Morning ladies, I hope everyone is well today!!
H felt lots more kicks last night which is great! Baby seems to go crazy when H has his hand on my bump! must like the attention!
Those of you team yellow, have you found yourselves refering to your baby as him or her more than the other. We keep saying him/his/he! Even though H is convinced that we are having a girl!!!

MRs B - i have always said we are having a girl, however since my twleve weeks scan i just keep reffering it to a boy now, i try to not reffer to it as a he or she at the min and just call it "baby"
hope you aer all ok, i am 16 weeks on friday and really huge, got consultants tomorrow, i've tried to start weaning myself off the anti sickness drugs, was sick yesterday but today i have been ok so far, i think i will be able to manage if its a few days now and again but if it comes back how it was last time then im in trouble! fingers crossed!

Mrs B wee-weeme does exactly the same whenever H comes close - like she is performing!
NLH - fingers crossed with the tablets
AFM - WFH today which is nice - and I'll get loads more done - and expecting a delivery of some more elasticated work clothes :o)

I'm team yellow (not going to find out) and in my head when I think about the baby it's a boy.
Saying him/he is nicer than it though isn't it?
I'm 18 weeks today, totally flying by. Still haven't told my children yet but really need to get a move on now. Will probably tell them on Saturday night I think when we are all home together.
Just done my kettlebell workout and some yoga, could go a nap now. Got some cleaning to do while the gym is quiet then lunchtime circuits. Need to nip out to get my friend a birthday present then get A from school. Home for a bit to walk dogs, homework and dinner then kids have their martial art class and I'm hoping there is space in boxing for me.
H is moaning at me to stop doing a few classes but I weighed myself yesterday and I'm disgusted :-(
Hope everyone has a good day x

NLH- fingers crossed the sickness stays away!
weemee- lucky you WFH. im not in thurs or fri but we have a dishwasher being delivered "fist thing" tomorrow so no lie in for me :-(
LR- sounds like you have a busy day! I havent been weighed since my 12 week scan, might get them to weigh me at my next appt!
The first few months i really thought we were having a girl but since the 20 week scan I now think its a boy! H says when he is thinking about the future, we have a little girl! Maybe just because He is shorter than she we've both adopted it! :-)

Tired after a busy day and 4yo joining us in bed at 5.30am, at least I got a few more zzz's but H is knackered too. Going up to my mils now, she loves babies so will be lots of baby talk lol
Nlh, I hope your appt goes well

Will try do personals later.
not much happening here, going to speech therapy with A this afternoon and thats about as exciting as its got. We just refer to baby as baby or lightning as its nicknamed. Will find out the sex when we can.

Mrs Bass - People will probably think you know what you are having! Must be nice that he/she is kicking lots.
NLH - Hope the sickness stays away. What is your consultants appointment for?
Weeme - Hope the clothes are nice. I'm struggling to find maternity work clothes that fit properly, I ordered some but think they are all going back again.
LR - Hopefully the weight gain will plateau out? You sound like you are doing all the right things.
Isis - Hope you get more sleep tonight.
AFM - Midwife yesterday was all good. Heard the heartbeat, although took a while to find which was a bit scary! Not seeing MW again until November which seems ages away. Got loads to do at work so need to get motivated to do it!

Mrs B I think your Team Blue!! I'm glad you and your H are feeling lots of movements.
NLH good luck with the sickness now. I hope your feeling better soon.
Weeme Im working from home today too. Hope the mat clothes are nice, I have to say, I've been far from blown away by what's in the shops!
LR I've posted you a link on your other thread. Also just seen your 16 week bump shot and you don't look like your put weight on, it's only just bump. You look good!
Isis that was an early start! Hope you have a good day.
CK thats an awesome nickname! Hope the speech therapy goes well. Is A at school now?
Mrs V glad you got to hear the heartbeat. I didn't tell the midwife yesterday that I had a doppler as she seemed so pleased to be letting me hear the HB which (technically!) would have been the first time for me as the other times I heard it were at the private scans or with out home doppler.
AFM I had such a bad sleep last night. Not sure why, but just kept waking and I also had one very active baby! He wriggled all night and I've felt him lots this morning, no idea whats going on! I'm hoping he'll be knacked tonight now and I'll get a great sleep!

Hope everyone is well.
Mrs B - That's cute the baby is performing for your H. I don't plan to find out the sex but I don't really like calling it 'it' so it's been changing between him and her. H is the same, he goes from saying him one minute to her the next. We need to just give it a nickname I think.
NLH - Hope the sickness stays away. It sounds miserable. Good luck with your appt tomorrow.
Weeme - I tend to get loads more done at home too. I really need to get some work clothes. I bought one skirt and have already worn it to death. It's sooo comfy though.
LR - It's all bump from your other thread. Your workout regime is really impressive. I'm in denial and refuse to weigh myself.
Isis - have a nice time at the MILs.
CK - Hope speech thearpy goes well.
Mrs V - Glad your mw appt went well.
MDD - Hope you manage to get some rest today.
AFM - I had a mw appt this morning and all was well. We heard the heartbeat which was lovely. I felt like the appointment really wasn't long enough. She allowed us 15 minutes (we were in there half an hour) and won't see us again now until 28 weeks which is ages away. I suppose there isn't really much to say at this stage if everything is going well so I'm just going to look forward to my next scan and hopefully some movements will happen soon.

Mrs V - appointment is just another check up, i have to see him and a neurologist every 4 weeks so far, ten got my doppler at 19 weeks and will see them again the day i have my 20 week scan
want to start asking if they have any clue about what their intentions/idear are about my birthing options!

Been out shopping all morning. Annoyed with Boots as they regular TENs machine in store but not labour ones. The staff kept directing me to a hire one but i'm certain there will be another baby after this - so is more economical to buy a TENs. Plus worried with all the sleep deprivation etc post birth i'm sure i'd forget to send it back!
Then a lady (with toddler & baby in tow) siddled up to me and said "try eBay, there are loads". She is right & some have new pads with them too. EBay it is then :-)
Also got my Grandma a picture frame for her birthday (just need to get pics of LO printed off now) and some other bits (xmas shopping, go me!!). Now i am flipping boiling (whats going on with the weather?) and tired!
MrsB - when we were team yellow I still referred to baby as him (or occasionally her) as i dont like saying "it". Sounds wrong!
NLH - hope the sickness doesnt return
Weeme - i never used to like WFH - colleagues used to ring me all the time. Grrr!
LR - I was appalled at how much weight i put on with #1, but this time i dont feel like eating / or feel full really quickly and i have now (at 24weeks) only put on 10lbs. H says i should "go with the flow". I was wondering about asking midwife about it tho (I know the eating for two thing is a myth!)
Isis - oh dear, i know the feeling, LO likes to join us in bed at random times of the night
CK - Hope speech therapy goes okay
MrsV - Am sure Nov will roll around quicker than you think, especially once you got various scans out of the way!
MDD - i'm sure my baby wriggles all night - whenever i wake up/get woken, he is wriggling!
LD - the midwife appointments just get shorter as they get more frequent!

I'm on my phone so I can't easily do personals, sorry! Jude keeps stealing the iPad lol
MIL showed me the stuff she has which includes used twice Moses basket, rainforest play mat and bits of clothes! She's crazy lol but will prove useful, I never had a
Moses basket with Jude but with a 4yo roaming around I think it might be handy downstairs.
