Morning ladies, hope everyone is well. I had a lovely afternoon & evening y.day. There were 2 babies at my coffee date, a 1 week old and a 4 week old! They were so cute but so tiny. Im scared again that im going to have responsibility for one of them soon! scary!!

Myevening was very entertaining as everyone got soooo drunk, Not jealous of their hang overs this morn!

Im heading off to my mum's in a bit then going to a Hitched meet up this afternoon!

    Have a lovely weekend everyone!

    Morning!

Mrs Bass- sounds like a lovely day you had yesterday and another one planned for today, enjoy! Oh and happy full term to you today, eeeks!

I shouldnt have said I had the best nights sleep thursday night as last night was horrendous!! Me, my mum and sister went shopping in town. I felt fine up until about an hour beire we came home and my pelvis, groin area was a little achy. Then last night omg, could I sleep?! It was that painful, I tried to wedge a pillow between my thighs, was pacing up and down the landing, bouncing on my ball and all in all had about an hours sleep. In the end I had to take some paracetamol, the first time Ive taken any sort of pain killers during my pregnancy. I must have overdone the walking. Its still aching this morning but as soon as hubby got up about seven, I was able to get a couple of hours sleep. Sorry for the moany post...grrr im turning into an old woman, ha!

Today friends are popping in for a cuppa, around 10.30 and then it was planned we were going to go to Ikea, might go this afternoon or tomorrow but either way I'm taking it easy :-)

    Morning ladies

Mrs bass - you mean at the end of all this we have to be responsible for a baby! No way!!! Have fun at the meet!

Gemini - hope you get to have a little nap at some point during the day.

Afm- baby has been very active and painful yesterday and my bump kept going really hard and making me feel all funny. We went to the pub for a quick meal as H didn't fancy what I planned for tea. He only had 1 pint as he was slightly alarmed about what my bump was doing! I was up a lot during

    PM

Happy weekend everyone. You ladies are all so close now! Scary but exciting.

Mrs B - I am enjoying watching other people make fools of themselves drunk :) enjoy your day.

Gemini - good idea about resting up this weekend.

Custard - enjoy shopping and seeing the in laws. Hope the movements are a positive sign.

Afm - planning a really quiet weekend maybe with some Christmas shopping i can be bothered. Had an awful nights sleep and really only nodded off at 8am. Had my whopping cough jab yesterday and it absolutely kills so I couldn't sleep on that arm. Work has been ridiculous this week and yesterday we had a mini family drama which I think has given me a headache and jaw ache from grinding my teeth. Anyway moan over. Going to start looking at cots this week so I'm looking forward to that.

    Morning!

Mrs Bass- safe trip home later, hope the traffic isn't too bad!

I slept well last night, thank goodness! The trip to ikea went well, we bought the storage units and boxes then got the changing mat and gro bags from Mamas and Papas as they had 30-50% off so they were cheaper than most other places in the end.

Today its a day of jobs, putting up the vinyl stickers and sorting out bits and bobs around the house. Hubby has already made himself a list and had been to the tip by 9.15, all whilst I was asleep, bless him. Hes a good 'un! Just need the blind to arrive tuesday and decide on some curtains. I like the brightly coloured tab topped ones from mamas and papas but we only have a short window. Could end up buying new from ebay and getting the MIL to chop some off and hem them again. Might do a flash tomorrow if the stickers are my friend and go up easily, doubt it though!

    PM

I've had proper drama re my ongoing UTI issues this week. Saw Midwife Wednesday but was at home in afternoon, she advised taking fresh urine sample to surgery in morning as they get sent for testing at 1pm. So I did and requested a doctor appointment for when results were back. Well the receptionist was trying to book an appointment for a weeks time,  pointed out I was 35Weeks and needed antibiotics asap...  And the next thing I know I was being ushered into Doctors office!!!  (Wasnt quite what I wanted - I meant 24hrs later when they'd tested wee. But whatever. Was prescribed antibiotics and anti-sickness tablets (for labour). Well all good, starting taking antibiotics.....  24hrs later (and not feeling any better) the GP rings - results are back. The bacteria is resistant to the antibiotics I've been prescribed. Aarrghh! So new prescription issued for different antibiotic - the penicillin one I had in October that made me queasy, terrific!

Anyway, so far, not feeling sick yet but only on day 3 of 7 ....

It was just positioning them and making sure they were all straight and level that was the hard part, without them sticking to my hands!

I love them though, makes the wall really vibrant!
