Hi Munchkin!! P is 9 months (where's the time gone?!) and for breakfast she tends to have either fruit porridge or baby rice with mashed banana or fruit puree in it and/or toast. Lunch is often a jacket potato with either reduced salt beans or tuna or she might have onelette or acrambled eggs with toast or some mini sandwiches and then some kind of finger foods like rice cakes or organix crisps or fingers of pepper or cucumber. Dinner is always a hot meal. She has what we have as far as possible so spaghetti bolognaise, chicen with mash, pasta as finger food or soft veg like brocolli and cauliflower, she also loves salmon. Oh and she loves shepherds pie! If i am in a rush or we are having something she cant have she will have some of my Anabel Karmel food from the freezer or very occasionally a jar. She always has pudding after dinner which is a fruit pot or homemade rice pudding because of her milk allergy. Hoping to introduce soya yoghurts soon too. If we are out and about i take munchy bits for her to snack on like rice cakes or little baby biscuits.
hope you are doing ok? Xx

Hi lovely xxxx glad to hear you and P are doing well. C was so in to finger food but O is a lazy beast and loves everything off a spoon. They couldn't be less alike in some ways and identical in others!
I'm desperately trying to encourage him to pick food up and eat it. So far he likes toast, cucumber sticks, dairylea sandwiches, rice cakes, cauli and broccoli, not so keen on scrambled egg but I do keep offering it! He likes to chew and spit out banana lol xx

G and P are totally different too. G was soooo fussy and P eats anything that's not nailed down lol! He will get there with his finger foods. Just keep offering it xx

Wow, P is eating loads! I think I need to seriously up M's food now. She is a breakfast refuser though and gags if a banana goes anywhere near her, lol!
How much milk are your LO's having?

P is quite greedy lol!! She loves her food. Milk wise she has 18-22oz a day. I make up an 8oz bottle at breakfast and usually use some in her porridge then offer the rest as a drink afterwards and she will have about 6oz altogether. Then she has another bottle between lunch and tea and takes about 7oz of it. Then she has a bottle just before bed and has 5-8oz. I am worried she is eating too much now lol! Mind you she is on her line so must be ok. She is very mobile so i guess she burns it off! X

S is a complete dustbin I think, he is big though! He is almost 9m, and has cereal - shredded wheat, Weetabix or porridge with some fruit for breakfast - blueberries, mango, pineapple or raspberries are favourites. He has a mid morning snack of some raisins and banana / biscuit or a couple mini of rice cakes, lunch can be things like pizza toast, pasta, roast potatoes, baby bell, with some veg and fruit, plus some yoghurt and then dinner is usually involves fish or meat with rice/pasta/potatoes and some veg, AND a yoghurt. He has between 16-21oz milk a day depending on his mood it seems, but he has milk on cereal, plus yoghurt and cheese so is hopefully getting what he needs.
We do BLW which I didn't actually plan to do fully, but because he ate so well himself and didn't like spoon feeding, I've been able to go along with fine, and for the most it works out fairly easy, except when I am short on time and he ends up with a banana and some marmite on toast for tea!
I really wouldn't worry about the finger food thing, the main thing is that O is eating and they all end up at the same place, they all end up feeding themselves - and hopefully with less mess eventually - feel like I spend my life mopping the floor!
