Hi poppy. Have a fab evening out tonight.
All good with me too. Nothing much to report baby wise. Still not felt any movement but still early days. Hope everyone has a great day x

Poppyseed - Jealous! I really want to feel some movement!
Mrs B - I keep lying really really still in the hope of feeling something. Nothing yet either
AFM - Nothing much to report, off out for tea tonight with an old work friend. Having Pizza, can't wait!
22/05/2013 at 08:51
PS - Have fun tonight!
MrsB - I'm sure you'll get your wriggles soon :)
LP - pizza sounds yum, have fun.
AFM - Not sure if anyone saw my update on yesterday's thread, it was late by the time I got back on. Baby Pops is all good :) Was laying in a funny position at first so the sonographer got me to stand up and jump up and down for a few minutes to encourage it to move, I thought he was kidding! Not my best look, over bump jeans round my bum and top pulled up to avoid jelly but it did the trick! Baby then did some serious posing for the photo, legs akimbo and arms behind head, was so funny. We didn't find out the sex, decided to keep it a surprise. Went off to Lakeside for a nose round kiddicare, m&p and mothercare which was fun.
Today woke up with MS back again and feel rubbish so currently chewing slowly on a salty pretzel. Been awake since 4am again and am shattered. Too much excitement yesterday I think!
Hi to all that follow, have a good day x

PS- Have a great night tonight. I know exactly what you mean about turning in early. I can barely keep my eyes open past 9pm any more! Hope you have a good night.
MrsB- I haven't felt any movement yet either and I am 17 weeks today. I thought I might have felt something yesterday but put it down to my mind playing tricks on me. Making a conscious effort to try to be more aware now.
AFM- Not a lot! Took the dog out for a walk yesterday evening, ate loads of home made chips and slobbed out on the sofa haha. Hoping for an easier day today as yesterday was hectic. Hope everyone has a great day.

MrsB its still only early but hopefully you'll start feeling things soon
LP enjoy your pizza tonight
Popcorn glad the scan went well.
Luna good luck with the assignment
Sami yesterday sounds ideal, hope you have another easy day
Twink hope the pain doesn't last too long
AFM had a lovely meal out for my friends 30th last night. Only got two hours sleep though as my mind was thinking of a million things. And every time I shuffled about my back was in agony. Decided I'm going to give in and get a gp appointment about my sciatica. It's definately getting worse and there's no way I can manage like this with a toddler for another 20 weeks
I know there's a few others with back problems at the moment- what did your gp say? Did you get a referral? Did you have to really push for a referral. I always seem to get fobbed off when I visit the gp so dont know if I need to be prepared to really push to get seen by a specialist?

Poppy seeds enjoy the baby movements
Mrsb sure you will feel something in next few weeks
Lp enjoy your pizza
Popcorn glad scan went well! Boo to ms!
Luna I know how you feel re the assignment, I only finished my Msc degree last month, hope you get some more done today
Sam hope you have a less hectic day
Twink ouch to the trapped nerve!
Jelly tot I seem to have developed sciatica this last couple of weeks...my gp has signed me off for two weeks as I have a very active job. Referral to physio, although they will prob fit me with a bump band which I already have. Unfortunately there is no quick fix so I don't think it's being fobbed off just more there's nothing you can actually do till baby is here and pressure is relieved. I feel for you, the pain is awful. I went swimming last night which helped abit?!
22/05/2013 at 10:17
Oh forgot about me....nothing much to report. Still bored off work. H is painting our bedroom for a freshen up before baby comes. We're hoping to sell our house after my mat leave so were trying to keep it looking fresh.
22/05/2013 at 10:24
JT- Definitely book in to see your GP again. It would be hard enough to keep struggling on as it is but must be near impossible with a toddler too. I didn't have a good nights sleep either. Usually have no problem falling to sleep but every time I turned over I struggled to get back to sleep! I had a dream that I sat on a little fair ride and thought it was just like a train but it was a rollercoasted and I nearly fell out. I got off shouting that I was 16 weeks pregnant and acted like a crazy lady!
22/05/2013 at 10:32
Duck ford- our local pool does aqua natal on a Friday night so I'm thinking of starting that as it helped last time. Let me know how your physio goes
Sami- your dream made me life, sounds like the kind of dreams I have! I've definately been having a lot more dreams since pregnant
22/05/2013 at 10:37
I usually have very strange random dreams anyway but all my dreams seem to be me acting crazy about being pregnant at the minute. I promise I'm not like that at all in real life! haha.

Morning all, at work and busy will come back later for personals, quick Q though, when did you all get your matb1 forms? I thought it was around 24 weeks but I don't see my me again until 28w so need to call her but don't want to prematurely.
22/05/2013 at 11:18
*Luna is currently drifting into madness where she actually believes her fingers are becoming more stumpy and if she ever sees the words type 2 diabetes mellitus again she may have to shoot herself*
22/05/2013 at 11:36
BG- I don't have my MATb1 form yet but heard it was around 24 weeks too. Also, am I right in thinking you get your full years holiday entitlement even thought I will obviously be on maternity leave from October? So I can still take my full entitlement before then so it isn't lost? As you can see I haven't thought very much about any of this yet so it's all completely new!
Luna- I think you have gone completely bonkers :)
Nice surprise that H is meeting me for lunch today so going to the pub for some scrummy food!
22/05/2013 at 11:58
I'm not sure if you can take it ahead of mat leave, but can definitely tag it on to the end. Don't forget you also get 8 extra days to cover bank hols for the year.
