E is being sent home from nursery as she has a temperature (only of 30 but there we go) that hasn't reduced with Calpol.
Aside from the major panic at having to re-arrange work for the day and probably tomorrow, I'm not sure when/if she needs to be seen by the doctor. She is asleep apparently at the moment so obviously feeling a bit off colour. Would you wait and see how she is in herself? Or is there a temperature when she needs to be seen?
bit clueless as we've never even taken her temperature before!!

I don't go off temperature I go off how the child is, if their temp is 39 and running round, eating, happy then I Medicate and watch and wait and if their temp is 37.5 and they are sad, listless not drinking I seek medical attention

Thanks CP, OH is looking after her this afternoon so I will ask him how she is. I suspect it's a reaction to last week's immunisations plus it is very hot here today.
My OP shoul have read 38 not 30!

We do what CP said and we have seen a gp he advised that was the way to continue. He is my favourite GP as has said in a phone consultation if you think they need to see m they need to see me as he thinks parents know their baby best. I hope little miss is feeling better soon
