my husband and I are currently trying for a baby and I've been doing reading about pregnancy symptoms and I'm confused as to what is meant by early pregnancy symptoms at 2-3 weeks. Does this mean 2-3 after conception or 2-3 after the first day of your last period which is when the midwife would calculate your pregnancy from? It seems to be all quite vague online.

Your pregnancy begins from the first day of your last period (until the dating scan confirms due date ). So 2wks into pregnancy is roughly when you conceived & when you may start to experience symptoms from

Thank you, I was very confused by that. I found it strange that you could experience the symptoms despite being only a few days after conception but classed as 2-3 weeks pregnant

When you get a digital pregnancy test and it says 2-3 weeks it means you're 4-5 weeks from lmp. So that's when you normally start the symptoms x

You can get symptoms from the moment you conceive at 2wks pregnant though it is more common to happen later into the pregnancy as hormone levels increase

Im pretty new to this so please bare with me.
Ive just found out I'm pregnant with my first child. I'm so scared I wondered if I was over reacting or is this normal? I've cried since finding out but i also feel very excited. I feel like I'm up and down with my emotions and just wondered if this is the normal ??
I also dont have many symptoms. Apart from needing the loo a lot!!
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
