Thought i's start the thread as I cant sleep. Staying at in laws on our holiday (they are away cruising the med) and this mattress is way too hard! I've got sore legs too so not doing well with getting sleep!
Announced pregnancy to everyone yesterday (only very few friends knew) so lots of surprised people but happy ones. Mil doesn't know though as they are uncontactable by phone so we e-mailed.
Not sure what our plans are today, will wait and see how the weather is. Very excited as my pester baby is due this week so I may need to do some more shopping!

Morning is there room for a little one?
I got my bfp on Sunday night, it's my first and all being well I'm due 25th march so very early days at 4+1!
I came off the poll in march after my dad unfortunately died suddenly and we decided life was to short and to just go for it. H is in the Raf and just left for 4 months, we knew it was a possibility and thought that it would mean he's at home for longer once the baby arrives so I'm fine with that and we can Skype every day - he should be back for the 20 week scan!
I'm 29 h is 31 and we live in Northumberland, I'm feeling a little bit sick already but I'm not sure if its psychosomatic, the shock it actual morning sickness!
Hope everyone is ok, CK congrats on number 3 hope you get some sleep soon xxx

Morning! Posting early today as I'm off to work today.
CK - congratulations on your BFP! I hope your pester baby comes soon, so you can shop.
Grid - Congratulations on your BFP too! That's good news that your H will make it back for the 20 week scan.
AFM - my son graduated from nursery yesterday and I might have blurbed like a baby - bleeding hormones! - I've also got my MIL down for a few days, which is nice. Someone at work has really done my nut in, and I'm not looking forward to going in today and working with her. She's being a right drama queen because she's leaving next week. From what I've heard of some of things she's been doing, it's going to be a long day keeping a lid on my hormones. To date I've never had a bust up at work, but I'm not so sure today.... I think I'd rather drink tea in the garden. cK, fancy swapping for the day?!?!

Posted late last night for first time, I got my BFP on Sunday and am 4+2, due 24th march so almost due date buddies Grif. For those that don't know me this is baby no2, I already have a 3 year old and had a mmc last October which was discovered at the 12 week scan so to say I'm bricking it now is an understatement. Got an early scan on *16th august which can't come quick enough!
CK morning, hope you are having a nice time away, did you have your scan up there?? Sorry to hear you can't sleep.
Grif, that's great that H will be back for 20 week scan. I also understand the "life is too short" feeling, we started ttc#1 when we found out my dad had cancer. Congrats again on the BFP
MrsDee, hope work is easier than you expect today! How lovely about your son graduating, how old is he?
17/07/2013 at 07:53
WE - congrats on your BFP! FC for a good early scan on the 16th.
My son is 4, he'll be 4.5 when he starts school in September.

Busy on here already :)
CK - Glad you have been able to share your lovely news.
Grif - Nice to see you, hope you are doing ok.
MrsDee - They have graduations from nursery's now? Good luck with the work situation as well.
WE - Welcome! You have come to the right place, we are all bricking it here!!
AFM - Spoke to my GP last night, he didn't seem concerned about the spotting, said to keep an eye on it and contact again if it gets worse. It seems to have stopped now so all good! My clothes are all getting pretty tight, surely its too early for mat clothes?!

CK, hope you get some rest today, that's a very early start! I love seeing fb announcements :D
Grif, welcome! Sorry to hear about your Dad, life is indeed too short.
MrsDee, hope work is ok. My son has his graduation from preschool today!
Weekender, I'm similar to you. My son is 4 in a few weeks and I've also had a mmc. I have an early scan on Friday. Just trying to remember everything pregnancy is different :)
MrsV, glad the GP isn't concerned. All being well on Friday I'll be shopping for sme maternity bits as my bottoms are so tight already!
Afm, still tired lol got Jude's preschool graduation this morning then he's going to FILs for the afternoon and from tomorrow afternoon he's stopping at my mums so a quiet weekend here. I'm just on countdown for my scan on Friday tbh, after that hopefully normal service will be resumed.
17/07/2013 at 09:43
Thanks for the welcome MrsV
Isis, how far along are you? Ill be 8+4 when I get my scan and it seems really far along
17/07/2013 at 10:29
Welcome and congrats to the newbies
I'm shattered today. Both children were in out bed last night. L was fringing his teeth and wrapping himself round me all night. Felt like I was cooking.
I'm lazing on the sofa in work just now. Did a workout already and it's wiped me out. I finish at 1 and heading home to cut the grass then back to work for A's martial art class. Going to be a long day!

