Morning everyone, hope you all slept well.
Not much to report. First day of the children back today. Will get to tell the rest of the staff about baby, then more planning, sorting and possibly assessing children before I work with them next week. Hopefully it will be an easyish day! And the sun is out!
23/04/2014 at 07:19
Bunny - enjoy telling the remaining people your news. I hope today is a nice easy day even with children back!
I was in bed by 8:30pm last night. Really not feeling well. I'm going to take F to nursery this morning then come home and go back to bed for a bit. I'm going to have to force myself not to do housework and the ironing as I need to put myself and the baby first. My mum told me I do too much!

Bunny - Enjoy telling everyone at work today. Hope the children let you have a nice easy day :-)
WG - Sorry you're feeling so rotten. Make the most of F being at nursery and get your head back down for a few hours. If you're feeling ropey the
N housework can wait...stick your feet up and listen to your body.
Peachy - welcome to 2nd tri :-) There is a great bunch of ladies here. When are you due? Hope you're doing well.
AFM - Not a lot to report baby wise tbh, but we're booking a 4d scan later for around 28 weeks. We decided to just take the plunge as we had one with O and would feel wrong not having one for "Pea" too. No further along with names just yet but suppose we have a good few weeks to decide. Otherwise just taking O to soft play today and having a chilled one as work Thu, Fri, Sat :'( Still....only 2 months of the grind til maternity leave :-)

Bunny - enjoy telling the rest of the staff!
WG - sorry you are feeling unwell today - housework can wait. You getting better is the priority.
Peachy - welcome! Tell us a bit about yourself.
Coco - we're finding names hard too. Lots of I time left I guess but doesn't feel like it! It's just a big decision/responsibility!
AFM - got quite a bit done yesterday but still rested lots in between jobs. Went to a quiz last night which was fun but it was our last one before we move so won't be going again :(
More cleaning and packing today but I'm slowly starting to see progress and things get tidier! Out for a meal tonight at an old neighbours house as a bit of a farewell thing which will be nice. Doubt we'll see much if anything of them when we move as we hardly see them now and we live 15 minutes away from them!

Bunny - Enjoy telling the remainder of the staff.
WG - Make the most of F being at nursery. Housework can wait! Rest up and I hope you're feeling better soon.
Peachy Welcome to 2nd tri! :)
coco - Enjoy your day! You have plenty of time yet for names, do you have a short list? H and I have a few we like but none set in stone yet. 3D scans are exciting, did you find when O was born, did he look like the 3D image?
Browny - i hope today is another successful day for you! Enjoy tonight :)
Not much to report, off to work shortly. Still feeling really tired, I thought this was meant to ease off in 2nd tri. Im sure its got worse!
I know Gavi isn't here yet, but thank you for telling me about the silvercross pioneer, the wheels look much better. I look forward to seeing it when it's out.

Hi all, sunny day here.
Bunny, hope the day goes well. Are you primary or secondary? None of my students know that I'm pregnant yet, but there will be no way of hiding it when I go back next week!
WG sorry to hear you feel ill. Hope you get better soon. As you say it's not easy but try to rest if you can.
Morning peachy, I don't think we've 'met' before. How far along are you?
Coco- what names have you got? H and I have talked. The names I love he doesn't and vice versa! We have one boys name we both quite like and 3girls names and that's it! I think I need a huge list of names for us to work through.
Glad the packing & clearing is getting there browny. Enjoy catching up with your friends.
AFM- I'm cracking on with my assignment today. I want another 2000 words done by this evening. My bump feels really heavy this morn which is a bit odd. Hope to have a break later and plant some seedlings in the veggi patch as its a lovely day here.
23/04/2014 at 09:17
Boo, cross posted, I'm still as tired now at 22 weeks as I was in first tri. Hope it eases for you though!
23/04/2014 at 09:34
Morning all, hope all is well.
Bunny - hope it goes well telling people :)
WG - rest up young lady, I don't want you moving from that bed!
Peachy - Welcome to 2nd Tri! How's your pregnancy been?
Coco - I have given up trying to think of names for Bubble! H is the least helpful person ever!
Browny - glad it's all going OK, how exciting (but a bit sad at the same time too, I am rubbish at goodbyes!)
AFM - nothing to report really. 20 week scan two weeks today so just counting down to that. Looking forward to going to the Baby Show at Bluewater on Sunday with some MDers!

I think I'm 2nd tri now so popping my head round to say hi & catch up with you lovely ladies!
Bunny: enjoy telling the rest of the staff, when are you planning on telling your class?
WG: Rest up, it's clearly what you need x
Peachy: Hi. I don't think my class will notice but I'm sure they'll be rumours circulating round the parents soon!!
Coco: Have fun at soft play
Browny: When are you moving? Hope you manage to get a few things done today but don't over do it
Boo: I know what you mean about the tiredness, hope it eases for you soon
Raincloud: Hope you get both your work & your planting done. I hadn't noticed how nice it was until you mentioned it.
AFM: I think my nausea has gone but also still feel really tired. I've started using my dream genii pillow again & it's great except last night I must've folded it over in my sleep & I didn't sleep so well as I was all tangled up in it! Supposed to be taking Isobelle swimming at 10.30 but can't seem to get myself off the sofa.
23/04/2014 at 09:44
Missed you there Boo and Raincloud
Boo - no worries. Not sure when it's out in shops though, but it looks nice doesn't it.
Raincloud - sounds like a nice day, good luck with the assignment!
23/04/2014 at 09:45
And you BK! Pillow sounds awesome, I want to get one of those. Hope you don't have too busy a day.
23/04/2014 at 10:32
Its lovely to see the thread busy!
Boo - some days I still feel exhausted. Just rest when you can and take care of yourself.
RC - hope you manage to get your 2000 words done. I use to grow veg but stopped when we moved into this place as there wasn't room and we just didn't get the time. Hopefully once we've moved I can start up again. Maybe a bit late for this year but might do something simple like lettuce leaves etc.
BK - hello and welcome to second tri! Glad to hear the sickness has died down. Hope the tiredness also eases off soon. I love my dream genii pillow! I can tell when I've rolled over and its moved from between my legs as I get awful hip pain! We move on Saturday.
Gavi - enjoy the baby show! Hope you get lots of bargains. My dream genii was £25 from TK Maxx so much cheaper than I found online.
I was being productive and then my mum skyped as she's looking after my 2.5 year old nephew this morning. He was showing me how he can wee in his potty! He did it for the first time last night and got a gold star so now of course he wants to wee in his potty constantly. He is so cute! :)

