been awake for hours, can't get back to sleep. Was totally knackered yesterday after doing my jobs so I cheated and took the car to be hoovered out at the car wash . nothing planned really for today, taking Isaac to the park on his scooter but otherwise bit of a lazy day here. Iv a load of clothes coming from h&m (ordered ages ago!) and still no sign so need to chase that up.
if anyone near an aldi then the baby even starts tomorrow, we don't need anything but theres some good prices.
Baby girl wise nothing much going on L seems a bit bump obsessed atm and keeps chatting away, last night was full commentary of the Argentina game and then an update of what stickers he needs from his football book lol.

TRF-well done for the cheat. I only slept 5 hrs and got back to back meetings Im chairing all day, so I can empathise on the tiredness! Bless L, how cute!

Rf that's really cute of L! Enjoy your lazy day. We don't really need anything, but might try pop into aldi at the weekend as our nearest ones in town. I find it hard to resist a bargain!
Rio hope your meetings aren't too bad today and I hope its cool in your office!
Not much to report. 25 weeks today, so only going to be pregnant for a Max of 17 weeks now if everything goes fine even if I'm overdue. I'm doing a reverse countdown, as I'm finding it helps me focus on the end rather than worry about in between! Going back to work today after 2 days off with a cold. Head still hurts but I'm hoping that the children will be quiet and might be nice!? Then again it is reception this adternoon with music!

I thought the problems sleeping weren't supposed to hit until 3rd Tri, but I notice there's a few of us struggling on that front already!
RF - is it bad that we never actually clean our cars ourselves? Lol. Sounds like you've a nice day planned, we sunshine here so hopefully you to too.
Rio - sorry to here you've not had a great night, I hope your meetings don't drag so that you can soon get home again.
Bunny - 17 weeks really doesn't seem that far away does it? Hope the children are kind to your head today!
AFM, not sure if anyone saw my reply yesterday but basically the MW wanted the doctor to see me because I've been generally feeling so unwell. He's given me antibiotics (think I'll soon be immune to them at the rate I'm going!) as he thinks a lot of the problem is my sinuses. So fingers crossed they soon start kicking in, I've forgotten what it feels like to feel well. I've honestly never been to the doctors so much as I have done these last few months! Baby wise everything fine, F is at nursery today so I might start on the packing. I usually like to clean the house top to bottom before going away but not this time!

Rio - sounds like a long day
Bunny - hope work goes ok
WG - hopefully the abs work
I'm off to gp, my headaches have worsened and Iv got blurred vision in my right eye occasionally, I'm going to get a taxi to drs as I'd worry it would go blurry driving. My h is uncontactable, I have literally bollocked his secretary and told her to get him now, maybe not as politely as that! [woe is me] I'm never ill in pregnancy (apart from the bleeding) but usually I'm fine so of course Iv convinced myself its PE, even though I checked my urine and blood pressure the other day when the headaches started. Typically today is the day that Isaac is vvvv lively, no friends are about and the cm isn't able to have him, so he's having to come with me, he's watching tv ATM [bad mummy] whilst I lie on sofa with sun glasses on

Morning ladies, I guess it's time and ventured and joined you all here...
TRF - sounds like a lovely day ahead.
Rio - rubbish about the sleep last night. Hope you get a decent sleep tonight.
Bunny - oooh, reception class and music - hope they are nice to you. Countdown sounds a good way to go about things I reckon.
WG - sorry to hear you've not been doing well. A break sounds like it's needed. Where are you off to?
AFM - after weeks of M being really unsettled at night, the last 2 nights have been a return of her sleeping through. Which has meant lots more sleep for me, making me very happy! Fingers crossed it stays this way. 13+4

RF - what time is your appointment? I hope you can reach H soon. I've been having discussions with my H about making sure he's contactable at all times! Doesn't sink in though. Do let us know how you get on x
Sapphire - we're off to Cornwall. We love it down there, almost feels like our second home! This will be the 6th year running that we've been. Great news on the sleep front, lets hope it continues and you can keep on having a full night's sleep :-)

I'm back. My Bp and urine are fine she did full neuro check too, said it sounds very migrane like which it does, have been offered co-coda mil in the short term but co-coda mil not advised with headaches anymore so I don't want to make it worse iyswim.
Iv told h not to come home as what's the point, was just worried incase they sent me to hospital but gp not concerned. I'm hoping it settles soon :-(
02/07/2014 at 11:43
Oh RF, so pleased it's nothing to worry about. Migraines are the pits though so I really do feel for you. I'm guessing paracetamol hasn't touched the headache?
02/07/2014 at 11:57
No 4 hourly paracetamol since Saturday! Need some proper hard drugs
02/07/2014 at 15:35
It's awful not being able to take something with a bit of a kick in. If the headaches continue I can definitely recommend acupuncture. That was the only thing that god rid of my dreadful headaches in first tri x
02/07/2014 at 16:08
Thanks WG, I'm not a complementary medicine type person, give me all drugs available but il look into it if no improvement. Have had a nap and its not as sore x
02/07/2014 at 17:05
WG I hope that the antibiotics do the trick for you this time. Cornwall sounds lovely, especially if the weather is this nice.
Rf glad that the gp wasn't concerned, but migraines are horrid things. Hope you find some drugs that you can take that work!
Sapphire yay to sleep! Hope it continues.
Children weren't too bad with the instruments. Sat at home with an ice lolly now as a treat!