I'll be 7+6 on Friday, thing is they don't want to scan you too early as you might not see anything. My friend is at pretty much at the same stage and 2 weeks ago she had an inconclusive scan and I think the wait has been worse for her.
LR, you're my new hero!
17/07/2013 at 10:46
Yet another newby! Started writing a bit of an introduction but it sounded like some sort of internet dating profile so gave up!
Just conceived 1st baby, got my BFP on Friday and am 4 +1 ( by my calculations!) and according to FF I am due March 25th.
Have a real mixture of feelings from disbelief to excitement to absolute terror something is going to go wrong, so reckon I will be asking for lots of hand holding and will no.doubts have loads of ridiculous questions.
Seem to have been hit by the tired stick today, not sure if its pregnancy or the heat though.
Sorry for the lack of personals grabbing 5 mins on my phone while at work.
17/07/2013 at 12:26
Welcome Pink Panther and congrats. Sounds like what you are feeling is totally normal. Try to grab as much sleep as you can!
Isis you flatter! Haha I'm just so paranoid about being huge again. I put on 4-5 stone with my first, mostly fluid but still. I felt awful and nothing, even shoes fitted me. I put on about 2.5 stone second time so I'm aiming for that again. I do a lot of exercise because my H and I own a gym and I get to eat pretty much what I want when keeping up the exercise. I don't want to change that! I like chocolate too much haha
Today ok did a 30 min Kettlebell session then 3 pregnancy work outs I found on YouTube, each 10 mins. So it's not like I've been doing stuff all day. Most if the morning is spent cleaning dirty changing room! Yuck yuck yuck!!

Thanks CK - I'm feeling OK - a little tired and I think sick but not too bad. The whole thing with Dad has hit me really hard but I've got my family and we're being strong for Mum too. It is tough as he would have been a fab grandad!
Mrs Dee congratulations on your sons nursery graduation, how cute! Sorry about the annoying woman, at least she's leaving soon.
Weekender so exciting you, me and pinkpanther are so close! Sorry to hear about your Dad - it's rubbsih growing up!
Mrs V nice to see you again too. Glad the spotting doesn't seem to be concerning the GP, to be honest my stomach is so bloated I think I could be in mat clothes already!
Isis have fun at the grdualtion and good luck for Friday
LR you are so good working out - hope the day goes quickly and you get chance to relax at some point.
PP hello date twin! How spooky is that, I'm with you on the tired thing can barely keep my eyes open today.
I am absolutely petrified too, H always says I'm such a pessimist but I prefer realist! I went on for ages about how it would probably take ages to get pregnant and it might not happen bla blah - showed me didn't it!c Even now I am panicking about the 12 week scan and finding a mmc or bleeding. Think I know too many people who have had issues and read too much on here. Going to try and relax a bit though and enjoy the experience.
17/07/2013 at 14:47
Sorry quick message by phone so can't do personals. Glad all is well Mrs V.

Hello everyone, I'm a bit of a lurker but as I'm 10+1 thought it was about time I poked my head in properly! I'm wilting in the heat today (as I expect we all are!) but my MS seems to have stopped which I'm hoping is a good sign. Utterly exhausted though, roll on Friday 4pm!!! Hope you feel better soon NLH, it's horrible feeling so unwell :-(
17/07/2013 at 21:04
