Hi all. Hope you have had a lovely weekend.
We picked up Hs new car this weekend, he originally wanted a Mercedes but after test driving them he wasn't Impressed. So we have got a Nissan Qashqai instead and I have to say it is great. Much better and more suitable to us than a Mercedes.
This week I'm hoping to take Dexter swimming with my mum one day. Then Wednesday night I'm meeting up with some other local ladies expecting twins. Which should be good. Thursday I'm hacing lunch with a friend and her little girl and Friday I'm having lunch with SIL. Can't believe it's nearly April. End of Aprip is when I'm having the twins!
What has everyone else got planned for their week/weekend ahead?
Hi to all who follow!

HI MS! Exciting that you've got your new car sorted! :-) Wednesday sounds like it'll be really good too! Hope you enjoy! Won't be long until D-Day is here!
AFM - We had our appointment with the hospital to discuss delivery options and we've decided to go with a planned section, but if i go into labour naturally before the date, they've to let me try it myself, but I'm completely prepared for any natural attempts to go to a section regardless. We have an end date in sight and it appears to have jarred H into doing a load of household work. He's been threatening to paint the stair walls since January....He did this yesterday.
It's the Easter break this weekend coming, and i've got my bestest friend coming home from London for the weekend, so i'll get to meet his boyfriend finally! I've also got a friend coming down from Aberdeen to visit this weekend too, so it's going to be a busy one! :-)
Only 4 weeks left (or 16 working days) - cannot come round fast enough!

MS - we got a Qashqai recently too, I love it! Sounds like you've got a busy week coming, make sure you find time to rest too *wags finger* :)
RKB - you sound really prepared with your birth options, that's great. Another one who sounds busy too, enjoy your weekend catching up with friends!
AFM - am seeing an awful lot of my MIL atm! She's being a star helping me with S, we went out for coffee with one of her friends this morning, she's coming shopping with me tomorrow and then taking S to a class on Wed so I can go to the mw. I'm pretty much done with being pregnant now - what with the SPD and general aches and pains and tiredness I'm fed up with it interfering with how much I can do with S. Sorry, rant over!
Easter plans include dinner with H's family on Friday and seeing my sister on Monday but not much else. Lots of putting my feet up and drinking raspberry leaf tea I think!

You sound like i feel Popcorn! I know i'm still 2 weeks from term, but i am SO over being pregnant now. This little madam has been really active and keeps changing from transverse to head down and back again. Midwife at my appointment last week said she wasn't concerned as baby moved while she was checking me over, so she still appears to have plenty of room to wriggle...although putting her feet in my rib cage isn't much fun i have to say.
Your Easter Plans sound fab though! I'm not making any attempt to entice baby out this time as it failed so miserably the last time.

MS - qashqai sounds good. A guy I work with has one and it's lovely. Sounds like you've got a nice week planned (if a bit busy!). Do you know anyone with twins? I imagine it's nice to know how they work things.
RKB - sounds like you've got a clear plan. Glad you're all sorted. Hope the decorating is finished soon! I hope you have a lovely weekend. Do you get to see your friend often?
Popcorn - it's great you get on so well with your MIL. Sounds like she's a big help. Sounds like a weekend chilling out is just the thing you need.
Afm - honestly can't believe how much better I'm feeling, it's a massive relief! Plans for this week is just work, it's our busiest week of the month so it will be long days. We are picking up an eBay bargain chest of drawers one night too that's hopefully going to be nursery furniture.
Got Friday and Monday off though. I don't think we're up to much. Got a friend visiting who had her baby on Christmas Day.
Good news is that we've finally booked our holiday! We are having a week in Looe in Cornwall in June. I'll be about 26 weeks pregnant so be lots of relaxing.

