Morning ladies, hope you dont mind me starting the thread this morning.
I've been having a bit of bleeding again. It's only really been when wiping but has obviously set the worry wheels in motion. Looks like I'm going to have to give my MW a call later. At the hospital last week they said if it happens again then I must get my cervix checked. Wished they'd done that there and then to be honest! After a nice easy pregnancy last time it looks like I might be in for a complicated one this time, doesn't it.
Sorry for the downer, just feeling a bit stressed out by it all.
Hope everyone else is well. Great news yesterday Browny.

Morning WG - completely understand your worry. Please do give your MW a call and push to get your cervix checked. Will have everything crossed for you and baby. Keep us posted on how you get on xxx
AFM - Sorry I've not been around much recently....we didn't have the smoothest of moves, I've a abnormally clingy 2 year old (who I just found out may have slapped cheek so that'd explain a lot) and we've still no Internet here as yet because the nobs who lived here before still have an active phone line until tomorrow! Anyway, enough moaning...on a positive the new house is lovely, neighbours have young children and seem friendly, and baby has been super active (probably telling me to sit down and take it easy!)
Hi to all who follow. ...hugest of congrats to Browny on her fab scan yesterday

WG - sorry to hear you have had more bleeding. Yes definitely get it checked out. I hope its 'just one of those things'. Let us know what the MW says and how you get on. Don't apologise you must be worried and stressed and its completely understandable.
Coco - sorry to hear things have been stressful for you. And poor O I hope he gets better soon! At least you are in and can get sorted as and when. The hardest part is over!
AFM - got a few busy days ahead. Got friends coming thurs eve - Saturday morning so I have to go shopping to get food in (I may try and order it online if I have the patience!) and they bring with them their 1.5-year old daughter (our goddaughter) who is now walking and I will need to clear the downstairs entirely so its safe for her. It's currently covered in boxes, bubble wrap and bits and bobs I haven't had a box to pack in yet! And clean!! Then tomorrow I have physio in the morning and meeting old work friends for dinner. I'm tired just thinking about it!
And after my scan the reality is slowly kicking in. I'm panicking how my stomach is going to stretch to accommodate a baby when it already seems like it can't stretch anymore! I can feel it stretching sometimes and its so sore! And then there is labour which I haven't allowed myself to think about yet.
Also, my H got offered a contract yesterday, which is up north, so easier to get to than his previous/current place (they've had him back after cancelling his contract for 3 weeks further work and have decided they might be able to offer him a bit more work, maybe a couple of months!) so now H is in a pickle about what to do. Its all go in the Browny household! X

I thought I'd come and dip my toe into 2nd tri! I didn't think I'd ever get here, always seemed so far away!
WG - As the others have said, do call the MW and get checked. I hope it is just one of those things, I'll keep everything crossed for you.
Coco - I hope your little one is feeling better soon. Sorry to hear the move didn't go smoothly, in a few days things will be sorted and you can start to enjoy it :)
Browny - Enjoy your weekend, it sounds very busy! Take it easy and rest whilst you can.
AFM - A few aches and pains from time to time, which is probably just stretching. I had a full on day at work yesterday and I can feel it today! We're going away for a few days over Easter which will be great. A chance to relax and catch up with friends.

Coco - oh poor O, I've no experience of slapped cheek, are they quite poorly with it? I'm glad you're enjoying the new house, it makes all the difference when the neighbours are nice too!
Browny - wow you have got a busy few days ahead! Enjoy spending time with your goddaughter. I always find having guests over quite hard work, especially all the cleaning afterwards!
Boo - a weekend away sounds lovely, enjoy. It's probably just stretching pains you're experiencing, as you say, but take it easy anyway.
PP - I didn't realise they did smears when pregnant. Was that because of your bleeding? Has yours settled down now?
Well I've left a message for my MW to call. I've also found out that the only female doctor at the surgery is in tomorrow morning so, depending on what the MW says, I'm going to speak to her tomorrow. The hospital said the GP would need to check the cervix. It's so confusing as to who can do what! In other news, I'm having my nails done later. They're in a right state as I had to cancel my appoinment last week due to LO being poorly.

Welcome boo! Great to see you over here. Hope you have a lovely Easter break :)
PP - no we didn't find out so we are team yellow :) you've done well to last this long before wearing maternity clothes!
WG - hope the MW gets back to you soon x

WG - Really hope you can get in and see a GP asap and that the mw returns your call soon. Waiting must be horrible but hopefully checking your cervix will clear up any worry. I'm sure baby is fine but lots of hugs from me xx
Coco - oh poor O! Not what you want with a house move on top. Sounds like the neighbours are nice though and once you're settled and O's better the nightmare move will be but a distant memory.
Browny - oh gawd that all sounds busy busy! Hope you don't have to do too much box moving today, can you try and squeeze it all in back room somewhere? Can your H start the contract up north a bit later on or does he have to decide soon? Certainly is all go round yours!
Boo - welcome to 2nd tri! Stretching is all normal and I think the aches and pains just become more frequent sadly haha. Hope you have a lovely time off over Easter, you off anywhere nice?
PP - maternity clothes are like heaven aren't they? I stretched my normal clothes out til 16 weeks as a friend was giving me loads and when I made the change it was fab!
AFM - the offer we put in on the house has been accepted!!! We have our formal mortgage meeting next Wednesday so hopefully things will get moving now! The house is empty and we are no chain so fx we will be in with enough time before baby comes! H is already getting anxious haha. Bean is kicking loads these days and H has felt a couple more. Only seems to work if they are low enough due to the placenta but he's getting so excited and it's so lovely to see. Getting more convinced it's a blue one for some reason... only 15/17 weeks left til we know! AAAHHHH!!

PP - yay for maternity clothes! Im hunting out trousers atm as my usual ones are getting really uncomfortable. I'm going up north for a few days, I lived up there with H for 7 years and only moved back south last year, so it will be great to catch up with friends.
WG - Hope ghe MW gets back to you soon if she hasn't already. Enioy getting your nails done!
Jonesy - great news about the house! I find it really heart warming when H gets excited about the baby. He doesnt show emotions very often so its lovely to see. So exciting to feel bean! I'm looking forward to that stage :)
