N always BF for half hour ish sessions and it seems as though I is going to be similar.
During the day I have the TV on or sit while N plays nearby etc but at night we keep lights low and no noise so I play on my phone and come on here & DW.
What do you do while feeding? Especially at night.
I have a kindle I could read but at 2/3am my head is too tired for a proper book so I don't tend to read.
ETA- I tend not to feed lying down in bed as it gives me blocked ducts where she can't drain my melon boobs evenly so I'm sitting in my feeding chair to feed. Also I don't really enjoy feeding lying down tbh!

I play on my phone - surf the Internet, play solitaire. I did try read a book when he was up late feeding but he sleeps earlier now so this has fallen away. Sometimes I read a magazine but my concentration is pretty limited these days!

I generally wake my H up and make him chat to me!! I feed sitting up in bed as we are still working on getting a correct latch, and it just doesn't work lying down.
During the day I have the tv on.

My H wouldn't wake in an earthquake during the night!
I'd love him to pop downstairs and make me a cuppa but despite telling him this MANY times during the day, not once has he ever done it! (I BFed for many months with N and didn't EVER get my nighttime cuppa!)
I don't think I wake up enough to read a book or magazine, I'm always half asleep!

2 words, candy crush

I have the tv on low and surf the net on my phone. It is so boring! h has brought the nursing chair into our room which makes life easier.
With I I used to sit in her room in the dark as she was formula fed and went straight back to sleep after downing her bottles so I was never in there long.

I just go on here and FB... dead boring though so think i need to find something else to do as well!

Look at FB, here, DW, twitter, daily mail website (its such a guilty pleasure) and Pinterest. Hep, you *need* to get into Pinterest!

In the first few weeks at night i came downstairs to feed as it needed to sit up properly and have some light to get them latched on so i'd surf i'interweb on my phone, now I jus sit at the end of the bed - only short feeds so i don't do anything, maybe think about what i need to do in the morning! During the day I'm usually trying to stop A climbing over me or talking to him about random things like Octonoughts

When I realised this baby wasn't going to sleep much at night I bought a Kindle Fire and in the first three months I think I must have read about ten books! He's getting on for 6 months now though and wakes (slightly) less often so it's usually Daily Mail Showbiz gossip (the shame) or Rightmove, lusting after houses we clearly can't afford!

I played a lot of Angry Birds!

I played on my phone, in the beginning with L I woke h up to help me latch him and I'd try to chat to him but he'd go back to sleep

I need a decent phone game. I've avoided candy crush but maybe I should embrace it!

Haha hep, it's addictive but it's quite funny as you can see where other people are if linked to Facebook and the people making most progress are def new mummies! I'm exactly same as you though, it's a pain if d is being fussy with latch and I need to use both hands!

During the day, i'd watch TV, read, chat with C if he wasn't at school, surf the web.
At night, he didn't feed for long enough to do anything, and from 5 weeks he slept through.

I read my Kindle. Nothing more than trash though, my middle of the night brain can't cope too well with anything too complicated or intelligent.

I avoided Candy Crush till I had M but it did entertain me, especially in the first couple of weeks of constant feeding.
26/04/2013 at 10:56
I used to either have the tv on low or sit in a zombie like state. I would do the feeding propped up in bed
26/04/2013 at 11:22
I play on my phone at night but am going to try and read instead as gone are the days where i would read before going to sleep! eta I sit on the edge of the bed to feed - if I lay down I think I would fall asleep

i must have a well trained husband!! He gets up to get me a drink and a kit kat!! And if I need to express he sorts out the pump and bottles, then puts them back in the steriliser/fridge, and winds A when we're done!!
