Hi ladies how are we all doing?
We went to a Halloween party last night, tonight we're off to the fireworks & tomorrow we're going out for Sunday lunch & then to another Halloween party tomorrow eve. Hoping to keep myself busy & not think about the fact that baby is quite late!!
Happy Weekend all x

Hello BK, sounds like you've got plenty on to try and keep your mind busy.
I'm a bit gutted that I'm missing out on my friends hen - trying to decide if I'm brave enough to wear the bright green leggings I got as part of my pumpkin outfit for last night or whether I just get rid of them. Though my foot is aching today just from me trying to hang the washing out myself so I clearly did the right thing by not going along. Babywise not a lot to report. Now M is all settled in her toddler bed, H has raised the cot back up for baby height - it looks so strange seeing it that way again.
Hi to all who follow. x

BK-sounds like a fun weekend.
S- i always hate missing things but sounds like you are doing the right thing.
AFM-I am having such a nice weekend. Was on annual leave yest so met a friend with a 10 week old baby who seemed to be doing really well and then went to some friends' for Halloween treats. Today we had a long NCT session which was v informative and then met a friend due the same time as me. Tom I'm out with a big group of couples for breakfast and then my friends have arranged me a big meet up (which I think might be a baby shower despite me saying not to). Cant believe how much my weekend activities have changed over the last few months from going to cocktail bars and weekends away but I'm really enjoying it!

Afternoon all sorry I've not been on for a couple of days, those back pains on Thursday morning turned out to be contractions and our lovely little man arrived on Friday lunchtime on his due date :) was discharged from hosp late last night so having our first day at home today. So in love already.

Rio - life does change but it still sounds a great weekend. Sooo, did it turn out to be a baby shower?
MrsL - so, so happy for you. I have a sneaky feeling that may have been the case. Congratulations to you and your little family. Enjoy every moment. Extra yay for a due date baby - you'll get to feel extra special for that being in the 4-5%

Sapphire: Hope that you've had a good weekend despite missing the hen do
Rio: Life is certainly different! How was the baby shower?
MrsL: So happy that your little man has arrived. Hope all is going well. Don't forget to start up a 4th Tri thread & I'll join you if & when this baby arrives!!
DS: Sadly not!!
AFM: So I'm still here, no changes, nothing going on. Think he's intending to stay in for some time!! I've got a mw appointment on Tues (hopefully) by which time I'll be 41+5 by the NHS dates but 'only' 41+1 by mine. After that I will start expectant monitoring which I know involves scan of placenta & looking at fluid around the baby (I know, from my growth scan, that I had a lot of fluid which is a good sign) & heart rate monitoring for longer period of time as well as usual urine & bp checks. Yet ton find out how often these are going to take place (online it looks it varies from daily to twice a week depending on area). Hopefully he'll arrive naturally before all that kicks off on Friday.
Any baby out vibes would be be fab, because even though I feel completely fine I'm getting a little frustrated now & know that I'll start getting pressure to induce which is the last thing I want.
