Im finding work, housework etc really hard going at the moment, as Im knackered all of the time (am 7+2).
When did your energy levels return?
23/04/2013 at 14:04
Im about 13 weeks and have been feeling less tired the past 2 weeks. I still conk out if I'm comfy on the sofa but don't feel like I'm going to fall asleep at my desk any more which is good! I know it's difficult but try to rest when you can, make sure you get plenty of sleep and don't over do anything. Fingers crossed it will soon pass!

About 15ish weeks I felt better in most aspects but the extreme tiredness where if I didn't go to sleep on purpose I would have nodded off by accident lasted quite a short space of time around the 7 week mark and then I was left with a general hungover feeling. Hope you feel better soon xx

I noticed a definite increase in energy around 12 weeks, it's crippling I know! Hope you start to notice a difference soon x
Thankyou. Hoping it passes soon, its hard not having any energy particularly with an energetic toddler!
Feels like a constant hangover, minus the good part of drinking alcohol, mixed in with jet lag!

The first 12 weeks are terrible. The tiredness just knocks you out! My tiredness subsided at about 14-15 weeks.

Mmm, I'm 27 weeks and still waiting for my burst of energy!

I'm hoping I wake up a bit soon as I am so tired all the time! I never realised I would be this exhausted. Come on burst of energy!

I found I was tired for the whole of my first trimester when I was pregnant with my second child. I would literally fall asleep on the sofa!

Im struggling to stay awake at my desk at the moment, my eye just want to close!!

I never realised how exhausted and hormonal I would be. I thought the worst thing would be morning sickness and after I realised I had escaped this thought it would be plain sailing up until the 3rd trimester.. how wrong was I!?

About 14 weeks. At weeks 10-12 I was performing in 8 pantomimes a week as well as working full time so I'd go home at lunchtime for a nap, have another nap after work, do a three hour show, then come home to bed!
The only time it hits me now is when I have a fortnightly meeting before work at 7.30am. By 3.00 I'm ready for bed!

13 weeks to the day, I felt like a new woman! Could barely function before that- like someone else has said, it was like jet lag with a hangover constantly! But it definitely did subside. Forget the housework, enjoy the sleep!

Towards the end of 1st tri. Although at 19 weeks I'm exhausted by 9pm most nights.

I'm 27 weeks and still waiting.

About 13 weeks and before that I was good for nothing! I was only saying to someone today how much I hated 1st tri and you think it will never end, but it does and the energy somehow seems to restore itself (not that much mind you, but definitely more than in 1st tri!!)
