Hello! Midweek is here at last! I've got heartburn, feel sick and have hip pain. Baby has felt so low last 24 hrs that the discomfort has bordered on painful. And I'm hyperventilating most of the day so am shattered. Can't remember the last time I slept laying down, it's been weeks and weeks of being propped on giant cushions and tossing and turning regularly. Sorry for the whinge. I'm still a billion times better than I was in my first pregnancy and it's best I keep reminding myself of that, ha ha! Hope everyone is doing well and that sleep has improved for lots of us :)

Glad its not just me who's awake, been having pains all night baby is pressing on my bladder and bump is rock solid! Just so uncomfortable so at 3am Decided to stop fighting it and just get up
Generally feeling uncomfortable now and very sluggish, got consultants Thursday so I am hoping I will find out a bit more about their intentions!!
Hope your all ok? X

lots of us cant sleep then.
I keep sneezing, rather impressed with my bladder control though! Baby seems very comfortable and showing no signs of arrival anytime soon.
Not a lot of plans for the day, nursery for A, wednesdays are a quiet day.
ck 39+5 (eek)

Ck I can't believe your 39+5
Where is this time going???
22/01/2014 at 05:26
Slowly now it seems lol. They induce here at +12 so i'm hoping that means I really do. only have a max of 2 weeks left. I'm really hungry now but trying not to get up until 6am, don't want the kids to hear me and follow!
Who still has stuff to buy for babys arrival?
22/01/2014 at 05:55
I still need to buy stuff, got baby shower on Saturday so I'm gonna see what I get from that first!

Oooh will there be lots of cake? I'm in the mood for cake!
Aaron heard me up at the loo so we're now downstairs watching cbeebies. Yippee! It's going to be a loooooooong day.

Wow you are all up early!
Counter- sorry you are not sleeping. Are you taking anything for the heartburn? I used to swig from the gaviscon bottle in my second pregnancy.
NLH- sorry your sleep has been rubbish too.
CK- hope you do get to have a relaxing day today. You never know this baby might surprise you and turn up on time.
AR- Glad work have reduced some of your duties
ABC- Time is most definitely passing by quickly. Especially since Christmas has gone.
AFM- went to bed for an earlyish night as I was shattered and although I slept I did keep on waking up- so not a great sleep! Wednesday is swimming day in our house! A swims with school in the morning. Once I drop C to pre school I go to a toddler swimming group with O and then C swims at a club after school. Thankfully I only have to get in once!

My goodness, you lot are early risers this morning!
Counter, hope you got back to sleep. All those symptoms are really annoying aren't they, especially when you can't sleep. What are you taking for the heartburn?
NLH, hope you got back to sleep too! It'd be nice if there was a way of getting baby to move wouldn't it ?? Good luck at consultant tomorrow. Did you manage to speak to a breastfeeding counselor? Enjoy your baby shower xx
CK, not long now for you, hope you don't need to wait till induction! Does Aaron cuddle in and watch telly when you are both up early? M NEVER sits nice to watch telly, I'd be very jealous if he does
AR, did you get the results of the gtt yesterday or do you need to wait for those? What are you thinking about finishing work?
ABC, the constant tiredness is unreal isn't it? Hope you have a nice day
All ok here, arm a bit achy from whooping cough jab - didn't hurt at the time but was sore just before bed last night, typical not to worry. Working from home today so just going to drop M at nursery. Weekend is in sight
Hi to all on later x

S4, missed you there, morning sorry you're another with a rubbish sleep. Enjoy swimming!
22/01/2014 at 08:49
ABC - any sleep is goo, try and make the most of it.
s4 - another one with bad sleep - yuck. enjoy swimming
weekender - ugh i have to book my jab. I hate jabs!! Is working from home making life much easier?
I have to call for my GTT results tomorrow. I've had this weird feeling i've got it this time. No idea why, my finger *** test before the first bloods yesterday was in normal range but that doesn't tell you everything so we'll see. I've no idea about work as yet. Going to plough on for the moment, i hope until at least half term.

AR, the jab itself was fine, hardly knew she'd done it, it's just the sore arm afterwards I can't be bothered with! Working from home is def good for my anxiety levels, as I'm not worrying about starting to bleed heavily in a busy office, plus the car park is about ten min walk from the office so I know I'd have that to get to car to go to hospital if I was to drive myself there. I'm not sure that it's doable long term if they won't give me a laptop as I do lots of staffing costs forecasts and I can't email the info I need for that to my home email address, and they've cut off our remote access to our work emails so I can only access work emails on my phone at home which is useless. Scan is Tuesday, so we will see what that shows and if it's still showing as a risk then I'll need to review work situation then. They work in such an antiquated way it's not true!
Good luck with test results tomorrow hope they show all is ok x

Counter- Sorry you're having a rough time of it atm. I am with you on the sleep, constant tossing and turning. Hope the heartburn eases and baby wriggles so your more comfortable.
NLH- Early morning for you. Hope the consultant app goes ok tomorrow. Baby shower sounds fun :)
CK- Ha good bladder control! Not long left for you. Have a nice relaxed day.
AR- Glad all went well with the test. That's good of work, hopefully you wont be in pain with your hips with les walking about. have you got much left to buy?
ABC- Sorry your feeling shattered. Soon be the weekend.
S4- Swimming day sounds great, enjoy!
Weekender- Glad jab went ok. Did the midwife tell you when to get it or did you just book yourself? Working from home sounds much better.
AFM- Had midwife this morning, heard heartbeat and bump measuring good. She said my blood pressure is always so good and that I clearly cope well with pregnancy. Nice to get a compliment lol. these past few weeks seem to have flown by. Had a Prezzo and Watched Wolf of Wall street last night, even though its 3 hours it didnt actually seem that long, I stayed awake and only needed a wee once, result!

Isis- Sorry missed you there, I have used gaviscon for mine but it makes me gag. May take a trip to the docs if it continues. Enjoy putting your feet up :)
22/01/2014 at 11:30
Counter - Sorry you aren't well. Hopefully you will sleep better tonight. You are on the home straight now as well!
NLH - Are you having lots of braxton hicks? Hope the baby shower goes well.
CK - Almost your due date! Time is going fast. Like you said, a maximum of 2 weeks to go!
AR - Glad work are being understanding, hope the GTT results are good tomorrow.
ABC - Glad the week is going fast for you.
S4 - Thats a lot of swimming! Hope you have a less unsettled night tonight.
WE - I hada really sore arm afterwards, you could even see the bruise for a few days! That's not good about the laptop/email access. I'm lucky in that we all have laptops instead of desktop pcs and just dock them when in work.
AFM - MW yesterday and all good. Baby is now head down! Hopefully he will stay that way. Had to do the MRSA test as well which involved swabs in unpleasant places! Wasn't expecting that tbh. My friend had her 12 week scan today and all was well. So excited that she is having a baby too :)
