guidelines say 6 months I know but interested in when people actually moved baby - earlier / later? Why did you decide to move them?
i cant imagine not having H in with us at mo although I'm sure that will change!

O was moved into his own room when he was 5.5 months as he had outgrown his Moses basket and there was not space in our room for his cotbed. I did not sleep well for those 2 weeks until he was 6 months. With L, she's in a cot in our room as we were able to have a shuffle about of furniture around the house and made room for it so she can be in with us for longer.

I too can't imagine putting E into her own room anytime soon. It's only 7 weeks off for us.. really can't see it happening! I won't even leave her for ten minutes to have a shower so we've some definite worm on me to do!

It was around 6 months for us. Although to save hauling the cot into her room, only to have to bring it back if we/she wasn't happy, we actually moved out of our room for the first few weeks and left her there! When we were happy to make the move permanent, we moved the cot.

10 months because I moved out of my parents' house and there was no space for him in my room. It was very hard for me but he didn't mind at all! Not sure about A as depends on space, if she's sleeping through and therefore ok to share with N etc.
Just short of 6m. His sleep went through a rough patch and I thought I might've been disturbing him. He was fine (he'd already been having his day naps in there) and his sleep did improve after a week or two. I think you'll know when the time feels right.

L was 5.5 months but moved him back in with us as he just didnt sleep and and I was more in his room than ours then moved about 7 months
Isaac was 6.5 months

Isla was just over 6 months. She started to get a bit more wriggly in her carrycot and had a toppling over incident that I definitely did not want repeating. I really didn't want to move her but she barely noticed the change and started sleeping through a couple of weeks after the move.

A is 4 months and doesn't fecking well sleep in his cot. He'll sleep next to me or in the crook of my arm but if I dare to lay him in his cot he grunts and squirms himself awake. The cot is right next to our bed with the side off so I don't know how he knows the difference!! I can't see him going into his own room at 6mo

9 months as we moved house, but he would have always stayed for 6 the months.

We moved N at 10 months, he slept so well in our room that we didn't see the point in moving him. As it was he continued to sleep really well until it all broke at a year

A few weeks after 6 months as I had to wait for my H to put up curtains in the nursery (I did them in the end!)

First time 8 weeks but i genuinely don't think i knew the guidelines then. 2nd time we kicked him out at about 9 months - he was nowhere near sleeping through and so noisy we decided we might as well. I'll be aiming for 6 months this time.

With G I actually moved into his room. I stayed there until he was 6 months then moved back into our room. This worked really well for us, however as we only have two bedrooms we'll have baby in our room this time until 6 months when he'll move in with G. (Well, that's the plan).

M was 8 months as we were in a 1 bed place until then!

We moved O at about 11 months. M is 12 months and still in our room, think i'll be moving her soon but like having her close to me.

O was 4 months, we'd just moved house and didn't have space in our room...his room was just across the stairs from us and he was always a good sleeper. We just left doors open and checked regularly x

At just over 8months. She was pulling herself up in bedside-crib and we had to move to her to cot. However it was a pain as I had further to walk when she woke!
Tbh she ends up in our bed quite regularly at the mo (she is 22months) some nights she sleeps through. The others she doesn't and I just fetch her and plonk her in bed with us and try to go back to sleep!

6 months for both of mine, mainly because the cotbed wouldn't fit in our room and the moses basket was getting very small for them. With C I even had her moses basket in a travel cot because she would rock it on the stand quite alarmingly when she woke up in the night.
I have to say, a little bit of me also really wanted my own space by then.
Both girls slept brilliantly as soon as I moved them, and son got into a really good bedtime routine which we've never looked back from...

around 6 months with both, think it was slightly later with no 2 but that was b/c we had guests and her room had been the spare room