MS, good news on the car front, love qashqai's! Sounds like you have a lovely week planned, hope it includes lots of rest too!
RKB, sounds like a good plan. Hope you have a great Easter weekend.
Popcorn, that's great that you have a great MIL! Hope the raspberry leaf tea does the trick, but only after a good relax!
Holey, very jealous of your hol, I'd love to go to Cornwall, maybe next year.
Afm - no baby related news to report. We're finishing the last few jobs around the house then getting agents out to get it on the market Asap. We've put an offer on one we like which was rejected but we can afford to play hardball, so we're not upping it, wish us luck!

Holey - Glad to hear you're feeling better, and Yay to holidays! Enjoy! :-) I don't see either of the friends that often due to logistics of where they live and H and I working/ having children. Haven't seen my friend from Aberdeen for about a year, but at least i saw my bestest bud at Christmas!
MrsP - Hope you get the last bits done on your house and you get it on the Market!
14.5 working days left! Woop (15.5 if you include today)! Cannot wait! Slept quite well last night for the first time in a while. Was cuddled into H and baby kicked lumps out of him.

MS - the new car sounds fab! Your week sounds very busy, definitely make sure you fit in some resting too. I can't believe how soon it is til the twins arrive!
RKB - Maybe having an end date was the kick up the bum your H needed! Hope you have a lovely weekend with your friends, it's always nice seeing people when you haven't for a while.
Popcorn - your MIL sounds really helpful, hope she and S are enjoying their time together and fingers crossed baby doesn't keep you waiting too long. The end is in sight!
Holey - Ooh I love Cornwall! I think the last time I went to Looe I was only quite small though so I don't remember very much about it.
Mrs Penguin - Good luck with the house hunting - I don't envy you that at all. I hated the whole process!
AFM - Suddenly I'm almost 3rd tri, eek! How did that happen?! I got my letter yesterday from HR confirming my mat leave which is quite exciting. I've booked Thursday off this week, we've got a growth scan and then we're heading down to my mum's for the night before loading our car up with baby stuff from my best friend, and she's following us back up with the big things (cotbed etc) that won't fit in our car and staying with us a couple of nights. I am SO excited! She's bringing her littlest, a 17-month old boy, so it should be a good weekend. She's never been to ours before, until recently they lived in the south west and as we're in the north east it was a bit of a trek for her with 3 kids in tow - at least now it's only a couple of hours drive for her! So this should be the first visit of many :)

What do you mean that you're almost 3rd tri ST? You ARE 3rd Tri lovely!! Yay!! Your weekend sounds busy! Hope you have a lovely time! And of course, Yay to your Mat leave!!
31/03/2015 at 11:10
Well the dates given by different things don't match up RKB, some say 27 weeks, some say 28 weeks - so I figured I'd say "almost" until I am absolutely, undeniably 3rd tri!
31/03/2015 at 20:04
Mrs P - we went to Newquay last year and Padstow the year before but only for long weekends. Really looking forward to it. We're also off to Zurich at the end of April to see friends who moved out there. It's nice having something to look forward to. Good luck on the house front!
RKB - sounds like you're long overdue a catch up then! I hope you have a lovely time. Glad to hear you're sleeping a bit better too. How's the decorating going?
ST - woohoo to third tri! Sounds like you've got a lovely weekend planned. Has the sickness gone for good now do you think?
Afm - work are still being pains in the bum. Really chuffing annoying now!
01/04/2015 at 11:18
That's fair enough ST! only a few more days and you're definitely undeniably 3rd tri! :-)
I will join you with the work thing Holey! I am so done it's unreal! I've had to email someone this morning to tell them that i won't be doing something they asked because i'm physically not capable of doing it at this point.
afm - SO friggin' tired today. Had a really bad night with W who for some unknown reason, was categorically refusing to sleep in his own bed. I don't know if he's just not well, he knows something is up that baby will be here soon, or if he's just going through a phase. Either way i've had about 3 hours sleep and feel like i've gone 10 rounds in the boxing ring with this baby. I've got serious Southern Discomfort on the go!
Only got to get through today and tomorrow and then it's a long weekend! - at least i'll be at home and not at work!
