Morning all! Hope nobody minds me statrting this - I couldn't see another.
I've been MIA on here for the last two days thanks to work's internet connection being down, hope I haven't missed anything important!
I'm feeling pretty sprightly this week apart from the desperate need to be in bed by 9pm. Time seems to be dragging to the first scan - people are enjoying winding me up that there's two in there - Spikey I think we have the same scan date, is yours 18th November?
Hello to all who follow!

Well our early scan this morning was very positive :) Baby had a little heartbeat and everything. They have put me slightly ahead at 7+6 so new due date of 19th June. 12 week scan should be in the 1st week of December, excited!
Was amazing to see, they think the bleeding I have had it just one of those things and nothing to overly worry about but to keep an eye on it!
We have decided to tell our parents now that we have a picture of show, all be it only of a little bean!

Aww Vix that's so lovely :) I bet you can't wait to tell the parents

morning ladies, iv just got back into work from the hospital. iv had my diebetes consultant appt this morning and all is perfect ! but i have gained 1 lb :-( i was hoping to get through the 1st tri without any weight gain !
VT- give in to it and get your rest !!!
Vix- congrats hun, its amazing isnt it !
im counting down the days now 13 days until my scan !

VT- I was in bed for 9.30 last night and fell straight to sleep. Yawn! Not long until your scan, exciting.
Vix- So glad to hear that everything was ok at your scan.
Mon- Not long until your scan either. Sorry about the lb, but 1lb isn't bad considering you're 11 weeks.
AFM- I am stillworried sick that there isn't going to be a baby in there. I really just want to know that and then I can move onto worrying about the next thing.
Got an appt with the consultant next week and I'm hoping that she'll book my early scan then, so not that long to wait but it feels as though time is dragging!

Hi ladies. Sorry for no personals as I'm on my phone.
I've not been on here much for a couple of reasons. First being that I'm still thinking fairly negatively about the pregnancy and feel that I don't want to get too excited at this stage incase of a disappointment. Also by the time I get home at night everybody is away and I'd be talking to myself lol.
AFM - I pretty much feel nothing apart from the sore boobs that come and go with pain intensity. Slight nausea at times but not every day. I'm worried because of my mmc previously that there is nothing there again. I've got my booking appointment with the MW a week on Friday then I hope to get an early scan the week beginning 25th November.
Hope everyone is ok xx

VT, I'm having very early nights too.
Monnie, 1lb is nothing! And at 11 weeks you're almost through the first tri anyway - exciting!!
Vix, so glad your scan went well, enjoy telling your parents!
Imp, so pleased that you finally got an appointment with your consultant.
AFM, feeling sick, sick, sick. It started yesterday when apparently baby did not appreciate the microwave curry I had for lunch. Been feeling rotten ever since. I haven't actually been sick, but constantly feel as though I could any second. The feeling gets worse whenever I eat or drink anything. I'm glad as it's a good symptom pg-wise, but I still feel horrid. Urgh.

Missed you there CA. Glad you have your booking in appointment sorted already. My early scan is on Saturday 30th Nov - w/c 25th will be a good week for early scans, you'll see xx

Thank you everyone! Very excited to finally be able to tell our families!
Monnie - 1lb gain is nothing! I have been putting on a 1lb a week since I found out! Might be all the biscuits I am eating though!
Imp - Glad you finally got your appointment!
*Figaro* - I have been super nauseous the past few days, not actually sick, but on the verge of it most of the time! Ginger biscuits, Hula Hoops and jelly are the only things that seem 'ok'!

VT, 18 Nov isn't far away! Mine's the 15th, though, and it's dragging, too. Soon, though, soon!
Vix, congrats on the scan results!
Monnie, your weight fluctuates several lbs a day, so unless you've seen a sustained gain, 1 lb actually IS nothing.
Imp, try not to worry too much... CA, same goes for you!
Figaro, sickness is a good sign, so they say. Whenever I felt nausea, I found chocolate milk the best thing ever.. But I think everyone is different.
Not much to report for me, heading back to London with Wispa tomorrow, booking in on Friday, scan next Friday, and things are moving along with the house. Apparently the chain is complete, but I don't know what that means in terms of how quickly things will go forward.

I've not been around for a few days as been rushing around and mostly sleeping.
Had my scan last Friday and all was well, the baby was hiding though - apparently my womb tilts backwards so he/she was further away than the sonographer would have liked. After lots of jumping and bashing around she finally got her measurements and I was 12 weeks exactly - so a week behind on my dates but 3 days sooner than my early scan dates.
I've been really impatient and booked another private scan on 30th November as I'll be 16 weeks and they will attempt to sex the baby! So excited!! This is going to sound awful but I could really tell the difference from the NHS and Private scan, the private lady was so so lovely and NHS I felt like an inconvenience because little one was misbehaving.
Sorry just a quick update on my phone so not time for personals - hope you are all having a good day!

VT - glad you're feeling good, even if you are tired too. Yep, my scan is on the 18th too, I can't wait and it's going soooo slowly.
Vix, big yay for everything being good at the scan, you must be so relieved.
Monnie, 1lb is fantastic, I'd be very chuffed! Glad everything is looking ok diabetes wise.
Imp, yay for finally getting a cons appt, hopefully you'll have a scan date soon too.
CA - I'd say try not to worry but it's about as possible as saying try not to breathe. Glad you've got your booking in sorted, and it's not too long till your scan which will hopefully be very reassuring.
Figaro, I sympathise on the sickness, I really do!
Wispa, woo for the house, I hope it completes nice and early for you. Not long till your scan now either. :-)
SS - Yay for everything being well at the scan. I'm debating a 16 week gender scan too - I'm waiting to see what dates they give me at the 12 week scan as there's Christmas and New Year between the 12 and 20 so it may prove not worth while (as in I wouldn't bother at 18 1/2 weeks for example, just wait the extra.) Do you have a preference?
AFM, definitely picking up on the sickness front, I'm still feeling a little bit sick but not like I'm going to vomit any second which is such a nice change! Other than being ridiculously tired (combo of pregnancy and early wake ups from J, 5.45am this morning, yawn) and worrying that everyone is staring at my huge stomach (actually I don't know why I'm worrying about this - it doesn't really matter if everyone knows as long as everything's ok at the 12 week scan) then I'm feeling good. :-)

Spikey, your 20 wk scan scan be booked for as early as 18 weeks in case you're getting impatient! As it stands, we aren't coming back to Paris until late Jan maybe even Feb, but I plan to fib a little so I can get my scan the first week of January. ;). I really am impatient and I NEED to know the sex. I do have a preference, and find I'm imagining life with a little baby girl without even realising it, so I want to be able to get used to he idea of a boy, iykwim. I know everyone says if you don't find out then you'll be happy no matter what you get, but it would still come as a shock based on how stupidly 'sure' I am that it's a girl!
