How miserable out there is it today! I am already in the office, girls were collected at 5.30 this morning as they are going to the seaside for a few days with my SIL's and Nephews, first time Molly has been anywhere other than to my parents for the night without us and I am missing them both already, roll on Saturday! Have another appointment on Friday with a different doctor so will hopefully move forwards with some treatement for my hips, trying to stay positive!
Will pop back later

Morning Nina - enjoy the mini-break although I'm sure its too quiet for you!! Hope your doctor can help you out.
All ok with me except we are crazily busy at work this week and I'm doing a lot of late nights continuing towork from home once I get home. Oh well.... Baby is kicking so strongly yesterday and today that it hurts - not sure what they are trying to tell me!
Talk soon and hi to all that follow

It's miserable here today too nb. I hope your appt on Friday is better and gets you some help, being in pain is miserable.
Sue I hope work quietens down a bit for you.
I'm off to the mw this morning. Got another list of questions for her, so I hope she's not in as much of a rush as normal.
28/05/2014 at 08:59
Nina, fingers crossed the new doc can help! Sorry you're missing your girls, but hopefully you'll get a bit more time to relax for a couple days now. And I'm sure they'll love the seaside!
Don't overdo things, Sue! Though if you enjoy your work I guess doing more from home can be good, just don't get burned out.
AFM, still in bed, cuddled up to Wispa. I have grand plans to head to bluewater today as yesterday I stared to feel a little bit of cabin fever being stuck inside almost all day. Going to get my May free coffee and cake at John Lewis and see x-men! All on my lonesome, but I'm really looking forward to it. Wispa is now being walked by her dog walker until due date, so while I will probably still take her to the park in the evening, I'm not taking her for 1 hour+ walks daily. Even though that would probably be my best bet at getting baby moving.
Hi to all who follow!

