Hey ladies, happly weekend!!
I'm off to work this afternoon, boo, but had a good sleep last night so feeling quite refreshed today. Yesterday I ordered the baby's steriliser - it's the first necessary purchase that I've made, everything else has just been pretty little sleep suits etc. Makes it feel much more real to be buying the necessary things rather than just the nice to have things! I'm having a baby!!! Eeek!
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday, I'll pop back after work to catch up and for personals xx

Morning Fig! I'm off to work this afternoon too :(
Eeek to buying the necessities! We've started gradually buying things to spread the cost. Glad you had a good night's sleep.

Fig - glad you had a gd nights sleep - makes all the difference! Hope work flies in for you. OH won't let me have anything for the baby in the house before it's born so I haven't bought anything except deposit on pram.
Lxia - hope work goes quick for you as well!!
Afm - still in bed with ice in my forehead - these hormonal headaches are awful! Going to get up & take dog a walk for some fresh air then spend rest of day on sofa - probably with more ice!
Hi to all who follow!
Fig - booooo to working Saturdays!!!! Brilliant you had a great sleep though and yay to ordering a steriliser.
Ixia - boooo to working Saturdays for you too. Hope its a quick one
AFM - well I've stumbled upon Britax prams and they've grabbed my attention. I'm going pram shopping with my mum on Monday because I've got a day off so I'll get a look at the Britax and also all the other prams on offer so I can start narrowing down my choices. Quite excited that I've seen something that I like.
Also planning on some car shopping this weekend. Going to test drive one this afternoon then I've planned a day of car garages tomorrow. Hopefully get something ordered soon.
In between the cars and prams I'm still in Operation Clearout mode. Hoping to get the last lot of clothes sorted through and that will mean that both mine and H's clothes will all be in the main bedroom and I can start filling the drawers through there with the babies clothes. Yay.
Happy weekend all.
Hi to all that follow xxx

Sasasi - missed you there. Aw poor you, try and get as much rest as you can today and hope you feel better soon. Maybe the fresh air will help a little? Sometimes its kill or cure isnt it??

Fig I dont envy you working this afternoon. I hope it goes fast for you. I was just looking at the boots parenting magazine at sterlisers. I was also looking at mam bottles, has anyone heard much about them?
Ixia boo to working for you too.
Sas I hope the headache passes soon. Have you tried that 4head stuff? Or those cool patches
CA enjoy the car shopping. Sounds like fun. How lovely that your clearing out will be done soon!
AFM- well rudimental were awesome last night, we has a good boogie and sing!! I'm off to see a friends 3 week old baby today which will be nice. Then off to excel tomo to look at the new icandy.
Out friends that were up stating with us have just offered us their crib and Moses basket, along with other things, very kind and we are absolutely going to borrow them!

Hiya! Not been around much this week, I hope you've all been well!
Figaro, I love buying stuff, it definitely makes it feel more real. Agree about the essentials being more real, too. I hoe work was slow and relaxing today.
Ixia I hope works as ok for you this afternoon, too.
Sasasi, I hope your headache eased today, does not sound like fun.
CA, pram AND car shopping, how exciting! And happy to hear operation clear out is going well.
Imp, enjoy the show tomorrow! I hope the new icandy is just as amazing as it looks online.
AFM, my week of half term was so so so tiring, I've never been so knackered in all my life, but I managed to get a seat on the tube and train every day after work, so happy about that. Today we basically finished packing up the house, so tomorrow is cleaning. It's not that bad, but the cupboards all need a wipe down and the floor needs a good Hoover and clean. Wispa has been so confused with all the boxes everywhere, I wonder how she will take to the new house? We move on Monday at midday, and I am SO excited!
But in baby news, I've just bought a few things. Changing pad and cover, cot sheets, and the ergo baby bundle with infant insert. The price has just dropped a bit at John Lewis, so I snatched it up. I get to play with it in the store, seeing how easy it was it clip on, etc. love it! Also played with the buffalo again, but waiting to buy to once we have the gift from my mom!
I will do my best to check in tomorrow with you lovely lot, but if not, I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Off to enjoy a delicious Byron burger now, mm

Ixia, hope work was okay yesterday.
SaSaSi, hope your headache has eased now? I found that paracetamol was the only thing to shift mine in 1st tri.
CA, how was car shopping? Hope you found something you like. Good luck with the rest of operation clear out!
Imp, so glad you had a good time at the gig! Enjoy today, hope you come back clutching your pram order confirmation! :)
Wispa, good luck for tomorrow! Fingers crossed that everyone goes smoothly.
Work was okay yesterday, but I was so tired when I got home that I went straight to bed for a 3hr nap! I'm turning into such an old lady. Yesterday was really sunny and we had great plans to bundle up and head down to the coast today for a walk and some chips, but it's threatening to pour down at any second so we're not going to chance it. Maybe we'll head into town later instead.
Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday x

Imp - that was so good of your friends to offer the baby stuff.
Wispa - hope the cleaning is going well. Glad everything is finally happening with the house.
Fig - I out a deposit down on the new Nissan Qashqai yesterday. I think it sounds like you should just have a chilled out day today.
AFM - even though I've put a deposit down on a car, I'm still planning to go to visit the car garages today to make sure I'm making the right decision. I feel a long day ahead of me.
Pregnancy wide, nothing to report which is good I suppose.
Hope everyone has a lovely day xx

CA, we've got a Qashqai, they're brilliant! I think *gavi* is looking at them, too.
Fig, sorry to hear weather might ruin your plans, and you're not alone with the old lady naps, I had one yesterday, too :)
Well, I had been feeling a bit grumpy with H because I had done most of the work packing for the move so far, but today he has cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and I'm about to supervise him rolling up our big rug . Meanwhile I get to watch the gold medal hockey game, hehe.

Hey everyone. Hope you've all had a nice weekend.
Fig- glad work wasn't too bad, there's nothing wrong with having old lady naps in the afternoon either! Hope you've found something fun to do today in the manky weather.
Ixia, hope work was ok for you too. Buying little bits as and when seems to be a good plan.
CA, glad you've found something you like pram-wise, and hope you have fun test driving cars today. H has a qashqai too, bought for kidlets. He really likes it, I don't drive it much but it's a nice car with a decent size boot which is needed when you start sticking prams, travel cots and all the myriad other baby bits needed in for a weekend away.
Imp, glad you enjoyed rudimental. Yay for friends offering baby bits, those are the sorts if bits which get grown out of so fast that if you can borrow it makes way more financial sense. Enjoy playing with the raspberry today. (That sounds odd out of context. )
Wispa, it sounds like a v tiring week, with more tiring to come this weekend and tomorrow- take it as easy as you can. Good luck tomorrow, hope everything goes very smoothly with the move, and that the new house is as fabulous as expected. (I'm deeply jealous, I really want to move and have more space but we can't unt H has 3 years of contracting books behind him. ) yay for baby purchases, the Ergo is supposed to be fab.
Afm, the Internet porting went wrong in Fri and sky say it may take until next weekend to fix, so I'm still on twitchy phone screen with only edge, not even 3G, soo slow, v frustrating. Apologies for any typos, I can't really see what I'm writing! We've had a nice weekend, J is loads better so went to tropical world in Leeds yesterday and then (less excitingly) did a huge food shop today. I'm just cooking Sunday lunch now, or early Sunday dinner really, we're having a roast with yorkshires and stuffing, nom! Had quite a quiet day from Attila yesterday, but she's been a bit more active today, I'll keep an eye on it though.
Enjoy the last of the weekend to anyone who makes it back on today!
