Hi ladies been no 3rd tri posts since Saturday, are we all ok?
I've had a manic week at work so far, getting stressed about my handover now so going to speak to my boss today and try and step back mire from things as currently I'm still involved in everything!
other than that baby wise all ok, had a lovely weekend at my baby shower and antenatal. Baby was spoilt rotten, was so unexpected and very grateful I have Friday off work so plan on sorting all the presents out and washing some of the newborn stuff

Morning. Haven't been able to get on for a few days, is everyone alright?
I'm 37 weeks today so baby is welcome to arrive any time from now! I don't know how I'm going to cope with waiting for them to arrive. Only a week and a half to go at work, at least that will keep me busy and hopefully make time go a bit quicker.
Just started one at the same time so copy and pasted! I couldn't get mum drum to work the other day on my phone and had a busy weekend.
Mrs l thats lovely that baby was apolitical at your baby shower. Hope your boss can take bits away from you easily so you're not doing everything.

27+4 so think i'm 3rd tri now? Yay!
MrsL-baby shower sounds lovely. I'm also stressed at work as they started my maternity cover at 24 weeks (?) so i have to plan both our work at the mo, meaning more work and late nights for me!
Bunny-you are so nearly there!
AFM- other than lack of sleep combined with long working days, all is going well. Just feel a bit like i've been pregnant ages but still have ages to go if that makes sense. Baby v active which is lovely!

MrsL: baby shower sounds lovely. Have you got any photos of what you got (I'm so nosy!!)
Bunny: How exciting to reach term, have you started any of the old wives tales to start encouraging baby to arrive or will you leave it to mother nature? Last time I found eating pineapple 'burnt' my tongue but I might have some spicy food starting next week!
Rio: Welcome to the 3rd tri! The tiredness is not fun, hope you're able to start sleeping a bit better. Love an active baby
AFM: Sorry been very busy making sure everything was finished for my last day at work yesterday & whipped my H into shape to get things sorted at the weekend. Now I've finished work I feel I can concentrate on getting organised. I love the fact that some of my colleagues told me to enjoy putting my feet up & resting, clearly they don't have toddlers!! Still I'm looking forward to spending more quality time with Isobelle as she's got quite clingy recently which is probably due to me not spending time with her. At nursery on Monday she helped write a story & basically named 1 of the characters after the name we've chosen for the baby! My mil asked her what we were going to call him but luckily it was on skype & Isobelle was eating breadsticks so apparently you couldn't make out what she said!
I've got my 36 mw appointment today & she's coming to the house to talk through my homebirth. I'll also find out if I'm still measuring big so might get a growth scan. I really don't think he's that big but I'm actually quite excited by the idea that I might get to see him again!! Also need to check I have everything as I 'allowed' my homebirth from next Thursday so want to make sure I've got everything I need. Eeek, getting a bit real now!!
Hi to all who follow x x

Bunny yay to full term!
Mrs L glad you had a lovely day, I'm having a 'DEFINITELY NOT a baby shower do type thing' in a fortnight soooo looking forward to the afternoon tea though as menu looks fab (it's all about the food for me )
Rio - welcome to third tri
Bk - how lovely to have finished. Hope the mw goes well
Afm - still in building hell, waiting on the council coming to do checks today (apparently this is the slow bit! I am getting a teeny bit stressed to think baby might be sat amongst the rubble ), 8 shifts left to work, seems to be dragging and I'm more than ready to finish, no idea why I'm moaning, I do sit down all day lol. Was thinking that at some point I need to have a think about my hospital bag which still isn't done :-/
Arrrrgh vvvv unorganised (I say this as I'm sitting with a cup if tea lounging on couch lol

Welcome to 3rd tri rio! Hope the time doesn't drag too much for you.
Bk I've started having 2 cups of raspberry leaf tea a day now, got a hot curry in the cupboard we will have at some point next week and I'm trying to bounce on my ball lots rather than sitting still on the sofa. That will be lovely being able to spend some time with I. Hope the midwife appointment goes well.
Rf I hope everything is signed off by the council so you can get onto the next stage. Hospital bag might be a good idea ;)!

MrsL - glad you had a lovely baby shower, hope you can get things with work sorted.
Bunny - yay for being full term!
Rio - welcome to 3rd tri, I'm also having difficulties sleeping and an active baby. Must be the stage we're at!
BK - how lovely that you're now on mat leave, enjoy your time with I.
TRF - I hope the council get their butts in gear and have got the checks done. The end is in sight with work!
AFM - I've been suffering from sore hips and walking like an old lady in the evenings, and little miss has been very wriggly in the middle of the night, which is all conducive to a good night's sleep, not! Otherwise, I'm well. I got my GTT results back and they were all in the normal ranges so I'm pleased about that. I've been buying a few outfits and waiting for pay day before I make some bigger purchases.
Hope everyone else is ok.
