How are we all?Nothing much to report here. Off to the shops later this morning to try and find a cheap dressing gown for my hospital bag, think that's the only thing left to buy. Due date 4 weeks today so hopefully I'll have my baby this time in 4 weeks since I should be getting induced!! Scary stuff :-)
22/06/2013 at 08:06
Scary to this this time next month you'll have 3 kiddies! Is your growth scan this week?
AFM - H still away with work, should be back this afternoon. Luckily A slept well last night but was up at 6.50, I really could have done with another hour. Not sure what to do today the weather looks a bit rubbish. Alex is talking about going to the park so I'll probably do that and hope we avoid the rain.
Not much to report baby wise, she was v.wriggly last night though.

Morning BG, yeah the weather is rubbish up here too. Abigail insisted on wearing something pretty lol so is wearing a summer dress and it's currently pouring. Got growth scan and consultant next Fri so hoping for an induction plan then :-)
22/06/2013 at 08:39
Ally only 4 weeks, how exciting and scary!
Bg hope the rain holds off for you to get to the park.
I'm off to one of the towns near us to go to peacocks to get a cheap dressing gown+nightie for my hospital bag then I think I will have the basic bits+ will then just need to pack which I can do at a later date. Hs friend was meant to come down, but doesn't look like he is, so hoping we can clean the kitchen and maybe do a little bit of decorating.
22/06/2013 at 09:29
Ally, not long now! Hope the dressing gown hunt is productive.
BG, enjoy your day, hope you avoid the rain.
Bunny, sounds like you have lots planned for the day.
AFM, have woken up with really sore hips so hoping that eases soon. Need to collect a parcel in a bit, then the boys are going to make cards for Grandad's birthday before we go to my parents for lunch. H is off fishing at lunchtime and not back till tomorrow teatime, so looking forward to a chilled out night on my own with a glass of wine and a film plus the bed to myself.

Ally - hope appointment on Friday goes well.
BG - have fun at the park. It's chucking it down here too otherwise madam would be outside. She's bouncing off the walls today. Might go swimming tomorrow if it's the same tomorrow.
Margot - hope your pain eases. I can sympathise with that.
Afm - not alot happening here. Lots of lovely big movements and D keeps kissing my stomach. she can't wait for baby to be here. Finally wrote a list of bits I need for hospital bag and suddenly realised how unorganised I am. H got some boxes of clothes down for me. We have so much stuff to sort. Only 2 weeks to mat leave. Can't wait.

BG weather is bad here too :( take a brolly to the park :D
Bunny hope you can get your decrating done :)
Margot enjoy your evening :)
AFM Im in agony, my hips are killing me, Ive got a bad headache and Ive got a nasty UTI too which Im on antibiotics for. Baby is very active, Ive finally gotten my maternity uniforms for work. I can't wait to finish work for my mat leave, Im so tired all the time. Leg cramps are getting worse, at least three times a night, add that to the constant pee'ing Im averaging about 4 hours sleep a night :( Still positive thoough, it will be worth it when she is here :D Hi to all who follow xx
22/06/2013 at 11:30
Sorry missed you there Daisy hope sorting goes well x

Today is my first day with no plans since starting mat leave, and I'm feeling exhausted. Didn't get dressed until 11.30am. Thankfully G is doing a pretty good job of entertaining himself. I can barely move off the sofa!
Had hypnobirthing workshop yesterday which was good. H bought into it all way more than I expected. Now I need to make time to listen to one of the mp3s every day.
Hoping H will make a bit of time to help out this weekend, just need to clear space in the bedroom for the cot, build the cot and dig a few last bits out of the loft (including car seat).
Have a good weekend all :)

Margot - hope your hips are too bad. Enjoy your relaxing night! I love a bit of quiet time with just me and the TV.
Daisy - not long until maternity leave! Could you use that time to sort stuff out?
Luna - try and rest as much as you can inbetween work. What is it you do? Hope the aching eases up and the antibiotics start working quicky. UTIs are not nice!
Dinx - glad you enjoyed the hypnobirthing class. We were going to do it,, but just couldn't justify the cost of it as it's a very new thing in our area there was no time to save up for it! I think you need to enjoy a few more days of not getting dressed until almost lunch!
Got the nightie and dressing gown in peacocks, which means I think I have most bits for the hospital bag now, just need to pack it. Also got some nappies in Tesco at the baby event, just one pack as we want to try out different brands to see which ones are good for us. I also treated myself to a new epilator in boots as they have them half price at the mo, and one of our rabbits bit through the charger of my current one! Had a £5 off voucher too, so wasn't too expensive. Off out to friends for dinner tonight which should be nice. Not seen them for a long time so will be interesting if there are many bump comments!
Hope everyone elses days are going well.

Ooh think that's my hospital bag sorted! Dressing gown and slippers purchased today :-) ordering cot mattress tonight and that's us done - just need baby now lol
22/06/2013 at 19:31
thanks bunny, Im a nurse lol always on my feet x
23/06/2013 at 09:36
That's brilliant ally. Now in theory you can relax until baby arrives!
Luna- hard to rest at work then! My h is a mental health nurse and I know that breaks are few and far between, if any on ward's.
Going to try and write the last of my reports today. Got 10 to go! Hoping to do them so when I have my report day off on Tuesday i can catch up on other school work that's been neglected.
23/06/2013 at 09:46
Bunny - good luck with your reports, give yourself a big treat when you are done!
We're off for a walk by the river in a bit, the boys need to get out and let off some steam, then I'm hoping we can have a lazy afternoon with playing and some telly and I can get my sewing machine out and do a few bits. Last of my cloth nappy stash went through the wash yesterday and is drying on the airer, they look so cute!
23/06/2013 at 10:01
Today I shall mostly be pottering around the house, doing a few bits of housework and chilling out before my last week at work! Sat here watching my tummy wriggle, I never tire of it! Good, as Bean was slow to wake up this morning and I was starting to worry. I hope he or she is as sleepy when here as they are inside!!
23/06/2013 at 10:42
Sorry I can't do personals as on my phone but just wanted to pop in and say hi and hope you're all having a good weekend. We had our antenatal class yesterday which was rubbish but went to get the push chair after. I'm hoping H will put it up for me to have a play with today. Having a day of doing all the boring stuff today (cleaning, shopping, sorting the house out, cooking) then hopefully a bit of time to chill out tonight. Last week at work this week and my cover starts tomorrow so it's going to be a very busy week. Still don't feel ready to finish work really but I'll have 2 weeks before due date and work 50 miles away so I'd rather not risk working any longer and be closer to home.
Hope you all have a good Sunday!
23/06/2013 at 10:47
Morning all. Hope you're all having a nice weekend. My H is working today (he does 12 hour shifts) so we're stuck at home all day. Have managed to get tidied up this morning, 2nd load of washing on and the ironing's done. Will probably make some cookies or something in a bit so we have something to do. Hoping to stick the kids out in the garden later but it's looking like it might rain :-(
23/06/2013 at 15:12
Bunny deinitely a very few and far between breaks kind of job, Im a general nurse but I considered swapping to mental health during my training, its heavy going everywhere. Hope your report writing goes well.

Luna - I have a selection, Little Lambs and wraps for nighttime, then Tots Bots, Bumgenius, Ones and Twos, Pop Ins, Bambooty, Mio Solos and cheapies. I want to try out lots of different types to see what works best for us before committing to any one type. V jealous of your lie in - smallest was awake at 6.30am!
23/06/2013 at 16:33
