Baby out vibes for ferbs.
Didn't get on yesterday, trying to get my school reports written without distraction! 6 down 28 to go :(
Had nct class for the first time Monday. It was good not yoo much of an information overload, but enough to getus thinking about some things. The other people seem nice, so hopefully we will make some friends over the next 7 weeks. I think we were the youngest by at least 5 years though. Had my whooping cough jab yesterday and now I have a realky achy arm! Hoping it goes away soon.

Hi bunny, we started nct last night! Glad you enjoyed it. we also seem to be youngest in the group but not sussed that out for sure yet!
Afm, first nct last night and although the couples were nice, the class itself was pretty awful! The teacher was very vague and conceptual and i found it hard to know what she was wittering on about! It's a full weekend course so hope it gets better!
Baby out vibes to ferbs x

At least the couples were nice. Maybe she was going for a gentle approach so as not to scare anyone?! We had to order things that happen in labour and then got photos of a woman in labour to match up with the different stages. The photos were quite scary, it did not look like fun!

Bunny - Hope your arm feels better soon, mine was quite itchy and red for a few days too.
PW - shame about NCT, hopefully it will get better though, and you must have a good grounding from the NHS ones? I've been surprised at how good ours have been after hearing reports of them not being that great.
AFM - better nights sleep last night thank goodness, monday was awful! Really struggling in this heat, air con is down at work so I have a fan blowing hot air at me! Out for dinner with the girls tonight and that's about it!

Pork chop hopefully it's cooler today with this rain. Have fun at dinner. Glad to know I'm not the only one with a slight reaction to the jab.

Bunny, hope your arm is better soon and glad you enjoyed the NCT class.
PW, hope your next class is better, at least the other couples were nice.
PC, hope the cooler weather today helps, enjoy your dinner.
AFM, long day yesterday so looking forward to a quieter one today. Swimming with Jacob this morning, then we are popping to town for a few bits then doing a roast tonight. Might try to get my sewing machine out today as well and get on with some of the projects I keep wanting to, have offered to do some costumes for the school production too so will get thinking on that next week.

Bunny - owch to your arm! Mine hurt loads after. Hope that you get a lot out of NCT. Out class was full of people our ages (early 30s) but my BIL and SIL were the youngest in their class as still made good friends as everyone is going through the same experience regardless of age iykwim?
PW - sorry to hear that your teacher was not very good. I think it can vary quite a lot as we had a fab teacher but the most boring woman for the breastfeeding session. Hope that it gets better
PC - glad that you got a better nights sleep. Have a good dinner with your girlfriends
Afm - day 4 of being overdue and am actually in a lot better spirits. My parents came over last night and my mum put a lot of stuff into perspective. Will be meeting baby by end of next week regardless so need to chill and enjoy ME time before being a mother. Slept much better last night and have H working from home today so nice to have company. Am meeting NCT girls at a "bumps and babies" class today which will no doubt be a welcome distraction. Mostly our meetings are a good excuse for coffee and cake!
Good luck to MrsClarke who has her section today and thanks for all your lovely baby out vibes xx

Margot - enjoy swimming this morning and good luck with the costumes if you get round to them. You sound super talented, I am useless at that type of thing!

Ferbs, glad you are feeling more positive - it's not long now till you meet your baby at all!
Good luck to MrsC for today, I remember how nervous I felt nearly three years ago when I went in for mine! Looking forward to her BA.

PW-im sure the nct will start making sense soon
PC- hope they fix it soon, how long do you have left at work?
Margot- have a lovely swim, roast tonight sounds amazing!
Ferbs- still sending baby out vibes, its a positive way to look at it, no matter what your be meeting your baby in the next week.
AFM- 29 weeks today, had a long 13 hour day at work yesterday so trying to rest today. Meeting some friends for lunch later, all fine with the baby, appeared to be poking a foot out last night very odd! Have a lovely day all, vibes for mrsC for today

PW hoping the nct classes get better for the weekend sessions!
Porkchop hope it's not too hot, enjoy dinner
Margot sounds a good day, enjoy!
Ferbs glad your feeling in a better frame of mind, I imagine at the end everyday seems like a week when your waiting, but your mum is right baby will be here by next week for sure eek!
Noodle enjoy your relaxing day and lunch
Good look MrsC
Afm had midwife again yesterday, will see her again in 2 weeks, got to pop to have whooping cough vaccine later from the nurse. H has not finished our driveway (looks great!) so that's a big project out the way. I'm already feeling in less pain since finishing work and its only been two days! So feeling pretty chipper!

Good luck to MrsC today!
Bunny – hope the reports are going quicker now you’ve done those first ones. Glad your nct class went well. Jab took a couple of days to go away I think, it was really annoying though I just wanted to scratch it to pieces!
Pirate Wife – sorry to hear that yours didn’t go quite so well, I really do hope this weekend is loads better for you. I’d definitely leave them feedback at the end.
Porkchop – yay for a better night sleep! Ooo – sounds like a fun evening. Enjoy your meal.
Margot – enjoy your quieter and relaxed day! What’s the school production? Will they be exciting costumes to make? What are your current projects?
Ferbs – your mum sounds wise! Enjoying your time before baby arrives sounds a good way forward but at the same time, hope baby doesn’t make you wait too long. Any excuse for coffee and cake sounds good to me, have fun!
Noodle – a restful day sounds a good way! I’ve no idea how you cope with a 13 hour day!
Duckford – glad to hear no work is doing you good! Yay for a finished driveway.
AFM – we made progress, only a little, but it was progress on baby names last night! We’re down to 3 girls names and 4 boys names. I think we might even have the same top choice for the girls name.. but H wants to think on it some more. And apparently I agreed at some point I’d be happy if we just got it down to 3 of each sex before baby arrives.. This was probably a way of coaxing H to narrow our list down some more some time back but he’s clearly remembered!
I made the stupid mistake of having a drink fairly close to bedtime last night so several trips to the toilet were made in the night! I won’t be making that mistake again!
