H is 13 weeks and 13lb, good head control and super nosey! We have baby style oyster pram and he is in the carrycot. But lately when we take him out unless he's ready for a nap he screams in the pram and I think it's as he can't see and doesn't like lying down. Ive tried propping him up a bit in the carrycot which helped but he didn't look v comfy and kept slipping.
do you think he's too small to move into the main pram? What are the risks? I don't want to harm him but I do want to be able to take him ouHim hid pram without drama if poss!

does it lie back fairly flat? I would just let him in the pushchair if so. they do get nosy at this age, I'm fully expecting A to get bored of her carrycot soon and she's only 9 weeks but doesn't sleep well in it so gets bored. if your pushchair is suitable from birth or lies almost flat then use it.

We also had the Oyster, we moved him at 16 weeks as he'd out grown the carrycot, not ideal but he wasn't ever in there for that long.
Does he still nap in other places? Could he just be fighting his sleep rather than the carrycot?

We switched from about 6 month. Until the. He was either in the carrycot or car seat.

We've discussed this. At a virtually lie flat position I can't see how its any different than him going in his carseat or swing

EWMSS! Our icandy almost lies flat in its recline position. It's certainly flatter than the car seat. We moved Isla at 4.5 months as she started to hate going in the carrycot.

Our pushchair seat isn't suitable before 6 mths, so we didn't move her until then. However the carrycot has a back that raises up, like the old fashioned Silver Cross so she could sit up a bit and see out.

E went in the pushchair seat literally a week before she was 6 months. We have an icandy cherry. A lot aren't suitable for smaller babies because although they lie back quite flat, the seat shape stays the same (just tips back) so their legs end up being higher up than their bums iyswim. Mine is like this.

The seat does lie almost flat and I also thought its better than the car seat so if he's in less than two hours should be ok but wasn't sure if that's right?
He does sleep in other places and in the carry cot but he just seems desperate to see out.

Rafferty was 6.5 months, I used a foam wedge under the carrycot so he could see more. I loved him in the carrycot and didn't want to move him lol, I only did when I couldn't fit him in any more!

I didn't get the carry cot with our pram a it had 3 recline positions (one was lie flat) I move J from the lie flat at about4.5 months and now he can sit unaided he's in the normal pushchair position

For both of mine we used the carrycot until about 6 months, but with C we also used the car seat a bit as she was a nosier baby. We have an iCandy apple and I wasn't keen on the seat shape when it was laid back so didn't want to use it before 6 months.
