I've tried to Google this with no success. I've lost over 8lbs since ov time, and am not sure if this is normal? I've read that it can happen due to sickness, but I haven't been actually vomiting, just feeling nauseous. I just don't know whether to ask my midwife about it, or just see what happens?
What do you wise ladies think?
(Useful info is that my BMI was 23.2 the beginning of June and now is 21.8)

Have you been eating less because you feel ill? Generally in the first tri I think not having enough food will make you feel rubbish, but won't affect the baby. I'd have a chat with your midwife though and she can advise.

I lost half a stone in the first tri and I wasn't ever sick. I felt so nauseous however I didn't eat as much as normal or as often just because I didn't fancy it. I regained it once the first tri was over

I'm a few lbs down but mine is due to sickness and generally just being off my food. I've heard that some people do drop weight just by simply choosing to eat better and more healthier. Have you changed your diet much since your BFP?

I am definitely off food, and have less of an appetite, but have been making sure I eat my Shreddies each morning! I never used to eat breakfast, so this is really the only thing that I have changed.
I've been conscious of it for the past few weeks, but I've worked out now that I'm going to feel rubbish and nauseous whether I eat or not, so have started to eat rubbish as well as proper meals. In fact, as I typed this I was literally eating a fairy cake!

I lost a stone in first tri. I wasn't eating less, and I never threw up, I was just put off by different foods. I have a mega sweet tooth and lost it during 1st tri so I think that's what did it for me. Don't worry, those 8lbs will go back on, and then some! lol
