hope you are all well today. Antenatal was good yesterday, we have 2 more sessions. We both left excited and wanting labour to start soon (although not until baby is term)! Had a good chat with the midwife after as this is my 2nd and labour was very quick last time so we are a little worried that we might not make it to the hospital if we hang around! She said small and premature babies tend to have quicker labours so hopefully we will have some time to get sorted as according to my email from mothercare this week the baby should weigh as much as k did when she was born!

Bunny - Pleased that antenatal went well and the MW was reassuring.
MrsL - I hope you find tomorrows class informative
AFM - Not much to report today. Work is still crazy busy, trying to take it easy when I can but it's one of our busiest times of year :( Only 2 weeks until my holiday starts, the countdown to finish has definitely begun! Can't wait to rest!

Bunny - it's great that you're feeling so positive about labour/birth. I must admit, I'm weirdly looking forward to it but I think that's partly because I've felt so rough in pregnancy!
MrsL - hope you have a good day and enjoy your BFing class tomorrow.
Boo - Not long to go now until you can have a rest!
Work has finally started on our ensuite hurrah. The house is going to be a tip for a while but it'll all be worth it. Just pottering about today getting little jobs done around the house, there's no point cleaning with all the dust floating about so I'm getting washing done, the food shop, etc. Had a lovely aquayoga session last night although it felt very odd to be arriving home in the dark. Autumn has definitely arrived!

Bunny it's great you are feeling positive
Mrs L good luck with the class
Boo I'm on the count down too! Have something like 17 shifts left (thank god!) although boss has emailed me (prob too scared to ask in person) if he can put me down to deliver some teaching sessions as my KIT days, FFS Iv not even gone off yet Iv ignored for now
Wg hope they won't be too long with the work
Afm, Isaac started pre school today!!! He's been going to a little group every Thursday afternoon which is a lovely setting with only 6-8 children and it's more like a playgroup. So he started proper pre school this morning, I was in 2 minds, he's vvvvv sociable but also very rough but we were allowed in early to watch them play and omg there he was sat like an angel singing at circle time, sitting beautifully , I was worried he wouldn't tell them he needed the toilet but apparently within the first 10 mins he'd gone for a poo so I think all boundaries are lifted , he fist bumped one of the teachers on his way out , I asked if he was going back tomorrow and he said he was lol.
Baby wise not a lot going on, h is away in Bristol so itl be early to bed for me tonight as I'm knackered!

Bunny: Glad your antenatal class went well, are you doing the NHS ones? I'm also worried about a quick 2nd birth, as I put on the thread you started Isobelle arrived in 5 hours from my waters breaking. I met up with 2 ladies on Monday to discuss home births & both had very quick 2nd labours, 1 only just made it to the hospital in time (leaving her 3 year old son asleep & home alone for a few mins as her mum who lived round the corner thought she'd have a cup of tea before going to hers!!) & the other who wasn't planning a home birth but ended up with 1 due to the speed!!
MrsL: Enjoy your breast feeding group tomorrow
Boo: Hope you have time to take it easy today even if it is busy
WG: Glad they've finally started on your ensuite, how long is it supposed to take? Not too long I hope!
RF: Glad that Isaac enjoyed preschool, I'm looking to start Isobelle at 1 in January. It's crazy how quickly they're growing up!!
AFM: Met 2 mums to be yesterday, it was a stroll round a local lake but it's been awhile since I went to someone like that without other mummy friends & I kept having to pick Isobelle up as they were walking too fast (or too fast for a toddler who likes to take her time & stop & look at & question everything!). I'd walked there & back too (only 20 mins but again at toddler pace) & felt knackered today. I've got 2 inset days at school tomorrow & Friday then teaching (maybe) on Monday & Tues so it's gonna be a real shock to the system. Still got work to do that I put off over the summer but I should have some time tomorrow or Friday to do it if I don't get it all done. My hubby is away now till FRiday which is a pain in 1 respect but at least I won't have the stress of not knowing if he'll be home on time as on Monday I didn't even bother cooking for him & I'm glad I didn't as he wasn't home till 9.30 then yesterday he was late back so I had to phone up a friend & drop Isobelle there as otherwise I'd have missed the start of my lazy daisy class & it probably wouldn't have worked missing the beginning. I've already warned him that I'll be knackered by the weekend so he'll be on toddler duty for the weekend.
Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant but just felt a bit sorry for myself last night.
Hi to anyone who follows or nods off at my rant!!

RF - a great first day at preschool for I then! I sometimes think they're far more capable than we give them credit for!
BK - the work could take up to 2 weeks but hopefully not that long. H has already had enough of sleeping in the spare room! I'm sorry to hear about your H being late this week - you know my story so I won't go into it again but I completely understand where you're coming from. Has he spoken to his boss yet?
