I'm 15 weeks and 2 days. I feel huge to me, but when I see myself in a mirror I realise I don't actually look that pregnant, just a bit rounder with massive boobs! Because I am paranoid, this obviously bothers me, in that I think something must be wrong because I am not visibly pregnant yet.
I have always had a fairly flat stomach. for the sake of examples....see my comparison below...and although its my 4th pregnancy, I've never got this far before. I also have a slightly tilted womb, which apparently affects things. I just don't see how, if my ticker is right, there can be a baby the size of an orange in there?!
When did you 'pop' with your first? Reassure me!

I'm trying to remember but I don't think I started t show until I was 20 something weeks but then I have a bit of chubbiness to disguise it. Your little bump looks lovely. Everyone shows at different stages. Try not to worry, I know that is easier said than done. xx

You look perfect to me! This is my second baby and I didn't pop until relatively late.
13 weeks, earliest 'bump' photo I have
15 weeks - looking probably similar to you if not even maybe a bit flatter?
16 weeks, still not all that big
17 weeks and I'd say it's come out
18 weeks and only at this point would I call it a 'proper' bump really! I could still hide it easily for a good few more weeks, I got to something like 25 weeks and there were still people at work who didn't know/thought I was just chubbo even though I wasn't making any particular effort to hide, wore tight clothing etc.
Sorry for the millions of (probably huge) photos but just wanted to give you the visual reassurance! Baby is perfectly healthy and still hanging on in here, although at this point I'd quite like her to make her exit...

Thank you both! That's a huge reassurance!
I think I am comparing myself too much to other people. someone actually commented on how I wasn't showing much the other day which freaked me out a bit, but to be fair, she had a 10lb baby....so maybe she was just big all the way? I don't know.
Anxiety is the devil!

I am a similar body type to you and I've just looked back at my bump pictures from my first and my 17 week photo looks pretty much like you do now. I had "something" there from really early on, about 10 weeks, if I was wearing a super tight top, but until about 18 weeks, it still could have looked like a little bit of chub (just kind of that line/fold in the middle if that makes sense) if nobody knew. From about 18 weeks it became much rounder and "bump like".
Your boobs have grown an awful lot though!

I know Ninky they're obscene!!! I was an E cup before I have no idea what they are now, I'm going bra shopping tonight, which should be interesting!!!!
Thanks, I do feel I look pregnant, I just have this paranoia. x

We all have it and you must have it even more so given your history. You'll find that after a big meal, or when your bladder is full, you'll look bigger and other times you'll look smaller. I also had a tilted uterus which I hadn't really associated with bump shape, but it must do. It righted itself by the 20 week scan though.

Yea she said it would probably fix itself.
Phew. I feel a bit better. Thanks guys x

I felt a bit inadequate next to the bumps of the other second-timers to be honest! But we are all different shapes/sizes and show in different ways.
I've said it before I'm sure, but there was a woman in my antenatal classes from last time who was 35-38 weeks pregnant and honestly I would not have given up a seat for her on the bus. She looked just a bit chubs round the tum that was it!

Ha! I am taking this as a good thing. I am defo bigger cos nothing fits me anymore! and ive had 4 scans, there's defo a baby in there!

Rod, i looked v similar to you x

I think I looked pregnant about 23/4 weeks the first time but notably to other people about 28. Around 23/4 weeks I remember proudly wearing maternity clothes and thinking I just didn't look chunky it was more a baby bump iyswim.
Second time about 17 weeks people could tell, third time about 13 weeks and this time I'd had terrible bloating in bump shape at 7 weeks which all settled but I'd say about 14 this time, my poor poor abdominal muscles

I think I'm just impatient to be honest!!
Its all worth the stretched muscles TRF! x

I thought I was showing at about 16/17 weeks, but looking back at photos I was just chubbier, I didnt really show properly until 21/22ish weeks.
29/08/2014 at 13:27
You'll look back and be amazed you ever thought you had a bump at the beginning! According to my husband I didn't look pregnant until I was 28 weeks (and seeing as I gave birth at 32 apparently in his eyes I was only pregnant for a month!)
Here is me around the time you are now so you can see what I mean...
29/08/2014 at 13:32
If you start off a small bump it does grow in time though... this is me at 28+5
And my final bump shot at 31+5 back in the same green t-shirt I had in the first two photos:
Sorry those two have come out sideways - no idea why as the first two worked fine!!

You definitely look pregnant at 19 weeks, does your H walk around with his eyes closed?!! haha!
thank you everyone you have made me feel better! xxx
29/08/2014 at 16:09
Noticeable to everyone was about 34 weeks, I noticed a bump properly about 23-24 weeks!
29/08/2014 at 16:16
First time round it was only noticeable to others at about 24 weeks. Second time there was a definite bump by about 16 weeks and third time people had guessed by about 9 weeks as there was no hiding it!
29/08/2014 at 17:31
Similar to you and others I think, i thought I had a bump and felt pregnant from about twelve weeks, but my bump didn't really pop out till about six months! I had customers at work coming up to me during my last week before maternity leave and saying they hadn't realised i was pregnant even though they came into the store several times a week! I understand why you're worried, but try not to, you look great :)
