Morning AR, I've done a post too I'll go delete it. Glad to hear you have had a good night's sleep, always nice to be in your own bed. Enjoy your day x

How are we all? SG, enjoy your scan today, look forward to hearing the flavour
Nice fairly chilled afternoon here yesterday, it's such a good feeling finishing work! Got my nails done, Bit of housework then took M to her party. Watched a Christmas DVD with H last night, trying to get in the mood but still not feeling it. Oh also did the kids pnp videos so can't wait to show them to them.
Today we are going to Ms singing group this morning, SS has football Christmas party11-1 then we are ggoing to singing kettle show this afternoon (kids performers that M LOVES).

AR - it's always lovely to sleep in your own bed after a few nights away! Are you still horse riding? If so, I'm impressed!
Weekender - sounds like a busy day! How's M doing? Hope she's behaving a bit better...otherwise Santa might not bring her presents ;)
SG - hope the scan goes well!
AFM - midwife yesterday was good (if rushed). Her poking woke up the baby and she pretty much didn't stop wriggling around for most of the day. Proper kicks and punches...was really lovely. Not much on this weekend - H has just started his Christmas shopping(!) so we have to venture out to collect one of his presents this morning. Think we'll just get a takeaway and a film tonight then he's heading to his parents tomorrow night for Christmas :( and I'll see him again on Friday.

Glad midwife went well, enjoy your weekend with your H. Sorry you'll be apart for Christmas x
Ms behaving better thanks for asking, she just has her naughty days I think. Hoping she will calm once Christmas is over, Shes just hyper.

Yep, we've never had Christmas Eve/Christmas Day/Boxing Day together in 10 years! H's parents used to live about a 6 hour drive away so the distance made it difficult plus for the last few years my parents have gone on holiday on the 27th and I've had to work over Christmas and new year which makes travelling difficult as I need to be near London. If I hadn't been pregnant this year I think we'd have spent it somewhere together as our parents live closer now but we thought we'd have one more year doing our own thing as we both have elderly grandmas (mine is 90 in a couple of weeks) who we rarely see so it's difficult to not be around. I think we're both regretting it a bit now! Although my parents won't let me lift a finger at their house since I've been pregnant so it'll be very relaxing!
Next year H has already invited both sides to our house on Christmas Day...I'm already panicking we don't have enough seats!

AR, nice to be back in your own bed! Hope the rest of your day/weekend is nice and relaxing.
Weekender, your chilled day yesterday sounds lovely. Hope you enjoy all your activities today.
Flossy, yay for wriggling yesterday, I can't wait for proper movements. Enjoy your last day with H, and the relaxation of not doing anything at the parent's house, sounds lovely!
AFm, everything looked good at the scan as far as they could tell - it wasn't hugely detailed as it was just for gender. We're team pink!!! I was so shocked I burst into tears, I was certain I was having a boy! I'm very excited though, we'll have one of each, which'll be lovely. (Not that having 2 boys wouldn't have been fabulous too, a healthy baby is the main thing obviously.) We left my sister babysitting J, and her 1 yr old, so didn't linger in the shop, but I'll have a good look for something cute and girly (without being ludicrously pink) at some point, it'd be nice for Attila to have a couple of new things rather than solely hand-me-downs.

Hello ladies! Hope everyone is having a splendid weekend. I love Xmas being on a Wednesday, I've decided :)
AR, best thing about the end of even the greatest holiday is that coming home part! Rough sorting the horse in the rain. I'm so fairweather, queuing up to poo-pick for mum in the nice weather, don't go near the place in the wet ha ha.
WE, you're not feeling the Christmas magic? Sorry to hear that. Still plenty of time :D
Ah Flossy, seems so odd to me to spend that time apart but if it's your routine I guess it's just second nature and if you're getting treated like royalty so much the better! :)
Oh SG, bless you for crying! I think it's all just emotional, having it so real and thinking about that wee person :)
I had a great time at my works do. The girls who work for me got so drunk but were so very lovely, we had a good dance, food was great, had a couple of teensy glasses of wine and left at 1am. The usual dickheads were dickheads, the rest of them were just lovely, friendly and fun! Today we've worked hard. New rug we had whipped is in and down, we've bought some things we didn't need for ourselves/the house, done the food shop (bar about 6 things) and done some sorting/tidying/cleaning in house. I don't like supermarkets but doing the Xmas thing with hubby is so much fun, came close to wetting myself in Sainsburys. Awkward!
Now I'm watching Strictly, eating chocolate and cuddling my tiny little dog. Every now and then Baxter does a big kick and Lily cops it in the face!! :)

Counter, your day yesterday sounds lovely!
Ours was good, busy but really enjoyable and M loved the show
Today we have virtually nothing planned! SS has a birthday party at 11, I'm going to Tesco for apricot jam to marzipan my Christmas cake and have to buy q couple of vouchers. Plus M wants to make gingerbread men so we will do that. Just finish wrapping presents and tonight will be Homeland. Fairly chilled day, looking forward to it!
Hope everyone is well x
