I don't think I saw a thread.
Babies!! Where are our babies?? Don't want to be bugging anyone, but Counter? Bertie? Trifle?
afm, bumps in the pub was actually a lot of fun, and Anthony actually said he had a good time; I'm amazed! Off to work shortly, slept in this morning (!) so have been in a bit of a rush, but feeling fresh and energetic, yay!

That sounds like my sort of baby group haha!
Afm- totally fed up now, back at hospital tomorrow to get some sort of idea about my blood pressure.
Today though it's my besties birthday and we are off for afternoon tea x

Hopefully there are lots of babies either here or on the way.
Wispa I hope your day is a nice easy one. Glad you had a good time last night, I know you were a bit worried about it being awkward.
I'm off to the mw this morning, I'm hoping she'll measure my bump to find me an idea of how big happy feet is. I've been told twice this weekend that I look massive so I'm now paranoid! My hips were sore yesterday so I went to bed early and then spent half the night unable to sleep! Grrr! Anyway, it's a gorgeous sunny day here and there's only today and tomorrow until the weekend so no moaning from me!
Glad you had fun last night! Haha your H sounds a bit like mine in the social department. Hope work goes ok for you and you get there on time.
Still here. Day 3 of loosing plug. Off to midwife later this morning. Had twinges on and off for a few days, this waiting around is very frustrating! Sil is coming round today and we shall attempt to bake again, hopefully it will turn out better than last time!

Oh how did I miss two people!
Monnie I love afternoon tea, enjoy!
Imp don't worry everyone said my bump was massive but I was actually measuring a tad small for weeks. But now I am just huge! Hope the appointment goes well :) do you use a pregnancy pillow?

Morning you lovelies :)
wispa - your class sounds great so glad Ant enjoyed it too. Yay indeed to being energetic make the most of it :)
monnie - I really hope they find some answers for you, you must have the patience of a Saint! Enjoy your afternoon tea, although have you worked out ahead what you can have due to GD?
imp - good luck with the mw appt, don't read too much into the measurements, mine by all accounts were way off! I was told he was big, way above the lines but when I had my scan he is within the normal size, still exciting though :)
Bertie - I hope the mw appt proves fruitful, you poor ladies sure have been through it these past weeks/days :) I hope you get a reassuring update and one to get your hopes up :) Have fun baking, you'll have to post a pic of your attempts hehe.
AFM - not much to say really :) still in discomfort but had a good nights sleep last night, first in a long while :) Baby dude is so manic these past couple of weeks he can't keep still and the tummy is forever moving about from this side to that, it's fascinating to watch but sometimes not so comfy. Haha I keep calling him Benny when he's being naughty (that's his Dad's name lawl!).
Come on out you babies, your lovely mummies are waiting....xx

Lee lee- today I'm having it all without a care in the world haha!!
Imp- I don't really trust fundal measurements as it depends on how baby is lying
Bertie- what baby out methods are you trying today?? I think a hot curry is for dinner and possibly bake a pineapple cake haha!
16/04/2014 at 08:55
monnie - good plan! Are you still gonna test though to see what the reading would be, could be interesting haha :) Have fun!

Leelee yay to a good nights sleep. Those big movements are crazy sometimes aren't they. I constantly get feet etc poking out of me.
Monnie I give up on the baby out methods! I have tried dtd, long walks, bouncing on ball, spicey food. Although I may try pineapple today, I hear you have to eat about ten though lol. Maybe your pineapple cake is a good idea!
Me too wispa!
We went to the vets last night for our cats annual booster jab and she is half a kilo overweight! We can't even look after a cat properly and soon we will have a baby! Lol, she is the worlds laziest cat though to be fair, just tried playing with her and she just lays down meowing at the toys.

Bertie I hope something kicks off for you soon. Happy baking today, what're you making? I think our cat might be a little bit overweight too!
LL yay for a good nights sleep, it makes such a huge difference, doesn't it? Glad that baby is moving around so much.
Monnie I hope you get some help with the bp soon, I can understand why you're fed up.
16/04/2014 at 10:40
I'm hanging around for baby news too! There has to be some soon :)
Wispa - Bumps in the pub sounds fun, glad you had a good time!
Monnie - Hope you get some answers soon! In the meantime enjoy your afternoon tea.
Imp - Hope the midwife app goes well and you enjoy the sunshine :)
Bertie - Hope you have fun baking and the baby gets moving soon!
LeeLee - glad you had a good nights sleep, I have a very active bump too, keep telling it that it is a pain in the bum just like its Dad!
AFM - Still not much to report. Feeling generally sicky all the time but not actually being sick, which is just a bit tiring! Baby is super active, wiggling constantly which is lovely, but also draining! Overall I can't really complain though! Have my 31 week midwife appointment today, will be interesting to see how much little one has grown, lots of people have mentioned in the last week that I have got a lot bigger so think they can have had a growth spurt!

