Morning AR! What a shame you can't sleep :( I've had some bizarre dreams as well - pregnancy does funny things to you!! Sorry to hear you are so sore as well. Hope today isn't too tiring. Have you chosen colour schemes for your painting? It'll be fab to get all that done!
My bump woke me up about 20mins ago with enormous wriggles, then developed the hiccups and is now settling back to sleep leaving me wide awake! H left for Italy (snowboarding for a week) last night and obvs I cried hysterically like I was never seeing him again! Ha ha! Off to meet some hitchy girls today so that will cheer me up! Happy burns day to the scots - anyone having haggis tonight? I forgot so it'll probably be sold out by the time I make the supermarket.

Hi ladies! Happy Saturday to you :)
AR, I'm all in the decorating zone at the mo so very exciting to be choosing those, we seem to have spent many an hour with the paint charts storming the aisles at Homebase/B&Q. Hubby's face every time he presents me with the wrong shade of 'white-but-not-white' is hilarious! Hope the pain is manageable.
Sweetpea - bless you for being teary. I know you'll miss him but do you have any plans to 'make the most of' having the place to yourself? Have a lovely day today, hope the weather is good :)
AFM, just tired. Totally knack'd as hubby calls it. We've got our antenatal course today then hubby is doing more painting, they managed, this week, between work and school, to do Harry's front room, bedroom and bathroom including floors and it looks 1,000% times better, I can see how pleased Harry is with it. I'm very angry with the house right now, which is making me emotional, every room/space has things in it from other areas so it's untidy and can't be sorted, I hate it and I'm not even a tidy person!
I'm quite uncomfortable because baby is so low, lots of period/labour type aches all down legs and round back. 12 weeks seems an eternity ha ha!

AR I know that headache of "just the right shade"!!! Hope you are successful! Re the snowboarding I've only been once and wasn't very good :-S its a very expensive holiday so I'm happy for H to enjoy it on his own for now!
Counter you really are in the throws of it too! I HATE the mess that comes with decorating! I get that rage too!! When do you hope to do it all by? The aches and pains are hard! Any chance baby might move yet? Apparently they do up until about 36 weeks. Hope you get some respite as 12 weeks is a long time to be in pain/discomfort. Enjoy your class! I've got a fairly busy week so hopefully it'll fly in!

AR good luck with the painting, its a pain of a job but good when its finished.
SP hope you are ok this morning? Im glad you have a nice day planned. i know what you mean about skiing ive been once and wasnt very good either!
Counter - i was exactly the same when our extension was being built. i dont think pregnant ladies can cope with mess and untidyness!!
AFM - slept well but was awake way too early! Off to get my hair highlighted this morning and then hopefully will have a relaxed afternoon. Baby wise all good. feeling lots of hiccups and kicks at the moment.

AR - good luck with the painting.
SP - try to enjoy the piece and quiet :) hope you manage to get a haggis!
Counter - Sorry about the pain and hope you antenatal class is useful.
Mrs V - Ooh your day sounds lovely, enjoy pampering yourself :)
I have a pretty quiet weekend planned which is nice. I just can't sleep anymore though. Me and H are starting to take it in turns having the bed to ourselves. He falls asleep on the sofa for most of the night but as soon as he comes to bed im awake and need to get up! I secretly do quite like having the space at the moment!!

You'revall up early on a weekend morning!
AR, we had the paint tester headache the other week, in the end the decorator said he could start in two days so I just had to choose and go for it - luckily I like what we (I) chose. It's so hard making sure everything coordinates.
SP, happy burns day to you too - H is going for a veggie haggis shortly, and neeps and tatties obviously.
Counter,enjoy antenatal class
MrsV, enjoy hairdressers - I love going and having that me time :)
LD, with baby number 1 I actually banished H to the spare room for last few weeks, I couldn't sleep with him in the bed and it gave me the rage haha. Enjoy quiet weekend
Slept well here last night, H and I decided to cuddle in bed and watch Top Gun on E4. It started at 9, I think I was asleep by quarter past! Def needed it. Started on my massive tp do list yesterday, by doing the shopping things on it. An hour in, M had a pair of wellies and a t-shirt, neither thing was on the list, and we hadn't anything else! It got better though, although just realized I forgot thenew pram mattress when we were in mamas and papas. Oh well! Oh aand got a big sister t-shirt for M in mothercare, reduced to £3! Which was great since she isn't a t-shirt wearing kind of girl and I'm not convinced I'll get her to wear it but I want a twee picture of her and baby in big sister/little brother t-shirts today we are doing stuff round the house and will take M out on her bike for a while. Then bit of telly tonight, might attempt to watch a film again.
Hope everyone else is well, baby out vibes to CK x

Oh ABC, is there anything you can do, decorating wise that would make you feel better? Lick of paint or something? The weather is miserable, I hate it, M is climbing the walls. Can't wait for summer when she can play in the garden

AR- Sorry you're struggling to sleep
SP- Pregnancy emotions are the worst. I was literally sobbing at Corrie when Hayley died, and then at the next episode when they told everyone
Counter- Enjoy your course
MV- Sounds like a plan getting your hair done before the babies born
LD- Sorry you're struggling to sleep
WE- Glad you managed to get a t shirt I saw your post earlier in the week
ABC- Don't worry about whinging I think we all get like that. I feel at the minute I'm in limbo just waiting for the pregnancy to be over
AFM- I slept quite well last night, I think I was exhausted after spewing so much through the day. I got the trvale cot out that I bought last week and tried putting it together whilst the OH slept on the sofa. I'm actually quite impressed it's quite big, has a higher tier for when 'noods' is really small and a changing basin and toy rail all for under £50 in the argos sale. I just don't want to take it down now which is silly really so it's in the hall at the minute lol. This afternoon we've been summoned to my Mum and Dads for tea and to play a Monopoly contest with my 9 year old nephew.

Sweetpea - wanted it all done by 38 weeks but one room needs double glazing and they can't do it until the week I'm due, which is a shame, but we can do everything but! Hope your day was lovely with Hitchers x
Mrs V - how's the hair?
LD - hope you're relaxing. Shifts in the bed is funny, but whatever gets you max rest I'm all for :)
Weekender - the t-shirts sound cute, hope you post a pic when you get to that stage!
ABC - hope you feel better soon. Do you have any little treats coming up, just for you, that you can look forward to?
BLL - I *love* Monopoly! Hope you didn't let the young person win?!?
Isis - what's the plan for date night? Have you much planned while hubby is away next week?
Our today has been good. Enjoyed the course but always the odd one out lol, only second-timer, oldest mum, only one planning home birth, only one not staying home when dad goes back to work. Ah well. I worked on audit prep while hubby did glossing, then we watched Columbo in bed and are still there! About to eat dinner in bed with a DVD on, how bad is that?!? I'm tired with swollen neck glands so hoping for a long deep overnight sleep lol

I'm knackered tonight! Today I cleared out the bathroom cupboards, sorted through loads of old bedding and things, tidied Ms bedroom for the millionth time this week, cleared out wardrobes, supervised H doing a few jobs , did some cleaning plus usual entertaining M. Feet up time!!
25/01/2014 at 20:12

Morning ladies :)
Hope everyone is well today, baby out vibes to CK
Tired here today after yesterday's busy day. Got a few things to do this morning but H and M are going to the cinema so I'm debating whether to lie in bed and watch telly or get up and get stuff done while there's peace....telly in bed is winning at the moment!
Hope you are all having good weekends xx
