Hi ladies. How are we all doing? Did anybody do anything exciting over the weekend?
Well we had a busy Saturday at my Nephews 1st birthday party, they did a great job at throwing that and then we came home with my Aunty and Uncle who live in LIndonesia to show them around our new house and have an Indian. Sunday was a bit quieter. My PIL came over for Sunday dinner but we just chilled mainly. Tonight we've got to go and pick out the carpet for our living room.
I think we have picked the twins names this morning, with the help of Dexter. We ended up with a list of 5 and got Dexter to pick two out of a hat. So that's rather exciting. We still have to pick middle names though. There are just too many!
I have a scan tomorrow. So I'm hoping that they are still growing well.
Hi to all who follow.

Hi MS! Sounds like you had a lovely weekend, and that is so sweet that Dexter got to help pick out the baby names too! Good luck with your scan tomorrow! I hope everything goes well.
AFM - "Quiet" Weekend, in so much as we didn't really do anything. H was working on Saturday, so it was just me and W. He's such a busy wee boy! Constantly on the go! I struggle to keep up with him! Sunday I let H have a lie in as his work had an open day and he'd been on his feet all day Friday and all day Saturday too. Me and W went and did the weekly food shop, and he said Hi to everyone who walked past him. It was so cute! He was even happy to chat (well, about as 'chatty' as a 21 month old can be really) away to the check out woman. She couldn't believe how chatty he was. I wouldn't have it any other way though.
Came home from shopping and had a snuggle on the couch with W before he went down for his nap....then i followed suit.
Today i feel like i haven't slept at all. I'm beyond shattered and i've got to be in work. Even if i'd chosen to take the day off, i doubt it would have made any difference as i don't think i'd have got much sleep any way because i'm so uncomfortable.
Ah well! Only 7 more weeks to go! or 27 working days left to go!

Mummy Simpson - sounds like a nice weekend and how exciting that you have picked some names ;-) I hope your scan goes well tomorrow.
RKB - Poor you, with your bad night's sleep, W sounds like a very cute shopping companion ;-)
AFM - Today is my first day of maternity leave, which is making everything feel very real and slightly scary! I have a midwife appointment this afternoon so am hoping baby has moved as last time she was back to back.

MS - sounds like a lovely weekend and great that you have names almost sorted, how sweet to get D to pick them. Good luck for scan tomorrow.
RKB - I'm hating that I can't sleep too so you have my sympathies. W sounds like a lovely little character, is he excited about getting a sister? I have no idea what 21 month olds are like, sorry!
MP - congrats on first day of ML, woo! Hope midwife goes ok and baby has turned. Have you looked at the Spinning Babies website? I used it loads when pg with S as he was breech for ages but the exercises got him to turn so I'm a big fan!
AFM - weekend was nice, quite chilled and enjoyed getting outside with S and H for the nice weather. H was off work all last week so I wasn't on here at all, we were trying to tire S out as he has sooo much energy at the moment but I think we were more tired than him! Took S to soft play this morning and have decided I might have to retire from soft play for now as my bump was aching so much from running around after him. Also, I nearly got wedged between two pillars at the top of a slide because my bump didn't fit. Classy.

MS - very exciting that you've picked names (with dexter's help!). Do you know what you're having? Hope all goes well tomorrow.
RKB - W sounds so sweet! Hope you sleep better tonight and feel a bit more rested.
Miss P - happy maternity leave! if baby hasn't moved are you going to have to have a caesarean?
Popcorn - sorry but the vision of you being stuck between pillars at soft play did make me laugh! Is s looking forward to being a big brother or doesn't he really understand yet?
Afm - went to the mil's Saturday. One of my nieces is very intrigued by me having a baby, unfortunately it meant she kept wanting to put her very cold hands on my stomach! Our eldest niece (6) also told me the baby looks black on the scan and that the baby eats what I eat so I can't have sweets or biscuits, she was v.funny!
In baby news I am officially feeling sh!t. The nausea is really getting to me. :-( I also think I'm coming down with a cold. Feeling very fuzzy and my throat is v.sore.
Apologies for being woe is me!

