What are we all up to this weekend? We're off to a bathroom showroom to get some ideas for doing up our ensuite. After that I'm hoping to pop somewhere and buy F a duvet and pillow reading for the transition to his cotbed.
Pregnancy wise, no more spotting since late yesterday afternoon so fingers crossed that's it. BK, has yours died down completely now?
Have a good weekend ladies.

Weather girl glad the spotting has stopped. Hope you get some good ideas for your ensuite.
Sorry I haven't got on much this week. Yesterday was our booking in appointment. It didn't start off well when I forgot to pick up my notes And had to go back home. We were 10 minutes late but luckily they were half hour late, although seeing as our appointment was 8:30am I'm not sure how they had managed that! Anyway the midwife we saw was lovely we spoke to her about k and after going through the normal forms she booked in our 12 week scan so we have the date for that and booked us an appointment with the genetic midwife next week. She will arrange an early scan for us and the CVS. It sounds like if the CVS comes back clear we can be midwife led and if not we will go from there. We might need to see a consultant as well at some point either to sign us off to midwife led or not. We felt like everything is under control which is good, but it was quite emotionally draining too. Made it feel more real! I also told my head because of all the appointments we will have over the next 4 weeks. She was so happy for us which was great as I've been worried about How people might react. sorry that was a bit of an essay!
Morning WG! Glad to hear your spotting has stopped, I hope it stays that way and doesn't give you anymore to worry about. Planning a new bathroom sounds good - hope you get some inspiration :)
Afm - I'm so much happier than when I last posted. I've even got myself a ticker at last now! I'm 13 weeks tomorrow so it won't be long til I'm officially 2nd tri. Can't believe it! I had my scan on Wednesday and all the bleeding in the gestational sac had disappeared which was amazing news and baby was wriggling and kicking about like crazy. Today I'm hoping to go play with pushchairs in mother care/kiddicare if I can convince my H!

Ooh took so long replying I missed you bunny. Glad you are feeling positive and the head reacted well I can imagine it's hard knowing what other people will think but ultimately as long as you and H are happy & ready for another baby then nobody else's opinion matters x

WG: glad to hear you've had no more spotting, me neither. Fingers crossed that's it for spotting for us! Enjoy bathroom shopping
Bunny: Glad that your booking in went well yesterday, it's great that you have an understanding head
PS: Must've been great seeing your baby moving around. Enjoy pushchair shopping, I remember being amazed at all gadgets they come with!
MrsL: Will be nice to get the ball rolling for you, enjoy the day with your Nan.
AFM: No spotting since the tiny amount on Thurs eve so hopefully it was nothing. I am starting to feel more nauseous 1st thing the morning so will need to take 1 of the many snacks I bought yesterday into my bedroom to eat straight away. Last time I was ill in week 6 for 3 days. I wasn't sure if it was pregnancy related or something I ate so being slightly more aware this week. I've been ravenous the last week but today I haven't eaten that much & have a stomach ache so looks like I've hit the wall & my appetite will go down. (It's so hard not to compare it to last time), so maybe I won't end up showing for a bit now! I've still got 2 weeks till my gp appointment but I'm hoping that means everything is spread out so I've got gp in 2 weeks then hopefully have the mw booking in 2 weeks after that then hopefully 2 weeks after the scan. My mum is also coming in 2 weeks so even though it's early (I'll be 8 weeks) if all is well we'll tell her in person. Last time I didn't tell her until 10 weeks when we did a surprise announcement at my sisters birthday bbq - although my sister beat me too it & announced she was 11 weeks pregnant- quite a funny afternoon!!
(sorry for the waffle my laptop switched itself in between so lost the thread slightly)
Have a good weekend all x

MrsL - enjoy the countryside! the weather is lovely this weekend too!
AFM - I had a fab day in Brighton yesterday for my friends hen do! So tired this morning though. Pregnancy wise, I have totally lost my appetite. it isnt down to the nausea, Im just not hungry. I am eating for the sake of it.. its hard!! Think I may have a yeast infection too, (not had one before to know) but its not the most comfortable!
I hope you're all having great weekends! xxx

sorry Blackkat I missed you!
pleased that the spotting has stopped! :) Having a snack by your bed is a great idea! That will help I'm sure with nausea. it's great that your appointments are all spaced out, gives you something to look forward to without large gaps between them. I've had to wait 4 weeks until midwife appt, its taking a long time to come round! xx

Blackat glad to hear your spotting has stopped. I like the sound of bedside snacks!
Boo glad you had a great day at the hen do. Make sure you take it easy today.
We are off to London today for a meal for my friends birthday. Hoping they don't notice that I'm not drinking!

Boo: Glad you had a nice day in Brighton, hope the weather held out for you. Sorry to hear about the yeast infection, hope it clears up pretty smartish
Bunny: Enjoy your meal in London & hope you can get anyway without anyone commenting on your lack of drinking.
AFM: Well the bedroom snack didn't go to plan as I literally couldn't eat it this morning. Felt the roughest I've felt so far. I felt fine on waking (or being woken up by toddler i should say) went to get her up & just about made it through changing through a rather nice nappy when I had to go & sit back down due to feeling dizzy & sick. Luckily my hubby was awake so I went back to sleep for a bit. Gradually starting to feel better but the thought of eating is not good. Really hope it doesn't last for too long & this isn't the start of things to come. Dreading going to work tomorrow, especially the thought of teaching PE in the afternoon but hopefully I can grab an indoor space so it won't be as bad as skipping in the rain on the field last week!
Hi to anyone else who follows if not catch you in the week! x