Missed you imp, I hope the midwife has lots of time and good answers for you!
OMG HOLLY JOLLY IS A WATERMELON!
28/05/2014 at 09:07
A watermelon!!!! Eeeek! Your day sounds lovely, perfect for a miserable rainy day!
28/05/2014 at 09:11
Nina, I really hope the doctor can give yo something, or help in some way. Being in constant pain is miserable, and there seems to be a bit of an "oh you're pregnant, it'll pass once it's over" attitude, not great when you've months still to go.
Sue, hope work's not too stressful. Kicks are lovely, but not if they hurt, take it easy little one!
Imp, hope everything goes well at the midwife and she's got time to go through things with you. Try not to be pushed out before you're ready, yo don't see her all that much in the grand scheme of things, and you should be able to have the time you need.
I'm still in bed, I've been up to get J dressed but am full of cold and so very very pregnant, and so have been sent back to bed by H, who has taken J to nursery, set me up with some rubbish on tv, and made me a coffee and a bacon sandwich. I luffs him. Last night I had lots of dreams about having the baby and every time I woke up to pee/turn over/wriggle uncomfortably I had periody pains and was sure today would be the day, but now I'm awake properly I'm feeling less positive (and less crampy.) Baby out vibes appreciated!
28/05/2014 at 09:16
Missed you there Wispa, sorry. Glad I'm not the only lazy biff still in bed! Coffee, cake and a film sounds great, hope you enjoy.
28/05/2014 at 09:32
Nina - very early start, hope the rest of your working week flies in and this other doctor gets you sorted.
Sue - lovely to feel kicks, sorry you feel battered! Im sure they are just active :)
Imp - good luck with midwife. Just be insistent!
Wispa - sounds like a lovely chilled day, enjoy!
Spikey - A Star to the hubby and loads of baby out vibes!!!
AFM - off to lunchtime yoga then midwife this afternoon. My carpal tunnel has been really sore last couple of days so I am going to kick up a stink i think, its just ridiculous trying to work with it but my boss is far from sympathetic...
Had my reflexology on Fri night and it was a hour & half of pure bliss, slept so well. I am going to start going every 2 weeks, it was money well spent.
28/05/2014 at 10:48
Oh SG loads of baby out vibes for you, lovely. I really hope if today isn't the day that atilla doesn't keep you waiting too much longer.
Sas CT sucks doesn't it? It's so hard functioning. I hope you get somewhere.
I'm waiting for the mw and I realised I've forgotten my list of questions. Great start, and I feel sick.
28/05/2014 at 11:18
NB - that was quick! Hopefully Friday's appointment will give you some answers! It'll be quiet at your house then but I'm sure you'll so pleased to get them back on the weekend.
Sue -sorry work has been so manic! Hopefully it will calm down a bit. The kicks must be nice but maybe baby is also hoping you slow down haha. Reminding you to take it easy or else!
Imp - hope the mw goes ok. Can you remember your questions? Or would it be possible to call her after? Hope she spends some time actually trying to answer them for you this time.
Wispa - your wednesday sounds awesome! X-men looks amazing I am jealous. Have a lovely day to yourself and lucky Wispa getting a dog walker. Makes sense for you to chill a bit more though. Yay for watermelons! That means you're close!!
SG - round of applause for your H. I might just drop that into casual conversation with my H later haha. Lots and lots of baby out vibes for you!
Sas - enjoy yoga! With your carpal tunnel, could you go to occupational health and get some adjustments put in place that might help? Our OH are fab and it's much quicker than being referred through a gp. Glad the reflexology went well. That's on my "if I go overdue I will do this" list. I would love to do it now but I've had a really good pregnancy so don't see it as justifiable sadly.
AFM - we have put forward a suggested completion date so hopefully that gets agreed this week! I want to get in my house NOW!! Everything else is good to go so contracts should be signed soon yay! Starting to feel a lot more tired and breathing is a struggle when walking now so I think baby has moved up into my ribs. Seems to be kicking my boobs almost! Still feeling ok for the most part though but a ball is on my list of things to get this weekend as my back is starting to twinge at the end of the day. So hard to get comfy now too!
Hi to those that follow!
28/05/2014 at 11:37
How exciting jonesy, I hope they agree the date. When is it? The ball has really helped me, much more comfy than sitting on the sofa.
Mw went well. Happy feet is head down, I believed get this time too, so that's progress. She also chased up my physio referral and I'm going to an appt this afternoon!
28/05/2014 at 11:46
Wow busy today!!
Sue - make sure you don't work too hard!
Imp - Good news about Happy feet and brilliant news about Physio
Wispa - your day sounds good, I love BW, didnt realise we were that close!
SG - bless your husband, baby out vibes heading your way
SaSaSi - hope you get some answers, sounds relaly painful. I didn't think you could have reflexology in pregnancy? I would love to have it, may investigate
Jonesy - this is just going back to my surgery to kick butt! my boss thinks its unreasonable and has offered to send me and pay through work for physio but I am going to try and talk to my doctors, there is a younger and much more aware doctor there who I am going to see. are you hoping to move before baby arrives?
Got a 2 hour video conference at 12 and all I want to do is sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
28/05/2014 at 12:59
Imp - we've asked for the 20th June which gives us a couple more days til exchange and we pay rent on the 28th of the month so hopefully will work out nicely for that! Yay for head down thats brilliant!!! And awesome news about the physio, let us know how it goes!
NB - ah ok. I saw that yesterday! What a brilliant boss you have. Hopefully the younger doctor will be more switched on though. Really hope you get it sorted soon. The plan for us is to get in by the end of June so there will be at least a month (hopefully) to get settled before baby arrives. The house is empty so shouldnt be an issue! MIL is coming down at the start of the school holidays to paint everything as we would like every room doing pretty much!
Hope the video call is going ok!
28/05/2014 at 18:09
SG, your H sounds amazeballs, I hope you're feeling better soon. I can't imagine having a full on cold at full term, let alone with a toddler to take care of as well.
Sas, so glad the reflexology has been a good investment, anything to make pregnancy more comfortable. I have to admit I have no idea what reflexology is, though. I think it deserves a google. :)
Jonesy, it's been a very awesome Wednesday :). And 20th June for possible completion is brilliant! It should give you a few good weeks before baby to settle in, but still let everyone else do the hard work while you supervise.
NB, yeah, I'm a 15-20 min drive from bluewater in SE London/Kent. I'm thinking it might be somewhere I go quite often on mat leave. Seems to be quite popular based on the number of prams I always see there! I'm hoping there will be an MD meet up there in the july sometime. If no one else suggests it I might! I hope you managed to stay awake through the conference ;)
Imp, how was physio this afternoon? It's brilliant you got the referral finally.
I feel like such a piggy after my trip to bluewater. Cake and coffee was only the beginning. I scoffed that lot during the previews (x-men was fabulous, by the way. Ahh, Michael fassbender...), and after the movie I decided I wasn't above a lonesome lunch in Byron burger. Only my painfully distended over full stomach stopped me from getting a milkshake along with it. Milkshake was so tempting that I might have to plan my day tomorrow around getting one from somewhere. Mmm.
28/05/2014 at 18:19
Wispa your day sounds fab! I really fancy s milkshake now, one if those lovely ones made with ice cream ! Mmmmm!
The physio was ok thanks, a bit different to the private lady but informative and she talked me through way more extecised. Both for my pelvis and my carpal tunnel.
Jonesy that's not far away, I hope it all goes to plan for you.
