morning ladies. Ive been very rubbish at getting on here recentlY. How dare my life get in the way!
i have my scan on tuesday and we plan to remain team yellow. I woke up this morning struggling to breathe which is not a good thing for me as I have 'broken' and 'special!' Lungs! I hope it's a one off and not a sign of things to come. only 2 more days at school. Then I start summe camp for 5 weeks.
how are you all?
(I'm sorry for all the errors - my phone is making it go all weird!)

Hope your special lungs aren't playing up. Enjoy summer camp.
Afm, I'm on the Eurostar en route to gay Paris!
Have a lovely weekend all x

Yet again, sorry for not being around much. It's not to easy for me to log in from a computer these days and by the time I get to the thread it's impossible to do personals on my phone!
I hope everyone's had a good week and are now enjoying the slightly less hot weather. We must be the only bunch of people in Britain that don't mind it being a bit cooler....
Custard - I hope it is only a one-off and that you don't have to suffer with breathing problems for the next 22 weeks. Oooh not long til your scan! Exciting!
Mrs P - have a fab time in Paris :-)
AFM - busy busy busy all the time. Had my sister over with my little nieces this morning and have all my friends coming round for a BBQ this afternoon - although now that the sun's gone in that might not be the best plan - we might end up going to the pub instead! Having some sharp pains in the bottom of my bump today but am hoping its just growing pains or round ligament pain. I'll ring the midwife if I get really concerned though. I think I've started feeling the baby kick this week! Just tiny little thumps inside my uterus. What does everyone else feel when their baby moves?
Eeek, an onion!

Hi ladies, custard I hope your ok? Problems breathing doesn't sound good! Exciting your scan is Tue!
Mrs P I hope you have an amazing time! That's a great break.
Penny nice to see you lovey. Hope your work is going ok. Our day has been flip reverse from yours, we had clouds this morning but sun was blazing by 11am and there's not a cloud in the sky!
AFM we had our second private scan today and baby Deedee is fine. Still upside down on their head, hiding their face with feet up in the air! We heard the heartbeat and saw them yawning and opening and closing their mouth and their arms and legs were thrashing about. We saw the babies spine which looks good and we got to see the blood flowing through the cord. The woman that did the scan said my placenta is at the back so I might be lucky to feel movements sooner as the baby has access to all the front walls sort of thing. She also spent time at the end showing me my bicornate uterus and its not as dipped as I thought which is good. She said she doesn't think it should be a big issue which is good. They also measured the head and the leg I think? And both measurements were coming out at 15+4 which is bang on for my dates so that was reassuring. We got a short video clip to take away, a recording of the heartbeat and some pics. My H did ask if they could tell the team yet but the baby wasn't in a good position and the cord was all around its feet so she couldn't see. I didn't expect to find out today as I thought it would be too early anyway but my H is still convinced its a boy!
So high five from babydeedee!

Custard - do you have an underlying condition? Sorry if you've already explained!?
MrsP - I am super jealous. I've been plotting how to see the tour next year when it comes to the UK with a 3yr old & 6month old.... I took LO to Olympic cycling last year and she slept thru the interesting bit!
Penny - nice to see you. Enjoy your BBQ/pub
MDD -Cool scan. I love seeing all that detail, its amazing isn't it.
AFM - went out at 7am this morning to ride my horse, was all tacked up and ready to go when a lady turned whilup and confessed she had a ERPC last week for a MMC. She wanted to talk to me as our little girls are only 3weeks apart and she knew I'd had a m/c in march. We spent 40mins talking (whilst my horse got increasingly fed up!), I think it helped her. Eventually set out on my ride (after pphoning H to say I was running a tad behind schedule!) and did a 9.5mile ride in 2&1/2 hours. Doesn't sound quick I know but I'm quite chuffed with this as due to a 2 different ligament problems my horse is no longer allowed to trot on the road nor hard ground - and the weather recently has guaranteed everything is rock hard!
H has fitted new trailer partition this affy and put bunting up in LO room (although he did fail to go to local market this morning so we dont have any fruit or veggies, Grrr!) Suppose ill have to go Tesco tomorrow then!

Great to see Baby DeeDee!

I do have a underlying lung problem. It's a genetic disorder. It's a good one to google! I do feel like I've been sat on all day so I'll see how I am and mention it on tue at my scan if I'm no better. I'm being. Closely monitored anyway. I have silly amounts of hospital appointments will every specialist going!

