I'm hoping that the absence of a thread so far might mean some baby out action is going on! Baby out vibes to Lamby, Bexy and RKB!
Had MW yesterday all seems fine and dandy, although she did say that might sciatica might not go after I give birth :-( On a lighter note I squeezed my boob in the shower last night and a teeny bit of milk came out, freaked me out a bit! Sorry TMI!!
22/05/2013 at 07:54
Maybe these three are going to do a BW, Hep, VE on us and have their babies all on the same day?!
Pc, there is no reason why the sciatica should stay. Fingers crossed it does go.
AFM, not much to report. Feeling vaguely organised. I feel the size of a house but hey ho. On the final countdown now!

Morning ladies... I'm still here..
Pc.. Glad all was ok with the midwife. Wow I haven't had the milk thing happen to me.
Rusty.. Not long now... I'm feeling very house like too!
Afm... No twinges or signs.. Midwife yesterday said head is not even engaged.. I knew I would go overdue! So I'm walking today and ball bouncing.. I'm bored now!!

Morning PC! I am still here!
glad your MW appointment went well, but that's rubbish about the Sciatica. I remember when my boob started leaking milk too. It's a bit of a strange sight!
AFM - went to see BIL for his birthday last night, and none of them have seen me since the middle of April, they can't believe how big I am. SIL was convinced I was going to go while I was there, but here I am, the following morning no further forward! Got my sweep booked this morning, so i'm hopeful it will get things moving, although i'm a bit nervous about it.
Baby out vibes to Lamby and Bexy
Happy Birthday to Lamby!
Happy Due Date to Bexy!!
RKB - Fully Cooked + 6

PC - hopefully the sciatica will go post birth.
Rusty - I feel exactly the same as you. Ready for this baby to come and vaguely organised. At least you have the benefit of a date for baby's arrival, I just feel like I am waiting and symptom spotting all the time !
AFM - lazy morning planned then off to meet H for lunch. Have loads of washing to do which I was hoping to dry on the line but may have to give up in that idea as the sun appears to have no inclination to come out anytime soon.
Happy birthday to Lamby today and baby out vibes to her, RKB and Bexy. Another hattrick BA would be good!
Have a good day all xx

Bexy - happy due date! Shame about baby not being engaged yet but remember he/she was breech only a couple of weeks ago so it could just take a bit of time to get into position. Hopefully it will happen quickly
RKB - hope that your sweep gets things moving
Porkchop, hope the sciatica does go once baby is here. Glad all is well.
Rusty, can't believe you are nearly there! I feel the size of a house too and have another 12 weeks of growing to do!
Bexy, lots of baby out vibes for you.
AFM, feel utterly shattered this morning which is not good as we have a busy day. School run, swimming lesson and then a trip to town - have to get bloods done and do a few bits. Think a cafe stop is definitely in order! For those who asked yesterday, anti-M antibodies apparentl mean that there's a chance my blood could react to baby's and mean jaundice or in very worst case, the need for a blood transfusion. Will know more once the test results are back, think the MW was pretty horrified that the hospital had told me not to worry as it's nothing. It could well mean that there's nothing to worry about but we don't know yet, so I'm not panicking until we know.

Missed you Rusty and Bexy
Rusty - I can relate to the size of a house, although i'm starting to feel like a block of flats now!
Bexy - If it's any consolation, baby's head might not engage until you actually go into labour! You've still got 15 hours before you're officially overdue, so you could still go today!! FX!

Oh darn it I was hoping for lots of BA's!!
Rusty - she said I may have already had it, but it hasnt showed itself until now...oh well I'll worry about that later! Glad youre feeling organised, me too, just a couple bits to get once payday arrives, H had nearly finished all the DIY , then just have to sit back and wait!
Bexy - happy bouncing!
RKB - I'm sure the sweep will be fine, be brave!
Ferbs - always nice to have lunch out! I'm happy for Bean to be on time so I can enjoy a few weeks of being a lady wot lunches!
M - hope youre day isnt too tiring, good luck with the bloods.
22/05/2013 at 08:14
Ferbs - have a lovely day! Enjoy lunch with your H!
Margot - thanks for explaining the Anti M. I think my older sister had this. Something to do with hr blood type and her daughters being rhesus positive and negitive or something. Her daughter ended up quite jaundice, but the hospital were the same and never told her about it! Hope you get some rest today!

