse now.
Figaro - I thought of doing that, but I drove on our last night out because I couldn't be bothered having a hangover. So I'm just nervous that making up a non-drinking excuse will make them raise their eyebrows, as it will be two consecutive nights out that I've not drank alcohol... which is unheard of!
13/11/2013 at 10:10
I think in that case Pep you're better off cancelling, just make sure it's a good excuse. All this lying is so tricky, I'm sure my lies are catching up with me already!
13/11/2013 at 10:25
Yes, need to get my thinking cap on for a good excuse! Hmmmmm!
13/11/2013 at 11:59
My computer's being a div so struggling with personals til I catch up on my phone. Hope everyone is well.
I have proper red mist today (and did yesterday too haha), someone at work is annoying me so much that everytime she opens her mouth I want to put my fist in it. I'm sure this isn't pregnancy related but I'm sure that the hormones arent helping! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
13/11/2013 at 12:24
your facebook status made me laugh yesterday VT haha!
13/11/2013 at 12:32
Hahaha! Honestly, I am such an angry person!
13/11/2013 at 12:41
Hope you're all well!
I'm having a bit of a tough week pregnancy wise - Sickness seems to be back, which is always fun, but I also had really bad chest pains on Monday. so much so it scared me a little. It was painful to take deep breaths and just hurt. I also cried about 12 times. I googled 11 weeks tight chest and it said it can happen due to change in hormones, which would also explain the crying, but it was still pretty horrible. I've decided to use my last day Annual Leave on Monday so I can have a break. We've had my step daughter extra because her mum doesnt want her (already have her 50:50) and that plus working full time is just taking its toll. I just need a proper day of rest i think
13/11/2013 at 12:55
Wow, 2 pages already! Makes it difficult to properly do personals, but I'm glad to hear honey is doing better, Monnie, and that you've got the bereavement midwife to support you, Imp. And as for wine stinking, I've been suffering from the sniffles all pregnancy, so not had the strong smells to deal with, but a single sip of champagne during speeches at a wedding last weekend turned my stomach. I normally love the stuff :(
I, too, and in mat jeans today. They arrived yesterday, just demi-panel gap jeans, but they are the worlds most comfy things ever, I think I accidentally ordered a size larger than I needed, but I'm normally on the bigger side of the 14-16 spectrum and erred on the side of caution. I don't technically need to wear them yet, as my normal jeans still fit, but I couldn't help myself, they were just too comfy!
How is everyone doing with the attempt to eat healthy? I have to admit that today was the third day in a row I had beans and cheese on toast for lunch. 5 a day? What 5 a day?
Imp - glad you are getting the support you need :)
I am starting to feel so tired! Have discovered the later on in the day it gets the more tired and more sick I feel :( Made the mistake of doing the food shop after work last night and nearly threw up in Aldi! Think I will change to online shopping or doing it in the mornings at the weekend for a little while. Also the chilled food aisles smelt awful to me!
