Pregnancy wisr not much going on. Got my nuchal screening results letter back yesterday which is low risk so thats good to know.
Hope you all have lovely weekends.

Tomorrow it's gymnastics and a danceathon then the kids are going up to Aberdeen for a week. Eek! Looking forward to the peace but will miss them like mad :-(
Baby nice and wriggly. Been kicking my ribs half the night lol

Morning ck. Seems odd being in the same tri thread as you as you seem soooooooooo much more pregnant than me!!
12/10/2013 at 08:18
I'm in bed, chance of a lie in but I can't sleep :( busy day today, party then going to my friends to get some baby stuff I leant her then to see my parents. Tomorrow we've nothing planned and I can't wait!
Feeling loads of movements now which is lovely, can't wait til H can feel them too.
12/10/2013 at 08:21
Morning AR. I does sound like a busy day for you.Good news about the nuchal scan results.
CK that sounds painful! All my babys kicks are fairly low at the moment. Guess Ive got the rib kicking to come! Is your son enjoying the gymnastics now?
Im up early to go to the nct sale. No idea what to expect... will update with any bargains later! Meeting my friends for lunch so busy day for me.
12/10/2013 at 08:24
Morning Isis. Good news about the movements. My H is still waiting too!
Question ref borrowing baby stuff. how did you remember who gave you whaf? Only thing I can think of is taking pics.

Hi AR and welcome!!! So lovely to see you here safely in 2nd tri!
CK what will you do for a week???? Enjoy your weekend!
Isis it's always the way that you don't manage a lie in when the opportunity comes! Must be lovely to feel the baby so much!
We've were at my cousin's wedding last night (in Inverness so in a hotel) but we were both asleep around 10!! Ha ha!! My auntie Fiona looked horrified that I'm over 19 weeks and have no bump :( compounding my paranoia. I'm 5"11 and the baby is still tiny.....I'm sure things are fine! 20 week scan on Monday so hopefully get some reassurance then! Have a great weekend all!
12/10/2013 at 08:53
Sounds like everyone is pretty busy.
Welcome to second tri AR.
CK enjoy your break and hope the kids enjoy it.
Sweet pea everyone will have an opinion on you being big/small or whatever so I'd just ignore it all.
Mrs V is it big stuff you're borrowing? I'm sure you will remember.
Isis glad you're feeling lots nots now. My H actually felt movements at about 17 weeks.
Most of my movements are really low down, but big kicks now. I have an anterior placenta so guessing this is why. Had a few kids last night and this morning that felt like they were coming out my sides!
Has anyone seen AJ's Journey on FB? That little boy was born at 23 weeks, can't believe I'm more pregnant now than the gestation he was born at. Just can't imagine my baby coming now!
Not much to report pregnancy wise. No appointments etc until mid November when I have GTT and MW again. Next scan at 34 weeks.
Kids have their martial art lesson at lunchtime so I'm going to run over to Braehead for a hour. That's all I have planned really x

Morning folks - busy wee thread already!
AR, enjoy car test drive, what are you thinking of getting? Sounds like a nice busy day, have fun x
CK, your weekends always sound packed! Will be nice for the kids to go to Aberdeen bet it'll feel strange though
Isis, another with a nice day planned, enjoy your quiet day tomorrow. Yay for lots of movement x
MrsV, hope the nct sale is a good one, report back!
SP, I think in general the longer your torso, the smaller the bump - that's why I think my bump was small last time and I'm only 5'7. Are you in Inverness all weekend? Glad the wedding was good. Good luck on Monday x
LR, sounds like a nice relaxed day, well as much as it can be with two kids. I saw that AJs journey page, frightening isn't it?
Not much to report here, I'm still in bed and H has taken M to pick up stepson. Don't think we've got any plans for today yet, it's sunny though so maybe local country park or something. Then usual strictly/x factor tonight :)
Enjoy your day everyone x

SP - Have you ever seen I didn't know I was pregnant? These people don't have bumps!! Also I remember first time round I wasn't showing much at 20 weeks and the sonographer said it was because of my height, baby had more room to spread out. I'm 5 foot 8, so that might explain it? Good luck for the scan on Monday.
LR - It was mainly clothes I was worried about losing track of! No not seen AJ's journey, that's really scary! I know I don't have anything baby related until mid Nov when its my next midwife appointment.
WE - Hope you enjoyed your lie in. I'm hoping for one tomorrow. Enjoy your fresh air!
So NCT sale was great. Bought loads more than I intended to. I got a Rainforest baby gym, baby carrier, grobag, fleecy suit, baby bath, baby development book, baby towel, maternity jumper dress and 4 maternity tops all for the grand total of £58!! Amazing. Would recommend going along to one definitely but worth joining NCT to get in early.
Just chilling now ready for x factor tonight.