Hello Vix, sorry you're feeling stick. How long has it been back for? I hope the mw goes well today.
My mw appt went well, I'm not massive after all! Although, she couldn't get blood out of my arms so sent me down to phlebotomy so I now have 3 puncture wounds. Ouch! She has also sent off a referral to physio for me, no idea how long I'll have to wait but at least I'm in the system now.
16/04/2014 at 12:25
Please may I come back? Even for a (hopefully) short while?!
Wispa - fresh and energetic in 3rd tri?! Good on you girl. I had a spell like that, it was lovely, keep it up :) How is Wispa doing settling these days? Sorry if I've missed posts. Hope the class later is enjoyable.
Monnie - you poor ol' thing. I feel for you. It's such a bloody roller coaster, each time getting results and dealing with them, although your ticker has whizzed along a little whilst I wasn't looking. Not ideal but if you're having difficulties you could end up meeting your baby much sooner than your due date which would help minimise the horrible limbo.
Hey Imp - I have seen bump pics of you, I don't think you look massive! Sometimes it when folk see you in a different outfit or they sort of 'forget' you're preggo and it surprises them again. I have that when I go from long to short hair, people have seen me since but don't click, IYSWIM. Glad you've for a referral for physio, hopefully that will go a long way to making those last few weeks less difficult and help keep you mobile :)
Bertie - hope you're doing okay and not too disheartened by being over. I definitely vote there should be a 'due period' not a 'due date', it's too much! Focusing on one particular date when you might be someone who naturally belongs in the 42 weekers club! :) I know what you mean about trying everything. I've given up on spicy foods but doing stairs, ball, sex. Still nowt. What are you baking? I can't be bothered but it sounds like such a great idea! Hope MW appt is okay.
LeeLee - glad you had a good sleep, even every now and then a boost on the sleep front can make you feel do much better. Sleep is definitely nature's best medicine - after laughter :) Hope the movements aren't too uncomfortable. It can really hurt sometimes! Have you a biggie or a littlie or something in between?
Vix - feel for you on the nausea front. Sometimes it feels as though just being sick then getting on with your day would be better than the constant nag of it, and trying to tailor what you eat to suppress it. I find pastry foods (pies etc), crisps and potato are good for keeping nausea at bay, and then they kick off the heartburn! Hope MW appt is fine.
AFM - same as. Sick of every time I need to move being a nightmare, I'm so sore from all the contractions. Still getting heartburn, even just from a drink of water in the morning before I get up! Baby moving is painful. Blah, blah, blah. Not long now, p'raps :)

Imp - Have had the nausea back for about 3 weeks or so now, it is fine during the day but in the evenings it is pretty horrible. It does seem worse if I am hungry so think it might be my body telling me to up my food intake a bit. Glad your appointment went well, hope the physio referral doesn't take long.
Counter - Hope baby Baxter gets on the move soon for you! I have been eating a lot of 'beige' foods as they seem to help - cereal before bed is my new coping mechanism!
Trifle - Hope this is the start of things for you!
AFM, midwife appointment was ok, bloods came back good, blood pressure is low - but average for me. Bump is still measuring small so I am off for a growth scan tomorrow. I am sure everything is fine, think bump is just all baby, but not going to say no to another peek at the little one!
Side note - I had a Mr Whippy ice cream this afternoon, then after eating it remembered I was sure I had seen something about avoiding them during pregnancy. Please someone reassure me that I am going mad or that it is one of those over the top 'you must live on air and scrubbed vegetables during pregnancy or you will die' type risks?!
16/04/2014 at 16:54
Counter have a big hug from me. I would be going mad by now, you're doing very well. I hope Baxter gets a wriggle on.
Trifle I hope baby moves for you too.
Vix I bet everything will be fine at the scan, as you say it's great to see baby again. I think the mr whippy thing is to do with bacteria in the pipes, so as long as you don't feel unwell I think it'll be fine.
