I've had another epic sleep today, although not as comfortable previous nights. Going shopping today with best friend, she is 12weeks pregnant so that should be fun. x

Hi Coco and Ali :) I'm on my phone so reply will be slow so apologies if anyone else posts while I'm responding!
Coco - No plans here - I've 6 days in a row to work from tomorrow so taking today to do nothing!
Ali - It's nice you've pregnant friends to do stuff with. Have fun shopping!
AFM - I'm 4+6 today (actually should I be using my LMP dates or the dates I think I am?) Anyway... as I said before today I'm hoping to do nothing but my H has just reminded me we need to gonto Sainsburys (damn!) - I booked our early scan yesterday for 31st January, I would of liked it sooner but H wanted it as late as possible.

Coco - chilled weekend sounds good - can't believe your H's eye regressed after 6 years. I had mine done in 2005 when I was pretty young. Hope you get a scan date soon
Allypops - hope the shopping is fun - almost 6 weeks for you!
PS - yey to booking your early scan. Hopefully time will fly by. I used my LMP dates as that''s what the hospitals all seem to do.
AFM - 9.6 today i think. Still waiting for scan date but should hear within the next week or so and I have checked I'm definitely in the hospital system. Bit nervous that my scan date will be the one date in january I just cannot do, as I have a court date for work and just can't get out of it. Hoping, hoping, hoping it won't be that date. I'm having a chilled weekend and first time in ages have literally nothing to do all weekend which is lovely, Will probably go out for dinner or takeaway with H tonight once he is back from football. I'm in London/South east and it feels like it hasn't stopped raining for about a week. So glad I don't have to go out in this!

Just waving goodbye to you ladies for now. See you all on 2nd tri soon! :)

Goodbye Imp!!! hopefully catch up with you soon!

CeeJay - I know docs will use LMP to begin with but I meant when posting here should I? If I use LMP I'm 6+6 so its quite a difference in these early stages! I hope your scan date arrives soon and isn't on the date you can't do x

Ali - enjoy shopping with your friend :-)
PS - 6 days straight....ouch! Put your feet up! At least the later you leave the scan the more you'll be able to
Ceejay - H is so disappointed...there was lifetime guarantee but ultralase went into administration and optimax who now own them want £200 an eye to look at them! Not willing to do that for just 6yrs! I hope you get your date through soon. Enjoy your chilled one. We're in Essex and it's been the same here.
Imp - see you soon :-)

PS on here I used 'my' dates as I knew the dates based on LMP were wrong!

Been shopping with my pregnant best friend today, she is 12 weeks. We popped into mothercare to check out the prams etc.
Were told about a deal that's available in January only due to sale prices. Basically, 'The Baby Plan' you pay 10% refundable deposit on a pushchairs/prams/car seats (must spend over £100 but easily done!) this then holds the item at the sale price for 6 months - during which time you can make payments or if you change your mind you get a refund on it. My friend ended up purchasing her pram/car seat today for only £430 instead of nearly £650 because of the sale. Even better she's only paid £43 deposit! Also, if you spend over £100 you get an extra 15% off until end of tomorrow.
Although, I'm only 6 weeks pregnant, I must admit this is a stonkingly good deal and myself and OH are tempted to place a refundable deposit just to hold the sale price!

Hurrah!! I'm 5 weeks today! :)

I've been a bit crap on the weekend thread haven't I!?
Will make more of an effort next week I promise ;)
Goodbye and good luck to our lovely Imp!

You'd better Ducky!! :P I only ended up having to work 90mins today so I'm home again now (thankfully!) :D

Ali - does sound a good deal but do test a few out and check prices elsewhere...last time round I found mothercare could be expensive compared to others.
PS - yay to another milestone!
Ducky - weekends are hard to post at times...we'll let you off! ;-)
Afm -A productive day yesterday in the end as we ordered O's toddler bed (decided to use existing corned for number 2)...it's a I've one and a real snip at £40, plus it'll for his existing mattress so just need a new one for baby. Today we're slobbing around indoors...roast beef for tea courtesy of H...yummy!

Coco- good news about MW being nice and a bargain bed, well done.
Hi Ali, glad the shopping went well.
Ps- yay for 5weeks!
CJ fingers crossed the dates don't clash.
Good luck in s second tri imp.
AFM back to work tomorrow but I did what I need to do on Friday so I'm all ready for it now. Went on a 10 mile walk today which was nice and then took all out decorations down.

Hi all, A is napping so I'm going to make an attempt to contribute!
Coco - yay for ordering the new bed, £40 does sound like a bargain!
Alipops - is that Mothercare? They do have frequent sales I must warn you, and do the price-holding thing all year round. Honestly, I would wait, and have a real good think about your needs/wants from a pram.
PS - I've been using my LMP dates, I'm pretty sure I'll be re-dated at my scan but I don't know exactly how much by. If you know exactly, I'd use your 'real' dates personally.
CeeJay - hope the scan date comes through tomorrow and fx it's not the one date you can't do!
Imp - Wooohooo! See you soon!
Hi to Pep and Ducky!
Raincloud - glad you had a productive day on Friday. Wow a 10 mile walk, I'm impressed! We're in the midst of taking down our decorations too, I want them gone by A's birthday on the 11th.
AFM - starting to get a bit more nausea but no sickness yet thankfully. Had a lovely lunch out yesterday, A amazed us both by eating almost all of the kids' meal we got him (a whole lamb kebab plus some chips, pitta bread and houmous! It was almost an adult-sized portion!). A fairly productive day today, bought a new shower tap as ours has gone bust, and done some good tidying and sorting. Probably will take A to be weighed tomorrow and just enjoy the last couple of weeks before I have to go back to work!
