I am trying to get over the shock of the good news yesterday so looked for the 1st tri and couldn't see one so thought I'd jump in and start it off. For those that don't know me I've got a one year old who eventually came along 2 1/2 years after ttcing and I always assumed I'd struggle again to conceive so didn't think much of getting a bfp quickly never mind without actively trying so the positive test was a shock and then the scan yesterday even more so. All going well I will have a 20 month age gap.
I am shattered but we've just moved house along with my little one being in hospital for 3 days on the day we were moving out so I was putting the tiredness down to all the stress but maybe it's time to accept its due to a baby. My symptoms before started about 7 weeks but I'd very much like to miss the sickness this time.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and hope I am a better tri person that I was last year as I never had time to post properly.
Have a good weekend. X

Hi TP! I think I've worked out who you are (got you on FB). I'll send you a PM as I don't want to out myself here, haha! Anyway, mega congratulations on your lovely news! I've got absolutely everything crossed for you!
AFM, 7+2 today and counting down to our early scan (booked for 8+1). Today is the second day in a row that I've woken with backache, must be lying on it funny in my sleep. I've also been getting occasional stabbing pains in my lower abdomen which only last a second before going away, maybe one pain every three ish days. It's mostly on the left side, so now I'm driving myself crazy googling ectopic pregnancy! Oh well, only six days til I'll find out!

TP - So lovely too see you on here this morning! Hope you get to miss the sickness this time! Don't worry if you don't get to post as much as you want too :) Just pop in when you can!.. Lovely age gap you will have!
Hubby asked us to have a nice age gap between ours - His sister has a big age gap between hers and he said they are a nightmare together haha!
MG - I am sure with out the other symptoms of ectopic you should be fine! - I get cramps quite often on one side around the same time you are... I occasionally still get them.
AFM - Feeling alright slightly sick this morning. Back to being on my own for a few days! I can keep a tidy house that way haha!
Nothing else really to report just plodding along lol

Hey TP, lovely to see you here...hoping for an uneventful pregnancy for you.
MG, I'm now curious as to whether I know you?
Hope feeling sick passes CC, and that you've enjoyed your own company.
AFM - my last 1st tri thread...ahhh! People say it drags in but it's flying for me, I can't believe it! I've been feeling better these last few days, more energy and less sucky, so hoping that the magical 2nd tri flowing phase is upon me. It's been lovely ladies, and I can't wait to see you all on 2nd tri.

CC - hope your sickness doesn't come to anything. Enjoy your tidy house!!
Saf - can't believe you're off to 2nd tri. See you there soon!
At a friends for a BBQ today, typically it's just started to rain. Toying with telling our friends today while we're here but will wait and see how it goes! 11+4 today.

A newbie here! I have briefly posted in TTC but as of this afternoon I am officially here! H and I have been married 2 months and decided to see how things went ttc and we have been very very lucky to conceive the first month. I believe I am about 5 weeks, had awful cramping and backache at about 10days dpo for 2 days which was apparently implantation. I haven't felt particularly sick (yet) but my nose is much more sensitive, I do have a strong stomach but I don't think that really helps in pregnancy.
Anyway here is to a very uneventful 8months and good luck to all of you. I look forward to getting to know you all.

DD - Hope the BBQ was good! and it stopped raining!
Elsie - Welcome to 1st tri! Congratulations!

Macgirl it's nice to know a tri buddy that I've met in real life so I'm glad you worked it out x
CC I'm often on my own during the week and love having a tidy house. Plus of its messy then that's ok as it's all my mess which of course is acceptable! I'm not so sure the age gap is that good but I'm just happy that things are going ok for now. A friend who has the same gap said that it's fine and she doesn't know any different to know if a bigger one is easier or better so that was good to hear as it's totally true. I will just deal with it even if I don't ever straighten my hair again! X
Saffron woo hoo to 2nd tri. I'm still delighted for you. X
Debby hope you enjoyed the BBQ. The weather has been the pits hasn't it. I'm wanting some good days so the wee guy can go on the grass (which is a novelty as we had stones in the last garden) but it's never stayed dry long enough. X
Elsie welcome to md and congratulations x
I'm shattered as I've been up and down since 3am with the little one unsettled. I can feel a tooth but it's not quite ready to break through yet so think the sleepless nights will continue. I'm still Breastfeeding so luckily that sends him back to sleep but at 5.30 it's game over and he wants to get up. I'm counting down the hours until nap time! X

Hope you're feeling better today CC. I know what you mean about the house being tidier! My H just got back on Friday and it's already a tip!
Saffron- sorry to see you go, but hopefully will join you soon! I don't think you'll know me, I just know TP through hitched of old! She's the only old hitcher I have on FB.
Debbydoo- yeah, we should definitely get a meet up! Did you decide to tell your friends?
Hi and welcome Elsie!
TP- I'm glad I was right! Imagine if I'd pm'd a random, they would have thought I was nuts! Hope the wee one slept a bit better last night.
JJ- sorry you're still not feeling good. Hopefully second tri brings less sickness for you!
15/06/2014 at 15:25
TP - Haha! I think any age gap is going to be okay you make it work! Even if you never get to get your straightners out ever again lol!.
Hope you managed to get some sleep!
JJ - Sorry to hear that your nausea has come back with a vengeance, hope the tablets help you break your record soon!
MG - I hope you are okay :)
My hubby makes a massive mess in the kitchen! It's like a bomb has gone off! bless him!
Feeling really nauseous today.. pretty much all day and struggled to eat some lunch... but cant complain I am no where near how bad JJ has it bless her!
Hubby told one of his friends last night who's excited for us.. we weren't planning on telling anyone but we have his wedding to go to in Aug and it happens to be our 16th week which will be the week I have an extra scan and didn't want to let them down last min if I have to be admitted to hospital!
I am trying to put off doing my housework today! 10 days until my booking in appointment yay!

Oh JJ that sounds awful. I know how horrid normal ms can be without it being extreme so I feel for you. Hope it eases for you soon.
Mac girl and debby I have you both on Facebook if you want me to get you both in touch on there. I've got saffron as well on there.
CC my day has been full of housework. 90 mins of ironing and far too long cleaning bathrooms but it's done now.
