Morning Coco, sorry to hear you've started with a cold. I know they really knock you for six in pregnancy dont they?! Hope you get over it very soon.
AFM: Had a bit of a lay in today but my cat will only tolerate it so much then she wont leave me alone so I have to get up! Going to have a lazy day today - I really need my hair cut but not sure I cba to get dressed and go out to get it done on a Saturday...I'll see how I feel. Have a good weekend everyone! x

Coco - hope your cold passes soon - plenty of fluids. & rest (if possible!)
Browny - I'm still in bed with the dog, she's a lazy scoundrel - anytime I take her a walk I usually end up having to carry her some of the way home! See how you feel in a bit, your hair can always wait :)
Afm - I really want to go eternity ring shopping! But I don't think I can be bothered heading into the city for it, just took a headache tablet & ate some toast, I'll see how I am in an hour or so.
Hi to all who follow - purple star hope you got some sleep last night x
25/01/2014 at 08:46
Not been around much, work is mega busy!
Coco - sorry to hear you're getting a cold, try a nice lemon and honey drink.
Browny - darn the cat waking you up...ours stay down in the lounge in the night or else they wake us up at 4am! I'd stay in, if I were you.
Sasasi - that sounds lovely, hope you feel a bit better after the tablets and toast. H still doesn't get the concept of eternity rings but I am working on it.
AFM - nothing much to report really. Boobs still sore, starting to feel like I have a hangover in the morning (which I am assuming is the start of morning sickness!). Meeting some friends for brunch this morning, and have to go out for BILs birthday tonight, can't see me lasting long though, I am shattered!
Hope everyone is well and has lovely weekends x

Haha, rest would be lovely but no chance with O in tow, and I have work later too...I'll live, just don't want to resort to tablets unless I can help it.
Browny -I agree a Saturday wait in the hairdressers doesn't seem too appealing..take it easy and see if you feel like it in a but.
SaSaSi - See how you feel, but I think a spot of ring shopping would make you feel tons better x
25/01/2014 at 08:53
Gavi - sounds like a nice day ahead...any chance of getting a nap in this afternoon? May help this evening. If it helps in my first pregnancy I had that hangover feeling early on, but I was never sick and after 6wks didn't suffer anything more than swollen ankles late on!
25/01/2014 at 09:44
SaSaSi - ring shopping sounds fun, but not sure I could be bothered today! Is this for him to give you at the birth? I keep hinting at H so I hope he gets me one!
Gavi - enjoy brunch. Yes feeling hungover is probably the start of your ms, although people get it in different strengths so you might still be one of the lucky ones yet! Having a nap is a good idea - think I will in the hope it helps me get through this evening with the ILs :(

Coco- hope the cold doesn't get too bad and you have a nice day with O.
Browny- not sure I could face Saturday in the hairdressers either! I feel your pain with an impatient cat too. Mine starts crying at 6 but if we let him in he just walks on my face and attacks my feet so it's not worth it haha
Sasasi- ooo ring shopping. Now that I would get out of bed for! Have a lovely day.
Gavi- naps all the way! I'm starting to feel a lot less tired now but still love a good nap! Hope you have a good evening though.
AFM- didn't get back on the back end of last week so will put my scan pic on now. Can't believe I have less than a week to go in first tri. Scary!! My best bloke mate is coming up today to celebrate our shared birthday. It's not til next month but he's away so doing it early. First night out not drinking without having to hide it or pretend I just wanted to drive! Looking forward to it!
Bah! Sorry for the double post. But yay my ticker finally works!
Hi to those that follow

Great pic Jonesy! Enjoy your night out tonight! x
25/01/2014 at 10:48
LLL - good luck with your scan- can't wait to see a photo
Jonsey - woo congratulations on your scan! Beautiful little baby bundle in there! Such a relief when it's out in the open
Coco - sorry to hear the coco household is a bit poorly. When is your scan date again?
Browny - every weekend for the last 2 months Ihave felt like that! Hopefully you will have a very chilled day
Sasasi - oooh eternity ring shopping sounds fun. if you get one today be sure to flash!
Gavi - I never had morning sickness but sort of felt I had a permanent hangover every morning! Hopefully won't be a late one for you tonight
AFM my scan redated me a couple days forward, so I was 12.4 on tuesday which now makes me 13.1 today! I guess just a couple more days before graduate to 2nd tri which scares me a little! I may even get a ticker!
Will pop into town today for a christening present for my friend's little boy. I find it really weird going to the shops now and not being really interested in clothes! Might have a look at some maternity gear
Hi to all who follow

ok I'm probably being a complete idiot but how do you get a ticker??
25/01/2014 at 12:10
I got mine from the bump.com and if you copy the non HTML code and paste in your forum settings it should work! Took me a couple goes on the iPad though cos I had to paste into notes first.
Have a nice time shopping ceejay

