my insomnia is back badly :-( it's not so much insomnia more I can't get comfy to sleep.
my lungs are crushed and I can't catch a breath which leads me to really awful snoring haha, my hands are still bad and now I have 5 fingers that are totally dead.
im at the consultant today so I'm wondering what / if anything I will be told. Hopefully I won't be kept in like last time!
counting down the days to my baby shower this weekend, I'm really excited to see everyone before baby arrives!

Monnie good luck with the consultant. I hope they give you some positive news today. I bet you're mega excited about your shower this weekend. :)
Trifle yay to more plug, come on now baby trifle it's time for you to meet yoor mummy! I hope your walk starts things off for you.,
AFM I had a much better night. I was still awake at 5am but I must have dozed back off so at least that's some progress. My hips were really sore yesterday so I had a really lazy night last night, I'm hoping they'll feel a bit better today.

Monnie, good luck with the appt and vibes for not being kept in. I've got numbness in my fingers now, is that how yours started? MW seemed to think it was normal?
Trifle, come on baby! Hopefully the bloody show means things are getting going for real now.
Imp, hope your hips aren't so bad today. Have you done any physio or yoga or anything for them? It sounds far too uncomfortable to live with for another 11 weeks!
AFM, off to the GP this morning to ask for ranitidine and about my heart palpitations, hopefully nothing to worry about, but MW suggested I ask anyways.

I hope the doc can help with the ranitidine, mine wouldn't precscribe it for me, meanie. I hope your heart palpitations are nothing to worry about.
I'm waiting for a physio referral now. I've stopped the yoga incase it's pgp, I don't want to make it worse.

Morning, is it already :(
monnie - keeping everything crossed for a good outcome with your appt today. Sounds good your baby shower, mine is in a couple of weeks, although I wasn't too fussed on having one but family and friends told me off when I found out about it, it was a secret haha :)
Trifle - I hope everything kicks off for you soon :)
imp - it's horrid isn't it when you can't get comfy specially when trying to sleep, we need our sleep haha!
wispa - I hope your doc appt is good, and are you asking for a higher dosage of Ranitidine as I buy mine in Tesco? My friend got a prescription from her doc and it was a higher dosage. I hope your palps can be described as normal, I get them before pregnancy and was on Betablockers but don't seem that bad at the moment but I will need to speak to the mw or doc about my heart, its hard to explain it but I feel like my blood is pumping around the top half of my body really thickly so it doesn't feel good and it's knackering me if I'm honest. I hope all is well with you wispa :)
AFM - just the usual, tired, uncomfortable and still feeling him move loads :) Second antenatal class tomorrow afternoon then a tour around the maternity unit to follow :)
Hi to all who follow xx

Monnie - sorry to hear you are having a rough time of it, you are on the final stretch now! Hope your baby shower is lovely at the weekend :)
Trifle - I'm going to place my bets and say baby will be here by the end of the week!
Imp - Glad you slept better, fingers crossed it continues.
Wispa - hope everything goes well at the Drs.
LeeLee - hope your class and tour are good :)
AFM - Usual pregnant lady symptoms! Think baby is trying to change position as lying on either side is pretty uncomfortable, think they are also doing something up near my ribs as keep getting sharp pains there every so often!
I think my worrying about labour is just the fear of the unknown really! Hoping once antenatal classes start and I feel a bit more informed about it all it will all be ok!

Imp, I hope the referral comes through soon!
LL, definitely mention the knackering heart pumping feeling to your MW, sounds horrible! Enjoy the class, we have ours today!
Vix, the unknown aspect of everything is a bit scary, I hope the classes make you feel better about it. They've gone over loads in ours so far, now I'm mostly scared about the unknowns about having an infant to care for!!
Doctors appt was fine, I saw the nurse first fort he whooping cough jab first. No side effects so far except for feeling slightly bruised if I touch it. Then in the actual doctors I got so caught up talking about the palpitations completely forgot to ask about ranitidine! Ahh well, I just wanted the prescription so I could get it free, cheeky me. I'll pick some up in Tesco instead. I'd also meant to tell the doc about the fainting spells in case it was related to the palpitations, but forgot about that as well. Jeez, I'm pretty useless today. I should be expecting a letter through from the hospital with an appt for an ECG, though. The GP didn't seem overly concerned, but as they are getting worse she thinks it should be checked out. Of course when I was in her office I was completely fine, though it had palpitations in the waiting room and again now I'm sitting around at home. Chances are I won't have any when I'm in for the ECG, either!

Late to this!
Monnie - hope the consultant appointment went well today.
Trifle - hope this is the start of things for you :)
Imp - glad you had a better night, it's so nice getting a few solid hours sleep!
LeeLee - enjoy your class and tour.
Vix - hope the classes help you feel more informed about everything.
Wispa - Glad your doctors appointment was fine. It's easy to forget to mention things!
AFM - had a long and busy day with family yesterday and was at work early this morning so I'm shattered now. We've been given lots of baby bits from my brother, my cousin can't stop knitting for us and the daughter of my Mum's friend has given us loads of newborn clothes (up to 1 month old), so we came home with a car load of stuff! Had my whooping cough jab earlier, which didn't hurt but after reading stories on here I'm expecting a bit of discomfort tomorrow.
