I hope nobody minds me starting the thread this weekend. I'm sorry I've hardly been around on the threads as its a struggle during the week and usually too late by the time I get on.
I do normally read them every day though. We've been pretty quiet in 3rd Tri this week haven't we???
Anyways, I hope everyone is ok and has nice plans for the weekend???
AFM - I'm hoping to chill out a bit this weekend and get some more stuff listed on ebay and Gumtree. I'm also hoping to start packing my hospital bag. I like to be organised!!! I got Baby CA's bag packed last weekend so if I can do mine this weekend then at least its something else done.
Happy Saturday xxx

Morning, CA! The thread has been super quiet, but I think it will naturally pick up and slow down at times. Packing the hospital bag.... We're still working on that one. Baby's bag got packed when I was about at your stage, though. I reckon it's because the stuff for baby is all cute and little and exciting, whereas stuff for labour is more a reminder of what we're in for. Or maybe that's just me! Are you working from a list? We got a list in NCT, but I'm not sure if we will bother we all of it since so many people say they barely touched the stuff in their bag!
AFM, I'm off to work today at the museum. My second last day! My last day is the next bank holiday Monday and I'm not doing any more volunteering, so it does feel like I'm on mat leave. Holly Jolly has been squirming as if she has no room in there. Still not kicking, but we have been seeing some bizarre alien-like movements. I hope everyone else has a good weekend in store. I'll pop back on a round lunch time for personals!

CA the thread has been quiet, but so has md generally. It seems to be dying a bit tbh.
Yay for getting baby's hospital bag packed. That's pretty exciting!! I can't pack my bag yet as I'm still missing a fair bit of stuff for it.
Wispa enjoy your penultimate day at work!
I'm off to collect the crib mattress from mothercare today. On Monday our cotbed and car seat is getting delivered, do once they're here I think we've pretty much got all the big stuff. Just bedding/sheets/finishing touches to buy. Eeek!
No real plans this weekend, just taking it easy. I saw the physio yesterday and I've got pgp which means I've to take it easy, she has put me on a housework ban too! Result!

CA - so organised! I've only just started thinking about hospital bags and don't have everything for them yet! In fact, lots of you seem to be more organised than me :s
Wispa - enjoy your last couple of days at work
Imp - yay to a housework ban! But boo to pgp :(
AFM - having been in list-making mode last week I've not done anything on them since. This thread has inspired me to start getting organised again!

CA, good luck with your bag, you're super organised! It's very exciting though, eeek :)
Wispa, hope work is good today, enjoy your second-last day!
Imp, woohoo for housework ban but I'm sorry about your pgp. Hope the physio helps. Very exciting that you now have wall of the big things!!
Ixia, well done with your lists, good luck with organising everything!
AFM, full speed ahead with the house, solicitors are busy doing their thing and we're surrounded by boxes and cr@p. Starting to believe that this might actually happen and that we might be in our own house by the time baby arrives (albeit cutting it incredibly fine!!) We're trying not to buy too much of the big stuff until we move, although I did have a panic about the baby coming early the other day and her having nowhere to sleep but in a cat basket, so now we're the proud owners of a crib and mattress, just in case!

Hi. Happy Sunday!!!
Wispa - hope you enjoyed your second last day volunteering. Tomorrow is your last day. Eeeek!!! Hope it goes ok. I've got a list I'm working from for my hospital bag so hopefully I'm. to going to forget anything.
Imp - sorry your even diagnosed with pgp. You'll need to take it easy and look after yourself for the last bit of your pregnancy. Hopefully you don't suffer too much. Yay to picking up some of the big baby bits and pieces. It's v exciting!!!
Ixia - hi lovely. Making lists is the first step to getting organised. Once you know what you need it's easy to work your way through it. It's amazing how much you can cross off in a short space of time. Have fun.
Fig - I'm so glad everything is moving on nicely with the house purchase. Loving that you've got the crib and mattress now and not waiting until after you move.
AFM - I've had a nice chilled day in the house. The weather has been really mixed, sun shining one minute and then pouring with rain the next. Nothing for it but to put your feet up!!!! I've got a lot of eBay listings ending tonight so my day off tomorrow will be parcelling them and going to the post office I hope. I didn't get my bag packed. I lost the will with it a little so I might have a look again tomorrow.
baby CA has been non-stop all of yesterday and today. Not sure what's going on - maybe I've inspired them to keep fit?!? lol