Hello ladies :)
bunny - hope the kids first day back as gone well and enjoy sharing the baby news with the staff :)
WG - Sorry to hear you are not feeling well, I hope you've managed to rest a bit today and are feeling better now x
Peachy - Welcome to 2nd tri! Hope to see you here more often
Coco - Hope you'll give us a sneaky share of the 3d scan - they fascinate me but I don't think we'll be having one
Browny - Enjoy the meal this evening, hope the move goes well x
Boo - Hope the tiredness eases off soon - I think it was a few weeks into 2nd tri before I felt a bit better
Raincloud - Did you get the essay done? Hope you managed to get out in the garden too x
Gavi - Enjoy the baby show at the weekend - not long til the scan - hurrah!
Blackkat - Did you make it to swimming? Hope you've managed some rest this afternoon
AFM - Had my 20 week scan this afternoon. All was good with the scan and baby had their foot shoved up in their face for most of it which amused the scan lady and my husband. No idea what on earth they are up to in there but obviously enjoying themselves!
23/04/2014 at 17:18
Just a quick catch up from me. Welcome to 2nd tri Peachy and BK! I've managed a whole day of doing nothing (other than dropping and picking F up from nursery) so I'm hoping that's going to help. Will hopefully try and be a better poster when I'm feeling back to myself x
23/04/2014 at 17:39
Sorry I missed you there Gavi (I'm so slow at typing!!) not long still your 20 week scan, are you going to find out the sex?
Browny: Your nephew sounds very cute
PS: So glad your scan went well, bless him/her(?) for moving so much!
WG: Hope the rest helped you today.
Well, I didn't make it to swimming. Isobelle was so cranky & upset that it didn't seem worth going so I tried to put her down for a nap but ended up sleeping myself for about an hour & it was her who woke me up (bad mummy) then I had another 2 1/2 hours sleep when she did this afternoon so not achieved anything. Whoops. My hubby will not be impressed but tough!

Hello, everyone else was pleased only a couple more people to catch then I've told all friends, family and work colleagues. For those that were asking I'm a primary school teacher. I don't have a class this year because of k so won't officially have to tell the children. Last time I did when I was 24 weeks, after the 20 week scan which I had at 21 weeks and it was at the beginning of the Easter holidays. As you said blackkat it was more to stop any parent rumours as the children hadn't really noticed!
WG make sure you take care of yourself and definitely rest if you need to.
Peachy welcome to 2ndtri. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Coco that's a lovely idea with the scan. We also don't have names, not really got that far. You've still got a little while. Wow only 2 months of work sounds like nothing!
Browny I love a pub quiz! Hope your meal tonight is nice.
Boo hope you've had an easy day. Tiredness sucks! Hopefully it will ease of in the next couple of weeks.
Raincloud hope you managed to plant stuff. You seem to be doing well with your essay. What is it you're studying for?
Gavi the baby show sounds lovely. I didn't realise they had one there. Its near my parents so will have to see if they have one on another time and maybe stay at there's for dinner!
Hi Bk! glad the nausea is easing and that the pillow is helping. And pleased that you had those naps you must have needed them.
PS so glad the scan went well! Sounds like a very flexible baby!

Nice to 'meet' you Peachy. Hope your pregnancy has gone smoothly so far. I too am waiting for the 'glowing' feeling! This is my 2nd & with my 1st I barely had any symptoms except tiredness so it's hit me quite hard. I too am a teacher but only work part time (2 days a week) as I look after my toddler the rest of the time. Hope you start feeling better soon. I've had a relaxing day so am off very soon for my rehearsal as I'm in Grease in 7 weeks time, hope I've got energy for it but at least they all know now which'll be easier. Take care
Bunny: with my last pregnancy I started at my current school as a supply teacher on a 4 day job at the beginning of Oct 2011 & ending up working full time until the Dec so told the children & staff from my 1st day there. I'm teaching year 3 so I doubt any will notice but at the same time if they do ask I don't want to lie to them so think I'll speak to the head to find out what others usually do (they've had a lot of teachers with babies recently, in fact we've been overlapping since I joined!!)

Hi everyone, I'm a rubbish MDer! I don't usually comment unless I have time for personals but I just wanted to say welcome to Peachy and BK.
Peachy do you mind me asking where in Berkshire you are? I'm not strictly Berkshire I'm just over the border into Hampshire but I'm at frimley park hospital for baby - are you?