Custard- I hope that was a one off too, were you ok this morning?
Mrs P-hope you are having a wonderful time!!
Penny- how is the new job going? I keep getting pains and twinges, im putting it down to stretching and movements!
missdeedee- that sounds like such a detailed scan!!! Im getting excited about mine next week!
HF-it must had been really helpful for her to talk to someone about it, im sure you did help her
Imp- I know you havent been on but Ive been thinking about you lots this weekend! Hope you are keeping busy!
AFM- had a lovely day with my mum yesterday, a nice spot of lunch then a very quaint village fete. I felt like i was on the set of Midsomer Murders! Had fun in london last night too catching up with friends. My friend who's engagement party it is has decided they are getting married in Italy! Im so excited, but they are thinking around the same time as my Best mate who im bridesmaid for! yikes, i really hope they dont clash!!
The train home last night was chocker but i finally managed to find a seat to squeeze into! Going to do a bit of shopping with mum this morning before getting the train home!
I *think* I may have felt the baby yesturday. I got a twinge in my bump that I was expecting to result in a sharp pain so I braced myself (its not that painful, im just a wimp) but it turned into more of a wave sensation. It havenned a few times in the space of about 30 mins. I honestly have no idea what is going on in there!

Hey missdeedee! Awww, what a wonderful scan. It's amazing to see the spine and everything isn't it? And look how clear that hand is - high five babydeedee! That's great news about your uterus not being as dipped as you thought as well.
HF- I'm sure you helped her, must have been hard though.
Custard- doesn't sound like much fun but at least you're getting lots of care.
Mrs Bass - hello! Job is going really well, so glad I moved, despite the whole pregnancy panic! Sounds like you had a fab day yesterday - I hope those two weddings don't clash! And that does sound like you've felt the baby move :-)
I had a great time yesterday, the bbq turned into a party as well in the evening, but my BIL got really drunk and kept trying to stroke my bump, I had to tell him to back off! He looked a bit hurt but I had asked him nicely several times, and he should have known better than to annoy a pregnant lady! LOL.

Afternoon all! Sorry I didn't get on yesterday, with the cooler weather (hurrah!) I felt a million times better and had a very productive day... sadly I think I did way too much and have broken myself. Oops!
I woke up about 7.30 so headed up to the yard, taking advantage of the good weather. I spent ages cuddling the pony, poo-picked 2 wheelbarrow AND emptied them (big thing for me as I'm not 'meant' to push stuff due to the SPD so H has done all the barrow emptying for the last 10 weeks), then took the pony up to the yard to play in the round pen for the first time. Then I turned her back out, poo-picked another barrow (but didn't empty it), then bought my other horse in and got her ready for someone else to ride. Untacked and washed her off when they'd finished, turned her back out, and went home. In the afternoon, H and I went to see Despicable Me 2 (loved it!) and he bought me some lovely jewellery for our first anniversary, then we went out for dinner in the evening to the restaurant where we had our wedding breakfast.
By the time I got home, I needed crutches to get upstairs - I am so stupid for over-doing it, but I had a really lovely day. Having a more leisurely day today (our actual anniversary) - we've painted some more nursery furniture and this afternoon we're going out for afternoon tea with both sets of our parents. My parents have offered to buy us a Dyson as a present because I am the crappest housewife known to man and I can only operate Dysons (they only have themselves to blame as they what they have!) and obviously once I'm on maternity leave and H starts his new job as a primary teacher, I'll be taking on all / most of the housework responsibilities.
No time for all personals but I promise I've read them all Custard, I hope it was just a one off yesterday (the pollen count here is really high today, does that kind of thing aggravate it?) but glad the professionals are keeping a close eye on you. xx

Hellooo everyone! Im also another terrible MDer..never seem to find the time to get on here and to do personals!
Im so glad the weather here has cooled down a bit, i felt like I was going to combust this past week in my boiling hot work!
Ive got my scan tomorrow..eeeks! Excited but nervous too. Were unsure whether to find out or not, so guess we'll decide in the morning for definite!
Currently relaxing on the sofa as ive spent the morning gardening and ripping off the virgina creeper from the side of our newish house, having a rest now!
Have a lovely rest of your sundays!
21/07/2013 at 22:30
Gemini- I totally read that as rippig your vagina off in your newish house! I think it's bed time.
My breathing is no better. I'm sure I'm overdosing on inhalers. Will call doctors in the morning. Pollen doesn't do anything to me normally.