Missed a few!
RKB, lots of baby out vibes for you too, hope the sweep helps.
Ferbs, enjoy your lazy day.

Ah. Just spent ages writing something on here and my phone swallowed it. This is why i struggle with mumdrum these days. Baby out vibes for those who need them, i can't face writing that all out again. X

FerbsAt least you have the benefit of a date for baby's arrival, I just feel like I am waiting and symptom spotting all the time !
If I hold out until then!
These babies will come when they are ready. There is no saying it might not want to make an appearance before then. I hope it doesn't mind, having a section date does make child care a LOT easier!
Ferbs, enjoy your lunch with H. I am on a washing mission too. Two loads out already!
22/05/2013 at 11:58
Very true Rusty! If baby decides to make an early appearance I assume that they give you an emergency c-section?
My second load of washing is also in. No sun, but at least it's dry so first load is on the line!

Ferbs If baby decides to make an early appearance I assume that they give you an emergency c-section?
Yes, I think so.
I have another growth scan on Friday but I think we can be fairly sure this baby is big so an EMCS would probably be my only option.

Hi ladies, quick update from me!
Sweep went well, MW could feel baby's head and said my cervix is nice and soft and she reckoned she could have pushed the cervix open a bit more, but obviously it would have slid back again. Got my induction date too, but we're going to keep that to ourselves and only tell immediate family. MW hopes that I won't need it and the sweep will have done the trick! So FX the sweep does the trick!

PC, I had a bit os sciatica 1st time round, and it went after bubs was out so there is hope!
Rusty, Glad your feeling organised, I feel far from it, hoping to rectify that this weekend.
Bexy & rkb, baby out vibes.
Hi Ferbs, we have no sun here either, depressing!
Margot, sounds a bit worrying, hope all is ok though.
Pombear , i know how your feeling, i hardly get on anymore, i cant login from my laptop, its a huge faff to post from my phone thats when it does work. I only get on from the work computer, which isnt often which is quite often why i cant come back later.
Anyway baby wise for me, Im 36 weeks today. section booked for 3 weeks time.
TMI, Im having lots of clear jelly like stuff when i wipe. theres no blood or anything, and it started yesterday. hasnt been eveytime but the time it has theres been quite a bit. Please tell me this isnt the start of my plug? Its to early!!
22/05/2013 at 13:26
MrsClarkePlease tell me this isnt the start of my plug? Its to early!!
It could well be. And really, you are only 1 week from being fully cooked so not too early at all.
22/05/2013 at 13:41
If it is my plug, that doesnt necessarily mean anything does it? I really want to hold out to my section date, im a bit scared of going into labour beforehand. With my 1st i couldnt even get into labour with an induction, so didnt think i would go naturally this time round. Baby is a good size, over 7lb already so size wise ok, although i know the lungs might not be develloped as well in a gd baby.

Hi everyone! Back in the UK and the land of internet after a lovely holiday. Long drive home from Dover now so I get to try and catch up with what's happened on here while my H drives :-) what have I missed? CK text me to let me know baby WorkingHard had arrived, any more BA's?
Question from me already, I have a mw appt and growth scan next week but I'm thinking about trying to get an appt at the clinic tomorrow cos I'm worried about the lack of bump growth. At 30 weeks I hadn't grown from my 28 week appt and I'm convinced I haven't got any bigger in the 2 weeks since. Is that a stupid reason to go and see the mw? Don't want to be laughed out the door or told I should have waited until next week. Have been told all week how tiny and neat I am for 7 months which is adding to my anxiety and convincing me that something is wrong and he isn't growing :-(