MS - Great news on the names and wonderful that Dexter got to be involved. Good luck for the scan today, hope they're both growing well.
RKB - Sounds like you had a busy weekend, I can't imagine how tiring it must be having a little one as well as coping with pregnancy! 27 working days left though, that'll fly by in no time!
Miss P - Happy maternity leave! Hope you're managing to get some rest. Has baby moved into a better position?
Popcorn - Your weekend sounds tiring too! I imagine the getting stuck at the soft play is easy to do, I forget how much room my bump takes up and am often walking into things!
Holey - Sorry to hear about the nausea, I hope it passes soon for you.
AFM - I'm officially on maternity leave now, and it's great! I had a lovely last day at work with lots of lovely presents. On Saturday my besties surprised me with afternoon tea and more lovely gifts. Baby wise, I don't feel at all different so am pretty sure nothing will happen anytime soon, if anything I almost feel too well to be about to give birth. I seem to have regained some energy and generally feel really good.

Popcorn - sorry, the vision of you getting stuck at soft play made me chuckle, also ;-) I will have a look at the Spinning Babies website, thanks for the advice.
Holey - your niece sounds very sweet and sorry to hear you are still feeling bleurgh, hopefully the nausea will ease off soon.
WooWoo - Happy Maternity Leave ;-) I read on my weekly update email from Emma's Diary that a surge of energy was a sign of early labour, so you never know...
AFM - Baby is still back to back ;-( The midwife said it would just make labour longer and I'd suffer with more back pain through my labour which sounds delightful! I don't think it would mean a caesarean though and she has said that there is still a chance the baby could move just before I go into labour. She has recommended I spend lots of time on my hands and knees with my bum in the air to tempt baby to move; apparently scrubbing floors is an optimum position so that is my plan for today. I am slightly worried once I am down on the kitchen floor though I won't be able to get back up and my husband will come home from work and find me stuck there, lol!

Mrs Pickle my baby was back to back and I had a natural birth.

Haha, glad I've raised a chuckle with you with a vision of me being stuck at soft play lol :)
Holey S has no real clue about the baby. He knows there's something in my tummy because he lifts my top and cuddles my belly (sweet at home, inappropriate in Costa ;))
MP don't worry about baby being back to back, there's still time to turn and as FM said, it doesn't rule out a natural delivery. Get on all floors lady...!
Ha, fours, not floors!

Woowoo - hope you're relaxing on ML and things get started for you soon.
Miss P - get scrubbing those floors then lady! Hope baby turns for you though.
Popcorn - that does sound sweet but agree Costa may not be the best place for it!
Afm - had a much better day yesterday. Wasn't even sick in the morning. I really hope this is the start of the blooming phase! Have picked up a stinking cold from somewhere though. But not feeling too bad.
In other news our 2 rabbits escaped yesterday morning! A lady knocked on our door and asked if we had rabbits because there were 2 in the carpark! One of them had made their way back to thehutch by ttime we caught tthe other one! Not a good way to start the day!

MS - Lovely news about picking names, and so sweet that D was involved
RKB - W sounds like such a gorgeous little chap, he must keep you so entertained! Not long left to go, eek!
Miss P - hope you're settling into ML
Popcorn - I feel you on the whole getting wedged because of a bump, and mine is still in early stages! I no longer fit through the gap between the back of the TV and the dining table, so I have to go the long way round. So inconvenient!
Holey - Hope you start to feel better soon. I completely understand and sympathise, it's awful when you feel so rotten. Glad your rabbits didn't get far!
Woowoo - Hope you're enjoying ML too!
AFM - Well I'm feeling thoroughly shocked and saddened this morning, so I apologise for my probably rather autopiloted responses above. The world has lost a very lovely man this morning, and while we knew on Monday that he didn't have long left we certainly didn't expect the predicted 2 weeks to turn into less than 2 days. Poor H has had to tell the whole of his office while still trying to absorb the shock himself, and I've had to tell my colleagues. It's just so sad. We thought of him as family, H has known him since he was 5 years old and he was a second dad to him, and I just can't believe he's gone. Can't get my mind on work at all. Sorry for the total downer.
