I'm grumpy! H was up v early to go to Belgium so I've not had much sleep and now I have a day of me and the boy alone, going to stop and my mums tomorrow and Friday night for some company. Tomorrow I have a consultant appt I'm not happy about, apparently they think Jude was low birth weight, I don't think he was so I hope she's reasonable.

Hope you feel better as the day goes on, what did Jude weigh when he was born?
I'm ok here, 9+2 today, symptoms have eased a fair bit which would have me panicking if we hadn't had the scan on Friday. I'm still pretty tired though. Had a good day yesterday, apart from forgetting my bank card when I went to Tesco! Luckily I realised as we went in the shop and didn't fill my trolley! I had enough cash to buy last night's tea so it wasn't a complete disaster. I actually cooked a proper meal for last nights tea for the first time in weeks and it was lovely! Having the left overs tonight :)
My friend took M to her house yesterday afternoon so I could rest, it was fab, I sat with my feet up for an hour and a half. And today after nursery she has her swimming lesson which H takes her to, so that'll be some quiet time after work, yay!
Off to get ready for work - have a good day all ill try to pop back and reply later x

Morning Grumpy! I mean Isis :)
WE - yay to quiet time!
I hardly slept. Hot then cold then hot then cold then...
Worrying about today's scan. Feel dreadful. Awful. And have got our monthly management meeting today and it's only my third one so I have to pretend to be on the ball!!! Hurumph.

Weekender, I do love quiet time! Jude was 5lb15.5oz, I'm 5ft and he's always been around the 2nd/9th centile. First of all the mw calculated his birthweight wrong and said he was 2400g instead of the 2710g he was and then another midwife has plotted his weight on the personalised growth chart wrong, when me and H do it we birth independently got it on the line but she plotted it below the line so I'm hoping the consultant will see that. Can you tell I'm a bit stressed by it all?! I don't want extra scans etc, I want a calm peaceful home birth.
Counter, good luck today x

Counter good luck today, what time is the scan? Hope your meeting goes well.
Isis, hope the consultant is on the ball x

Morning all, didn't get back for personals yesterday so grabbing 5 mins before work on the laptop.
Isis - know what you mean about the early start my H is off to Plymouth for the day with work so was up on some unsociable hour, hope you get on ok at the consultant appointment and they decide it was all rather un needed.
Counter - Loads of luck for your scan today, let us know how you get on.
Weekender - Enjoy another quiet afternoon, have you got a nice nap planned on the cards?
9+1 here and a more positive post from me this morning, managed to keep last nights dinner down which in turn has meant i feel less sick this morning. Watched the midwife's on tv last night and sobbed like a baby. Hoping for a quiet day at work and then will follow that up with a nice relaxing ride this afternoon.
Happy hump day everyone

I watched it too pp, was good but sad in parts. Glad you're feeling a bit better today.

Sorry you're feeling grumpy Isis when H is on shifts he's sometimes up ridiculously early - I know what you mean about missing the boy though it's been 6 1/2 weeks since H went and around 11 before he's back so hopefully the next few weeks will go as fast and these first few have! Hope the consultant is good, they don't usually want to do things unnecessarily as it's extra resource for them.
W/E oh dear that sounds like something I would do! I've filled up at the petrol station before then realised I had taken my cards out but luckily had H's spare one for emergencies - that was definitely one. Glad you've managed to get a bit of rest and hope it continues.
Counter massive vibes for today - I'm sure the scan will be fine let us know how you get on. Don't worry about the meeting just wing it I'm sure it will be fine!
PP hello date twin! Glad you're feeling better and managed to keep some food down and you get to ride later - I didn't watch the midwives programme but might have to find it on record.
AFM feeling pretty much the same as usual - a bit rubbish and quite nauseous but not been sick the last couple of days and it's not really that bad - just constantly there! My skirt is a little tight today but in hindsight a pencil one probably wasn't the best choice. I've got a ncie quiet week this week with literally just work and then home to veg so I'm making the most of it xxx

Isis - hope you start to feel better soon
WE - don't worry to much about the lack of symptoms, they could come back at any time, its crazy how much mine have changed from one day to the next!
Counter - scan's are always a nerr wrecking time, try to go with an open mind and think of the positive outcome, let us know how you get on won't you
PP - i watched it to and cried like a baby!
grif - hope things stay quiet for you and you can enjoy it whilst it lasts!
AFM - no sickness this morning so far, went home from work at lunch time yesterday and worked from home, i woke myself up in the night as i had roled on my stomach so that made me panic!
what are all of your due dates in here?
21/08/2013 at 09:34
PP - great news re dinner, hope it's the start of a sea change :)
Grif - glad to hear you're not overdoing it
NLH - my date (my reckoning) is 8th April but my son was 17 days over so I take it with a pinch of salt!
Scan is 4.30 at Kings Hill, so leaving work awkwardly super-early. I'm sort of more worried for Andy really. I have lots of awareness of unsuccessful pregnancies, me, my sis, my mum etc. But he's being super-optimistic. Although, thinking about it, that might be to try and gee ME up!!
21/08/2013 at 09:48
Nlh I still sleep on my front, I'm making the most of it whilst I can!
I'm due 25th February, 13+1 today.
21/08/2013 at 09:55
iSIS - That doesnt seem l;ow to me. P was only 6lb1oz. Hopefully the consultant will see sense.
WE - i am envious of you being able to put your feet up!!
counter - good luck today. update us later
PP - glad you're feeling better. I watched the MW thing too, i hadn't realised there would be so much about baby loss!
grif - glad you haven't been sick again. Perhaps the pencil skirts will need to stay in the wardrobe for awhile! I find anything tight on my tummy makes me feel worse.
NLH - glad you feel better. Enjoy being able to sleep on your tummy whilst you can.
AFM - sickness has been a tiny bit easier in last 2 days, which of course has worried me. Never happy!! I'm SO tired though, this bit is so much harder with a toddler to run after compared to last time. Not much going on until booking in with MW on friday.
21/08/2013 at 10:00
Isis - Hope the consultant appointment goes well. Surely its not that low a birth weight considering your frame?
WE - Glad you are managing to get some rest.
Counter - Good luck for todays scan. I'm sure it will be fine.
PP - I missed midwives last night, I'm now thinking I'd best avoid it!! Glad you are feeling a bit better.
Grif - I've been avoiding pencil skirts for weeks now! Hope the sickness gets better soon.
NLH - My due date is 27 February. Maybe to need a pregnancy pillow that would stop you rolling over?
AFM - Nothing much to report really. I went on FB last night and a friend of a friend had announced her pregnancy at 5 weeks!!! I couldn't believe it. I hope all is well for her sake. Loads to do today so need to crack on really, how dare work get in the way of MD!
21/08/2013 at 10:05
AR try to ignore the symptoms, I know it's hard but mine changed so much day to day and all is fine. I don't think his weight was low either, I'm just hoping the consultant is sensible.
MrsV, 5 weeks is rather early! I told some of my best friends but wasn't public. I am now though, the lying was killing me lol
21/08/2013 at 10:32

Measuring at 12weeks today which is what i thought myself until epu put me back a few days. EDD of the 5th march! Baby was bouncing and wriggling about quite the thing! It was wonderful! *happy*
