I'm starting it but not sure if there's many of us left!
How was everyone's weekend?
I went to my sister's yesterday and she's given us two car seats, iso fix base, vibrating bouncy chair, baby bath, high chair and bits like bottle bags, sheets etc. Feeling very grateful to her!
Nothing really to report baby wise, currently 22+4 and feeling lots of movements.

Hey Holey - I'm still around.
I had a nice weekend although it was very busy. Lots of running around here, there and everywhere - could've done with a lie in this morning! We had our first proper look at prams on Saturday but still not really any closer to making a decision.
Excellent result on all the baby stuff from your sister! Our timing means we seem to have missed out on a lot of hand-me-downs, unfortunately. Other people seem to have snapped them up just before us! Nice that you're feeling lots of movement. Are you starting to notice any patterns yet?
AFM - 23 weeks today and not much to report either. I have another scan this week. At the 20 week one, they could only get 2 of the 3 spine measurements they needed as baby was being a bit awkward so I'm going back on Thursday. For once I'm not stressing about it and just looking forward to seeing her again :)

Holey - It's great you have all that stuff it really does help. We've been given a bit too and we must have saved hundreds!
Aria - Good luck with the scan, and that is a lovely way to look at it, that you get to see your bubs again.
AFM - I've had a lovely weekend, surprise baby shower at the weekend, which really was a huge surprise, me and the baby were extremely spoilt, it was fab! I am now in single figures to maternity leave, which feels weird! Pregnancy is still going relatively ok, I was always told that movement reduces in the last few weeks but for me it's definitely increased and much much stronger, I actually worry he's losing weight in there with all the exercise he's doing! I have one more scan next week and will be told if I'll be induced, I'll finally have a plan in place at 37 weeks, talk about cutting it fine!

Still here too!
Holey - what a fabulous stash from your sis, that's amazing!
Aria - what a little tinker! Hope baby is in a showy mood on Thursday and the scan goes well.
CL - yay to the mat leave count down! Ah, how nice for the surprise shower too!
Afm not much to report, feeling good at the moment. We're off to centre Parcs on Friday so loads of swimming with E and looking forward to some family time!

Aria - were there any prams you liked the look of? Hope the scan goes well on Thursday, as you say it'll be nice to see her again! Yes I am noticing patterns to an extent. He/she always seems to go crazy after dinner in the evening.
Claire - how lovely of them to organise your baby shower. Am very jealous you're in single figures now! Eek, can't believe they are leaving you hanging to 37 weeks to decide!
Mrs P - which centre parcs are you off to? I've never been. How's your house hunting going?
Well I've given my dates to work! Am finishing on 28th August (at 38+1) and going back on 31st May. I'm sure I'll be having nightmares nearer the time about going into labour at work. Good thing is that we are only 2 minutes from the hospital! Haha! I've also managed to arrange 4 day weeks for the 8 weeks before I finish.

CL - your baby shower sounds lovely, what a nice surprise. Can't imagine how it feels to be into single figures - it seems like ages away for me.
MrsP - I'm very jealous of your Centre Parcs trip. I've never been either and have always wanted to. Which one are you going to?
Holey - Super exciting that you've given your dates to work! Feels awesome, doesn't it? And hurray for the 4 day weeks at the end. With the prams, I still liked the Silver Cross Surf 2. We also liked one of the Stokke ones (can't remember which) but not sure I can justify the extra cost.
Not much from me today apart from being a bit of an emotional mess. I had a little meltdown this morning about everything we plan on doing around the house before the baby comes and not having enough time/money to get it done. Typing this now, I can see it was ridiculous but I've not really recovered and the smallest thing has been setting me off again all day! Ha ha, think I just need a sleep to reprogram things!

We're going to Sherwood Forest, can't wait!
House hunting is going ok, waiting for a quote from a builder which will tell us if we can afford to do the work we would need to do on a house. Should hopefully hear tomorrow!
Holey - yay for having an end date at work, and 4 day weeks will be brilliant!
Aria - awww meltdowns are an unfortunate side effect, I cried over wall paper when pregnant with E, and not even my own hope you have a good nights sleep tonight x
13/05/2015 at 15:17
Aria - yes it does feel great to finally have it confirmed. Only 15 weeks on Friday until I finish! A friend of mine has the silver cross and really rates it. I know what you mean about being emotional and feeling overwhelmed with what still needs to happen. Hope you're feeling better today and looking forward to seeing your little girl again tomorrow.
Mrs P - sherwood forest is about an hour from me. Hope you have a lovely time. Good news on the house front then, hope the builder brings good news.
Had a really strange feeling yesterday that this baby is a girl. No idea why but it was a bit strange!
Good news is though that we've decided on names. A girl's and a boy's and middle names. I
Anyone else decided yet?

Hi everyone, sorry for being a sporadic poster, I do read more than I post though!
holey - great about getting that stash!
aria - embarrassing meltdowns are not a fun side effect of being pregnant! Think creating a human being means we should get away with it though!
Cl - that's so nice about the baby shower!
Mrsp - centre parcs is great, enjoy!
afm, nothing major to report, feeling fluttery movements and everything is stretching and creaking! 20 week scan in 2 weeks so I'm looking forward to that.

I didn't manage to get on yesterday as work was crazy busy and then went out for tea and to watch the football in the evening.
Mrs P - Are you all ready for your Centre Parcs trip tomorrow. Still very jealous. Did you hear back from the builder yesterday?
Holey - Well done on choosing names. Was it quite easy for you or was there a lot of debating? Are you telling anyone your choices? We've chosen a name too but we're keeping it under wraps!
Hi Welshthistle - Hope the next two weeks go quickly for you.
AFM - Been for my follow-up scan this morning. Everything looks good and they got the final spine measurement they needed. Got the sweetest scan picture of baby sucking her thumb - so cute! :) I'm working from home for the rest of the day. Also, pleased to report that the emotions seem to have settled for now. I haven't cried in over 24 hours! Go me! Ha ha.
14/05/2015 at 15:09
WT - not long until your scan then! Are you going to find out what you're having?
Aria - good news on the scan front then. Names we are keeping under wraps. Boys name was easy with no debate. Girls name is one I loved and my H wasn't keen on but has now said he loves it. Middle names are my dad's name or my sister and H's nan's name so really easy. I'm secretly hoping it's a girl as our girl's name is lovely and not very common!
14/05/2015 at 20:35
WT - hope the next 2 weeks fly by!
Aria - no, not at all ready! We'll pack in the morning as we're setting off after lunch so E can nap in the car. We're only 2 hours away. Heard from the builder, it will stretch us but it's doable. We'll sleep on it tonight and might put an offer in tomorrow.
Fab news on your scan and what a great picture to have. Hope the emotions stay settled for you x
Holey - woo hoo for having the names already! E was 4 days old before we decided
15/05/2015 at 13:26
Holey, that's like us but the other way round. H kept mentioning our name even before we were properly TTC but I was never keen. It's really grown on me though and now I love it! Ours isn't that common either.
Have a great weekend away, MrsP!
Anyone else got any nice plans for the weekend? I'm looking forward to a nice quiet one as the last few have been a bit busy.
15/05/2015 at 20:51
Be funny if it's the same name aria! We are off to the nec tomorrow for the baby show then visiting some friends who live nearby.
Hope you all have a nice weekend x