Late to the party today!
Was really looking forward to a lie in this morning but woke up at half 6 and couldn't get back to sleep. Popped out for a bit this morning so H could but clothes, had some lunch and then I've just had a two hour nap to prepare for going out tonight! Still not sure if I'll make it past 11 tonight but going to try!
Had a play with an icandy today while we were out. H has his heart set on one and I was against it but have to say I'm coming round to it although it seems like a lot of money to spend.
AR sounds like you've had a hectic day! What cars did you look at?
CK a whole week without the kids! Do you have anything nice planned?!
Isis, hope H feels the baby soon. Really can't wait to get to that stage.
Mrs V the NCT sale sounds like it was definitely worth it. What a good haul!
SP there's a girl I work with who is 25 weeks and barely has a bump, in fact I think we're the same size! There's about a foot difference in our height so I've convinced myself it's because her baby has more space so mine will need to grow out more (I'm only 5'1)
LR sounds like a fairly relaxed day. Will check out that AJ's page, I find those sorts of stories amazing.
Weekender, glad you got a lie in this morning! Hope M is a good girl for you this weekend ! Enjoy your chilled out evening.

Morning all. I'm about to head to yoga then home to cut the grass and to du the garden, hopefully for the last time this year! Need to clean out the guinea pigs and get them sorted for the colder weather. This is their first winter outside and I'm nervous already! I've bought them loads of cosy fleece blankets and insulation for their hutch so hopefully they will be ok. I can just see me sending H out to bring them in at 4am in the snow though!
I'm working for a bit later as well so busy day.
Hope everyone else has something nice planned x

Morning ladies! Hope you're all having a nice weekend. It's very wet and drizzly here this morning so I think we'll be having a lazy Sunday.... had a very hectic day yesterday at Ikea and then in Mamas & Papas where we ordered our pram and car seat (eek!) so a restful day is just what the Doctor ordered!
13/10/2013 at 09:48
Morning ladies :)
Quiet day planned here, stepson has football at 11:15 so just a quick trip to park this morning here. Hoping M will go with H as I too need to sort the garden for winter, it's a bit of a mess at the mo tbh.
Anyone been having weird vivid dreams? I had three or four last night! V strange
Rose, what pram did you get?
LR, you are always so busy! How's your sore hips?
Flossy, did you enjoy your night out last night?
MrsV sounds like you got some amazing bargains, you must be chuffed!
Hope everyone else is having a good day xx

I really want to do personals but am on my phone (so it's possible but annoying!) and am running late to pop to mum's (yuck) it was her birthday on the 1st!! I worked 70 hours across 6 days, we achieved brilliant things at work, and yesterday was a marvellous day off with hubby. Flu jab, fat-clothes shopping, lunch, tried a brand new little bar near us and then a friend had a reunion night - a local band we used to watch in our teens all turn 40 about now, my friend married the lead singer and he's now my son's head teacher so we know lots of the same people. The band were fab, had a little dance, a wee glass of Pinot, flirted with my husband and caught up with loads of friends, some from 21 years ago when I left school! Hubby was tipsy (very rare, and only 3 pints ha ha!) so we got a takeaway on the way home and fell asleep in each others' arms with the dog snuggled at our feet. Perfect!
Today is less dreamy! Husband left for work at 5am, I've got house-y stuff, food shop, dump some ingredients in the slow cooker, and lots of admin (behind on everything due to work), and a couple of hours in the office, but I have promised my son some us-time: duvet on the sofa, Ratchet & Clank on the PS3, Tim Minchin on the stereo and oversized hot chocolate with sprinkles and marshmallows. I wish Monday would never come!!!

Morning all - what are we all up to today? It's peeing down here but i've already been for a ride in it and later we are going to test drive another car. We've been looking at Skoda Octavia Estates and Ford Kugas. Loved the Octavia yesterday, so much space but they offered us peanuts in part exhange for our focus so we'll see what Ford can do today.
13/10/2013 at 11:52
We got the M&P Sola (in red- after much debate with the H!) and the Aton car seat - our parents are being wonderful and paying for it between them so very lucky :)
Enjoy your test driving AR- hope Ford offer a better deal for the p/e!

Hey ladies thought I would quickly get on on my mobile, can see you are all mega busy and had busy weekends
Will be able to get on tomorrow and do personals tomorrow when I'm in the office
Just wanted to tell you I got my first kick on Friday night. Soooo happy! Also went buggy shopping today and still can't decide between the bugaboo and the icandy if anyone can help let me know x
13/10/2013 at 18:38
Sorry been mega busy then after lunch felt really ill so after a trip to the bathroom I've spent the afternoon sleeping :(
Sweetpea, my friend is due the exact same day as me, I'm huge compared to her but she's much taller than me so her baby has more room!
Nlh, which prams? I'm getting a bugaboo bee, I really really regret not getting one when I first had my son 4 years ago. I went through lots of others instead!
13/10/2013 at 18:58
Either icandy peach 2 or the bugaboo cameleon
