hope no one minds me starting the thread.
hope everyone is well, I'm still just waiting for booking in appointment week after next and sitting on my hands trying not to book an early scan!

Hi MrsP. Of course non of us mind. I normally start one but I've been really busy moving house this weekend. Hope the time goes quick until your booking in. not much to report from me, other than the fact we have moved house. Got lots to buy ready for the new arrivals and I'm starting to get a little bit stressed.
Hi to all who follow!

How did the move go? Are you liking it so far?

MrsP know what you mean about booking an early scan. We had two with S because of early bleeding but didn't have one this time around. Waiting for twelve weeks felt like ages! How are you feeling in general?
MS you're in, woo! Congratulations on the move, lovely. Don't let yourself get too stressed, you've plenty of time still x
AFM all three of us are ill, bleurgh! I've had yet another doozy of a cold and S and my H are upchucking everything :( rotten. Will be 30 weeks on Wednesday, eek! Really need to get my head round this baby thing, I've bought four cloth nappies and one vest still. I'm pretty sure we need more than that!

MrsP - Hope your booking in appt comes round quickly, the first 12 weeks are definitely the longest, I gave in and had an early scan - I would've gone mad having to wait until my NHS one!
MS - Hope the move has gone well and that you're somewhat sorted.
Popcorn - Sorry to hear that you're all poorly, fingers crossed it's just a 24 hour thing and disappears quickly. Wow to 30 weeks, come round quickly doesn't it?!
AFM - Bit more progress made on the nursery, we have some pictures up and shelves now, just waiting for curtains, blind, light fitting and a rug and then I think we're done! We also picked up the pram at the weekend, it all suddenly feels very real! Count down is on until mat leave now, I finish up on 5th March, which with days off means I have 18 days left to work, it can't come soon enough!

Good morning ;-)
Mrs Penguin - I agree, the first twelve weeks do seem to to drag. I had two early scans like popcorn because of early bleeding but might have been tempted to pay for one otherwise!
Mummy Simpson - Hope the move is going well, you've still got plenty of time to buy things ;-)
popcorn - aw, hope you are feeling better soon.
Woowoo - Very jealous that your nursery is taking shape; we have a Monday to Friday lodger and his work has gone on longer than anticipated so he will be here until the end of February meaning our nursery decorating will have to be a last minute thing! We have bought nearly all the stuff for it though and have our parents booked in to come and help so I'm sure it will all be fine!
AFM - I have started to get some stretch marks which are pretty ugly; I have been making a massive effort with moisturiser every day so was hoping to be one of the lucky ones who didn't get any. Also having issues booking in for my NHS antenatel classes; the midwives keep failing to get back to me and then putting the classes back; at this rate the baby will be here before I get a date for some! Baby was back to back at my appointment yesterday but the midwife didn't seem worried saying there was still plenty of room for her to move round yet! Other than that I'm all good, just getting a bit scared now that my due date is NEXT month!

Mummysimpson - hope the move went well. Have you gone far?
Mrs penguin - I had my booking in appointment at 6+4! We had a sneaky private scan on Saturday which was amazing. I'm not helping am I?!
Popcorn - hope you're all feeling better soon
Woowoo - very exciting! Which pram did you go for if you don't mind me asking?
Mrs pickle - hope you get your classes soon! Hope baby turns from being back to back for you.
Afm - currently 8+5. Been for bloods and flu jab today. Wasn't great, could only find a vein right on the edge of inside of my elbow. It's really sore!

Miss Pickle - sorry to hear about the stretch marks, I'm obsessed with bio-oil but I'm pretty sure my efforts aren't worth it and they'll get me in the end! Is there anything you can do to try and get baby to turn? Although as the MW said, there's plenty of room and still lots of time so I wouldn't worry. And I know - how has it come round so quickly?!!
Holey - Congratulations again :) Do you have a date for your first scan yet? Bloods sound painful, hope it doesn't take long to recover. And we went for the ICandy Peach in red, I love it :)
PC - Hope you're all feeling a bit better now.
AFM - not much to report really, just generally uncomfortable and tired! Day off tomorrow though so I plan to do nothing :)

Thanks woowoo. 12 week scan is 3rd March so not too long to go.
I have found myself looking at people's prams when I'm out and about now. Quite like the look of the bugaboo chameleon but looooads of time to look yet. Am off to Google icandy peach now!

3rd March will be here in no time :)
We were between the bug and the ICandy, what it came down to was that neither would fit in the boot of our car without removing a wheel, and the ICandy was a lot less fiddly to take a wheel off than the bug. I think they're probably fairly similar in terms of what you get. There's so much choice out there, and it is pretty overwhelming when you first start looking!
