AR, how exciting, I've always wanted to go to center parcs in December, well for the past couple of years anyway. Def hoping to go next year! And work done too, yippee!! Hope you get packed today x
AFM, works party night last night, I stayed till back of 11 but I'm knackered this morning! H is up with M and I'm still in bed, must get up soon. Not much planned for today, singing group this morning then was thinking park or something but apparently theres a weather warning for rain and gales so that's maybe not a great idea if we can't dossomething outside I think I'll do some baking with M. Relaxed day though hopefully, M was so overexcited yesterday with her nursery Christmas party and just all things Christmassy that a quiet day would do her good! Pregnancy wise nowt to report!
Hi to all that follow x

Hi AR, enjoy being on leave. Super jealous here!!! Will it take long to pack? Good luck :)
AFM, tough day at work, run-in with d***head who not only was difficult and provocative on work stuff but proceeded to question why my husband would take time off to look after our baby. This guy is right at the top of my sh!t list. Lol. It's almost laughable how he behaves, 50 year old man running a 12m business should know better, in my opinion.
Hubby never asks for anything but wanted to go to a local gig in a funky cafe bar, it was Tom Hinkley of Inspiral Carpets (most of you are probably too young to remember!). Harry joined us for an hour or so after his Duke of Edinburgh finished, the singer sat and chatted with us beforehand which was nice. He was good, hubby got tipsy and gooey, lol. I was beat so we left a bit early but we enjoyed what we saw and ate pizza in bed at half ten. Really nice! The sun is shining brightly here this morning.
Happy weekend to all.

Hey weekender, baking sounds great! Let us know what you make :) I've seen the weather warnings, hope it comes to nothing for you.

Counter, I remember the inspiral carpets ha, it wasn't THAT long ago was it?? Hope you sorted out the a$$hole at work.
We are going to bake cupcakes as I bought Christmas cake toppers, she'll love it, loves baking :)

Counter, the Inspiral Carpets played at my Uni so can't be that old! What on earth does it have to do with that guy at work what your husband wants to do. grrr!
AR - enjoy Centre Parcs! How lovely being finished for Christmas already!
Weekender - what are you going to bake? I have to bake for work this weekend and I'm useless! Plus it's going to be a mission getting it there in one piece on the tube...maybe I'll just stop at waitrose on Monday morning!
Quite day here today, then out for dinner tonight. Heading into London for it which I can't really be bothered with but as it's a place where you can't book it means we're getting there early so hopefully getting home early! Planning on a nap before getting ready (and inevitably moaning about nothing to wear!). Family dinner at my parents tomorrow which will be nice.
Woke up feeling really achy this morning, think I slept in an awkward position. But slept really well so feel a bit more alive.
Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend. Hi to all who follow! X

AR, how's the packing going?
Counter, how's the family weekend?
Flossy, hope you enjoyed going into London and your meal was nice
I ended up going for a nap yesterday morning about half eleven and woke at half two!! Then felt so lazy afterwards, I eventually made cupcakes with M, we are going to decorate them just now, well once she finishes breakfast. Dropped H at pub about half four and then once I got M in bed I had a nice quiet evening with strictly and x factor. H fell in the door about ten, made no sense then fell asleep and snored all night Grr. He's still sleeping now, probably best that he's out of my way, I might kill him! So today, M and I are going to finish her cakes, take things to the recycling centre, quick visit to Asda, got things to return, and pick up Ms nativity costume from my friends house. Tonight I'm out with the girls for dinner, I'm sure it'll be more respectable than Hs night last night

Sorry ABC, missed you - hope you are less achy today, not long till Christmas holidays x

Weekender, loving the impromptu napping! And I think keeping out of your way is a most sensible strategy for Mr Weekender :)
Yesterday was awesome. Tidied up the bedroom (my christmas present is a gorgeous dressing table with huge mirror, I love it but needed to do some sorting out). I got presents wrapped including 20 little ones for 'parcel parcel' (our family's take on pass the parcel). We had a huge tasty roast. Faffed with decorations. The boys cycled 16 miles while I watched online quilting tutorials and researched sewing machines (!). We caught up on Homelands we had on the planner and played with the dog loads. Wonderful! :)

Flossy - did you go for your meal? Sorry, I ask everyone this... What did you have?
15/12/2013 at 09:47
I did. We went to a 'trendy Indian' it was lovely actually, I played it safe with a chicken biryani as I'm not a huge meat fan and I've gone off prawns since being pregnant. The boys had a really yummy leg of lamb which tasted amazing...I had slight food envy! And lots of yummy sides to pick at as well.
I had to have a nap before going out, good job I did as we didn't get home till after midnight. Your day yesterday sounds lovely. I need a proper dressing table, but our bedroom is so small we won't be able to fit the cot in at the moment, never mind any extra furniture.
Weekender - glad the nap helped! I find I hate dealing with drunk people at the moment, I have zero patience, especially when it's H who's had one too many!
ABC - hope you feel better and got a good nights sleep. I find it works wonders when I manage to get a good sleep. Otherwise, naps are amazing!