Coco- hope your cold feels better soon. Must be knocking you for six!
Browny-enjoy your lazy day. What hair style you going for?
Sasasi-eternity ring shopping how exciting! Have you got a specific design in mind?
Gavi- sore boobs seem to be my main pregnancy symptom too. Yesterday my bra felt so uncomfortable, so I think I'll have to pick my bras carefully and go for the bigger ones.
Jonsey, fab scan pick, have fun celebrating your birthday.
Second tri soon CJ- exciting!
AFM I went climbing this morn which was good. Doing some work on a commission now. H is at footsie with our nephew. Hail and a huge thunder storm here! Amazing lightening.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
26/01/2014 at 09:43
CJ - exciting you'll be in second tri soon!
Raincloud - wow climbing - you must have been feeling energetic! All I want to do is stay in bed most of the time!
AFM - I went to the party last night in the end and it wasn't so bad. I had a good afternoon nap and felt much better. I didn't get my hair done though as I felt shocking most of the day. I just said I was coming down with something so didn't want to stay over and meant I had the 'drive so cant have a drink' excuse. We got asked a few times about when we were having a baby and we just shrugged it off as usual. It annoys me that people think we'd openly discuss something so personal! X
26/01/2014 at 10:30
Jonesy - fab pics! Hope you had a fab early birthday celebration :-)
Ceejay - Can't believe you're nearly 2nd tri! Did you find anything in the shops? My scan is on the 7th :-)
Raincloud - fair play to you with the climbing. What sort of commissions do you do? I feel like a bad MDer not knowing!
Browny - people are so tactless when it comes to questions on kids...when people asked us when are you having another one, we just responded line day if we're lucky enough, the misconception it's just as easy as that annoys me. I was v lucky it was so quick this time, it wasn't the case last time round! Hope you had fun at the party x
AFM - If I didn't know better I could've sworn I'd felt movements the past couple of days...admittedly bump is huge already but I know baby is tiny so unlikely to be...must just be wind! ;-) Had a result in that I got asked to work early in the end yesterday, so had a nice evening with H watching movies! Lovely. O still has a nasty cough but is happy enough in himself and slept we'll...mine is mainly the snots, it's driving me nuts!

Browney, I had a good lie in so felt pretty good. My energy levels come and go so I make the most of it when I can. We got/get people asking similar, so annoying. One friend asked over a coffee just the two of us and I said that it wasn't working out too well but didn't go into more detail. A few months later at a huge BBQ she asked how baby making was going in front of everyone. I was pretty annoyed at her lack of thought. I think unless you have been in the situation of it not happening quickly you just don't get it.

Coco, think we cross posted. Im an artist, textile; paper and mixed media. I do 2d and 3d work. Both exhibit and sell. Currently I'm making journals out of vintage books. I take them apart, put them back together and add embroidery, quotes, envelope pockets and so on. They can be very personalised or general depending on what the customer wants. Glad you had a nice evening, hope O improves soon.

Browny - glad the party wasn't so bad. People are so blatent and nosey - had it so much at work
Coco - oooh not long until 7th. I've been told after the first 12 weeks it starts to fly by so hope that's true. I had a bump early and know most of it is bloating and placenta forming etc I guess. My tummy feels really hard to me
RC - can't believe your friend asked in front of people. Unbelievable. Your work sounds really interesting, specifically journals from vintage books. You should give us a flash.
Had my blood results yesterday and NT tests. Got 1 in 270 and screen negative. Does scare me - my friend got hers back at like 1 in a 1000 but I'm the age bracket over her, as I'm 30 and she's 29...... husband has pointed out to me that's still 99. something percent......
